Blehhh

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night, so it was very crowded. I am still trying to figure out why. The food was kind of random (I had a shrimp po-boy, not very English/Irish, but whatever). There are pool tables, so I guess that would be one reason to come here. I was hoping for something to replace Atkins Park that recently shut down, but I don't think this is going to do it.
- Pros: Nice beer selection
- Cons: cheesy atmosphere, so-so menu
Great Food in a Fabulous Setting
by Bellafiore12 at Citysearch
Hello All! I normally don't write food reviews, only a few in my life, and I felt the need to write a review for the Firkin and Crown.
The Firkin and Crown is a beautiful English Pub with an accent of dark woods and velvety reds making this a very soothing place to relax. They serve outstanding food - a great mix of English Pubby Favorites mixed in with some famous American dishes. I have been here several times and have tried the Seasoned to perfection Cajun Wings (Trust me, A Must! )and the rich Colby Pie ( I believe this is the shephard's pie), Fresh Fish and Chips and several of the decadent desserts. Yummmmmy, why isn't this place closer to me???
They also seem to have an extensive wine list with a whole variety of beers on tap. My Favorite is the Rodney Strong and the Vini Tini.
And lastly, I have to admit I have been to some of the best restaurants in this country (half of the time I spend in LA and the rest in ATL) and I must admit this is one of my favorite restaurants to always visit. Must Try, Trust me :)
- Pros: Food, Service, and Setting
- Cons: Parking (Only When it's busy, which is always)
Awesome food

The pretzels are delicious (like the ones you get up north), the menu choices give you a variety of great unique choices (sweet potato fries, authentic fish and chips), but also good old favorites like a classic, delicious melt in you mouth burger. Great place to try!!!!
- Pros: Best burgers I've had in a long time!!!
- Cons: It can get crowded. . . but it's a pub, it's expected
BEST DINING EXPERIENCE
by JaneRocks at Citysearch
One of the best dining experiences North of Atlanta. Enjoyed the total experience. From the great atmosphere, excellent service and the delicious food cooked to perfection. If in the Alpharetta/Cumming area do not miss out on this fine eatery you won't regret it. Make sure and try the fish n chips, they're the best in town!
- Pros: food, service, ambiance, menu selection, free parking
- Cons: nothing that i can think of

- Pros: lively crowd, great food, excellent staff, lots of beer
- Cons: NONE
Awesome Pub North of Atlanta!
by foodie513 at Citysearch
I found my new favorite place north of Atlanta! The Firkin & Crown is a great pub and restaurant, which is perfect for family or a group of friends to get a great meal or watch a game!
- Pros: Food & Atmosphere
- Cons: Nothing
A little disappointing
by merit2718 at Citysearch
The menu was a big let-down. Unlike some other "Irish or English pubs" around Atlanta, the menu was completely scattered-wings, Mexican, burgers...a medicore selection of bar food rather than an authentic pub experience. I probably will not be back.
- Pros: Waitstaff exceptionally friendly, lively crowd, pool tables
- Cons: No authentic "pub feel", completely random menu
