Frozen food for foodies...

by crumbaugh

We are seriously blown away at the quality of the meals.

We just had meal 11 of 12 of our first delivery and there hasn't been a bum meal yet. Easy to assemble and the cooking times are very precise.

I had it assembled and delivered which is such a great relief.

My husband and I are completely sold. We love to cook and we love to eat good food... and this service allows us to do that even on the really, really busy days.

  • Pros: Value, value, value... Time is money.
  • Cons: ???

delicious and easy

by sjboling

This is a really cool little place where you pick up pre-made frozen dinner entrees. There are different size packages (6 or 12 meals for 2-3 or 4-6 people) that you can order online. The menu changes each month, with about 15 entrees to choose from. Anyone who tries to have a homemade meal every night knows how difficult it can be to plan a different meal for every day of the week. It seems perfect for families or working singles (although the 2-3 serving size is always enough for 3, so you'll definitely have leftovers), but I'm a college student and I use it every month. Eating nutritious meals is a lot easier when the hard work is already done for you. I'd definitely recommend trying this!

  • Pros: No more planning meals and shopping for ingredients!
  • Cons: Sides cost extra

Saving Time and Money

by busybee1

I have saved so much time and money by getting meals from A Dinner A'fare. The meals are tasty. Many of the dishes seem like something I would order at a restaurant. I usually order 6 full meals a month (having leftovers for the next night and then making my own meals to fill in the gaps) . As a busy professional, student, wife, and mother, I can at least know that my family will have a good meal to eat at dinnertime and we're not picking things up (fast food) on the run.

Convenient, Affordable

by cbj4

LOVE the dinner afare - it is the best for people who are not creative in the kitchen and don't have time to fuss over the "what's for dinner" question. Most all of the dishes have been very good and definitely are better than what I could come up with, and the prices are very reasonable considering what you would pay for all the extra spices, etc. in the grocery store. I take advantage of the stand in chef - it just takes that much off your shoulders when you get home from a long day at work not to have to figure out dinner.

This is wonderful! Saves lots of time and $$!

by MelissaMHill

I just love using this service. I like to cook, but between work, the gym, and keeping up with the house there isn't much time left to cook. THis saves time and tastes great.

  • Pros: Quick, Easy, Tasty Meals
  • Cons: Not a lot of low-fat options.

I love the food and convenience of Dinner A'Fare

by piccolascimmia

I've been using Dinner A'Fare for nearly a year and it's invaluable to me and my husband. They make it so convenient to either pick it up ready made, or to make it yourself quickly (I make 12 meals in less than an hour). I've found that I always have plenty of yummy options to choose from, and that making the meal at home is about as easy as picking it up. I'm very happy with the quality and cuts of meat, and if you prep the meals yourself, you can make them as spicy or mild as you like. I've run budget reports and using Dinner A'Fare isn't more expensive for us than our previous eating out/grocery habits...I've found that we eat in more frequently because its ready to go. I'm a happy customer and will continue to pick up monthly meals to help me be less stressed out during the week!

  • Pros: Makes home cooked meals less stressful, easy to book, easy to schedule

Beats the Grocery!

by mlj528

This place is awesome! You can prepare your own meals- 12 meals in less than 2 hours, or you can have them prepare the meals for you to pick up. I have 4 kids, so I LOVE Dinner A'Fare and rely on it as my main meal planning every month. Seriously, I have 12 meals that feed 6 people per meal already ready to go before the month even starts!

The food is super fresh and healthy too and my family loves it. Talk about making my life easy! I highly recommend Dinner A'fare to anyone who gets annoyed having to go to the grocery and plan out meals every week. Not sure if you can schedule a cooking class from here, but you can just call them to either order your meals to pick up, or call them to schedule a session.

  • Pros: Makes my life easier!
