I LOVE this place and strongly recommend it!!!!
by Backupsinger
I have been absolutely thrilled with the Dinner A'Fare at Northlake. The facility is new and spotless, and the staff is incredible. They are extremely helpful and always go out of their way to make the experience go smoothly. They are a caring and friendly group who really want to help make life easier. The meal choices are varied and very healthful. I love the fact that they even list "Diet points" for those on Weight Watchers. Overall, I feel that since going to the Dinner A'Fare at Northlake, I am eating a more healthy well-rounded diet that has a great variety. Also, I have found the program to be very cost effective, especially with the twelve meal pack. I have compared costs for some of my favorite meals that I would make at home and the Dinner A'Fare is comparable or even cheaper many times. Most importantly I find that I am saving time by going there, and this makes life much easier.
- Pros: Clean, Excellent menu, Friendly staff, Convenient location
- Cons: None
Quick and Easy

We love the fast easy preparation of Dinnerafare meals. We are always on the go and it is nice to have the meals ready to cook when we need them. My hubby especially loves the crab cakes. The meals are very tasty and use different spices than I would normally cook with so it is nice to have a variety for our meals.
Best Time and Money Saver for Family Meals
by MaryHadley
This place is great! This is how I serve almost every meal to my family now. Our grocery bills have been cut dramatically...we couldn't make these dinners ourselves for this price. And the food is good (the meats are always tender, good quality meats)...better than I could make myself. All of the ingredients are listed as is the dietary exchange and nutritional information and it's all fresh, "real" food. I know I'm not feeding my kids "fake" things and lots of perservatives.
Best shortcut to a great home-cooked meal

I'm a new (working) mom, and I find that this is the best program for my family. I have always loved to cook, but by the time I get home and get ready to prepare dinner, there's not enough time in the evening. Dinner A'Fare has been the solution for me. We get good, home-cooked meals, and I don't have to feel guilty about either blowing our budget or resorting to frozen (and high in sodium and other bad-for-you items) foods. I find that when we eat our Dinner A'Fare meals, our overall weekly grocery budget is reduced by half.
Easy dinner option!

My husband and I decided to try out Dinner A'fare after hearing a lot of buzz about the concept. We're both really busy people--he's in graduate school, about to graduate, and I'm an attorney who recently went back to school. In a little less than two hours, we had created 12 meals that serve "5-6" according to the website. Our hope was to have enough for two nights of dinner, plus leftovers for lunch. That's exactly how it worked out! All of the dishes are super-easy to prepare at home--only requiring a few minutes of microwaving, or putting them in the oven, or cooking pasta. Way easy, and no more than 30 minutes from fridge to freezer. The only negative we've run into is that we keep forgetting to take the dinners out of the freezer to let them thaw the night before. (Not their fault...just a result of being busy and not thinking ahead!) We're about to sign up for our second session this week. I love not having to clean up, do prep work, etc...and I also love being able to customize the ingredients to what we like our food to taste like. Enjoy!
- Pros: Easy dinner prep, no cleanup!
- Cons: Limited menu, depending on your likes/dislikes.
Great for working moms

As a working mother, I have been so happy with The Dinner A'Fare. After working all day, it is so convenient to have a meal waiting for you in the refrigerator. There is a good variety of meal choices and the facility is impeccably clean.
Make a special dinner even after a hard day!

This is my first review but Dinner A'fare is worth the time! It is so easy, tasty, and convenient! Go on-line to look at the menus each month. I love the fact that the nutritional information is listed so you can count your calories easily. You can choose either 3 servings or 6 servings depending on your family size. The staff @ Northlake have been really helpful with a great attitude. It has usually taken me approximately 1.5 hours to put together 12 meals!
Makes dinner time SO much easier!

Dinner A'fare recently took over the My Girlfriend's Kitchen location at Northlake, and I have enjoyed their dinners just as much as MGFK. The entrees are creative (but not too much), and the ingredients are top quality. It's so easy to pull a ready-made meal from the fridge or freezer rather than cooking from scratch every night. I have two little boys, and some days are just too hectic to start dinner from scratch after a full day. Also, if you compare grocery costs to make these meals, it's cost-efficient making them at the Dinner A'fare. They can also make your meals for you, if you prefer. Try it!! You'll be so happy you did.
So easy

What a great idea for families that like to eat together, but can't afford to go out often, and rarely have the time to cook from scratch. It's simple to do. Choose the meals you want online, make an appointment and show up at the store. I like to assemble the meals myself; it gives me a hands on experience and I can at least claim some responsibility for them! If you really don't have time, the stand-in chefs will have everything ready to pick up and take home. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious; the monthly menus are very flexible and allow me to choose the things my family really likes. No wasted ingredients. I never miss a month.
- Pros: simple to prepare, very high quality, helpful staff
- Cons: maybe a little more expensive than grocery shopping but there's nothing wasted
Very Customer Focused. Better attention to detail than some other locations of this concept.
by BSTATL
Great concept and delivery. This location recently converted from another "kitchen" of similar design. I have been a customer of other Dinner A'Fare locations in the past two years and the Northlake concept combines the attention to detail that I liked in the East Cobb DAF and the proximity to my neighborhood, Druid Hills. This DAF now offers more wholesome and healthy alternatives such as whole grains pasta and buns, brown rice, etc. They also have some smart marketing events going on.....Mary Kay facials, massages, and discounts for booking future appointments.
- Pros: Attention to customers
