Great neighborhood bar
by WilliamsErin70 at Citysearch
On the weekends, the place can be a bit crazy, but the bartenders are friendly and the drinks are cheap and strong. They even have beer-pong! My new bar of choice!
$1 drafts all day, every day
by LisSaunders at Citysearch
This bar carries all the big sports packages, always $1 drafts, great food (try the Reuben!), and games... play beer pong or flip cup, darts or Golden Tee, and video trivia or poker! Say HI to Paudy, the resident Irishman behind the bar while you're there.
- Pros: $1 draft beers, beer pong/flip cup tables, digital jukebox,
- Cons: bar gets smoky, even during the day
Horrible service
by allyeisler at Citysearch
The only thing worse than the service was the bartender's breast augmentation. Assuming you can get served a drink, be prepared to order another because they skimp on the alcohol in mixed drinks. Horrible service, bad drinks, not worth the cover charge to enter.
- Cons: Service
Marcus makes the bar worthwhile!
by Simone84 at Citysearch
I have to say, this place changes based on who is bartending. On the weekends it feels like a club, or an extension of East Andrews. Sunday/Monday/Tuesday is the BEST time to go- and make sure to say HI to Marcus!!!
Unlike on the weekends, Marcus the bartender is the only one there on these other days (that I saw) and I didn't feel like there were frat boys breathing down my neck. He remembers your drink and your name as soon as you walk in, and usually has it ready for you before you sit down! I also like the way he can spin bottles if you want or just say HI if you don't.
Overall a nice bar/pub. OH and make sure to try the french fries dipped in RANCH sauce! I swear they make it out of cr@ck there, it is so good!.
=)
- Pros: Great staff, Tasty Food, Wide selection of beers
- Cons: Busy on Fri/Sat, Loud on Thursdays (softball team)
Smokey bar, Bad service
by Divachick22 at Citysearch
Wanting to try new things my girlfriends and I checked out Stout for lunch, and we were not impressed.. very small, smokey (i couldn't get the smell out of my jacket), and the place fell short on all levels.. The rueben sandwich was the highlight, but the services was downright bad and the bartender was more interested in the guys than the girls so it was a trip getting drinks. The parking was free, so that was the best thing about the place.. unfortunately, my slow service and lack of service helped me figure out that I won't be going back. Get some staff that focus on the customer and not giving away drinks to the locals.. Go to Fado instead.
- Cons: Bad service and food
Best Rueben I have ever had
by bravos001 at Citysearch
I work around the corner. A pretty girl came by from Stout, giving us a menu, and better yet a card to try a free lunch. We gave it a try. My friend had the Fish n Chips, and I had the Rueben, and both were amazing. Also, they had Chimay, a personal favorite for a Belgium Beer.
Food was great. (And only $6 for everything on the menu)
Great beer selection (my buddies were drinking $1 drafts, but I prefer the individual craft beers)
Great looking plasmas everywhere.
Stout, welcome to the neighborhood, i'll be back soon!
- Pros: Beer Selection, $1 Drafts, $6 Menu
- Cons: Limited Seating, busy
Get ready for guy overload, Buckhead. This Irish sports bar slings a near perfect combo of bangers n' mash and ESPN College Game Day.

In Short
As you would expect from a bar named after suds, the beer list is better than average--Beamish and Boddington's please the connoisseurs while those with a less sophisticated pallet can throw back Buds without embarrassment. Classed-up middle-agers mingle among floppy-haired frat guys and the choices on the jukebox reflect the crowd's variety. Taking a page out of the Fado-Euro-handbook, usual pub grub is spruced up with beer battered fish and chips, wings marinated in Irish whiskey, and standard bangers and mash. If the dartboards are busy traipse downstairs to the game room to find treasure trove of three pool tables, arcade games and the addictive Golden Tee. Weekends draw heavy crowds in the late evening, but weekdays can offer a place to play without the rush.
