Donnie Shaw has been my hairstylist for a few years now. When I came to Donnie my hair was over processed and damaged now it is healthy and fabulous. Donnie has a motto, he likes to maintain your hair so it looks great all the time without the "just had it done" look. Color Strands Studio has been a great addition for Donnie's clients.

I have been a client of Donnie’s 7 years now, and I will continue to be a client for as long as he dose hair ! My hair always turns out great, even when I switch colors or styles. I always look forward to my hair appointments and highly recommend Donnie to everyone I know.

I went to see DONNIE for the first time a few weeks ago. I was looking for something different but not drastic. I was really nervous but I felt at ease as soon as I sat in Donnie's chair. He took a lot of time to listen to me and gave me suggestions, which was very different from other salons I have been to. At the end of my visit I had beautiful blonde highlights that have lasted for weeks! I have had so many compliments on my hair and am excited to have FINALLY found a great hairstylist. I definitely recommend Donnie Shaw to all of my friends

i've had crazy curly hair all my life and have always been afraid to go anywhere and have my haircut. a good friend of mine recommended a stylist at Color Strands Studio by the name of Donnie. i set an appointment with him a few weeks ago and nervously went . He was immediately friendly and completely understood my concerns. he listened to my ideas and added his thoughts as well. when he started cutting i cringed because i was so nervous. i will say that after my hair was cut...i turned and looked into the mirror and was AMAZED. my hair had never looked so good and healthy. he knew exactly what i wanted and listened to every suggestion that i had. i can't say enough great things about Donnie and this salon. i have since recommended this stylist to EVERY friend of mine that i can. if you're looking for a great, personal cut, at a great price with people that actually give a damn about what your hair is going to look like. i can't recommend Color Strands Studio highly enough. THANKS Donnie!!!!

Pros: stylist personality, listened to suggestions, clean, friendly, inexpensive

Cons: a bit hard to get an appointment due to high demand

Thanks to a reccomendation to go see Donnie at Color Strands Studio, my hair trama is now over! Donnie did exactly what I wanted & I could not be happier! I've been all over Atlanta & spent tons of money & have always left the salon feeling cheated.Donnie is truly an amazing stylist! I now love my hair & will follow Donnie wherever he goes. Thank

Donnie rocks-pure and simple. I've sent 3 friends there since April and they all love Donnie . I had the best cut I've ever had in my 32 years of life by Donnie and just got a trim up last week. My hair looks like Rock Star hair or as she calls it "GIrl you could be on the cover of US Weekly now"-I feel like Donnie focus is on customer service and truly listen to his clients. I'll never go anywhere else.

Pros: Great cozy atmosphere, timely appointments, stylists that truly listen to their clients

Cons: Parking maybe? I honestly can't think of a true con

I knew my really long dark hair was in desperate need of an overhaul and it had been at least 10 years since I'd worn a shorter style. I was really nervous about making such a drastic change, not to mention so was my husband, so I took my time with research and came across Donnie's write-ups. Somehow reading other people's reviews about him gave me a sense of ease about making my appointment. I got there a few minutes early and Donnie took me right away. We talked about a photo I had which he gave his honest professional opinion that it wouldn't really work for my facial structure. So I listened to his describe something a little different that he assured me would look great. Well, let me tell you, it was an amazing transformation he did. I absolutely love the new style! It's hip, sophisticated, and very hot. My husband loves it and can't keep his eyes off me. Hats off to you Donnie, you definately overly exceeded my expectations. Thanks so much for a great new look!!! Keep up the great work!

Thank you Donnie very much!!! I love the enviroment of the salon it was comfortable. I liked how Donnie listen to what I wanted to do with my hair and how he made it look perfect! Not only did I get a fabulous hair cut, I also enjoyed myself as well as Donnie, who is a nice funny person to be around... Thanks again!!!!

I have been going to Donnie for a long time now and he is always consistent, on time, upbeat, and attentive. I can be pretty difficult sometimes but Donnie always treats me with the greatest kindness and patience, always making sure I am satisfied. I am very lucky to have such a talented stylist. If you are looking for a new stylist I wouldn't even consider going to anyone but Donnie!
