BEST SALON!!!!!!!!

Great experience, Porschia was amazing!! She gave me a great consultation and work right away on my hair giving a perfect relaxer! The deep moisturizing treatment and steam made my hair so luxurious and silky. I would definitely come here again! I received so much feedback on my hair afterwards. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a quality top notch hair studio!!!

professional yet warm vibes and contemporary decor

>>>as pic shows the decor is on point. they are currently remodeling adjacent boutique but the salon is not lacking. After speaking with Porschia over the phone about my concerns and apprehension in trying new salons she eased my tensions and i booked an appt for later in the afternoon.

>>>She was most professional, warm, friendly, and patient. She answered all of addtl questions with sound knowledge and patience. From wash to set it was a relaxing experience. (wash then steam condition, blowdry then iron press ($55)) I can't say how it would have been if the salon was busy, she doesn't strike me as a talker of trifling topics or actions of rowdy behavior. i believe the neighborhood (new Kirkwood) and salon's ambiance lends itself to a very nice low key experience. My hair is clean, conditioned, long and silky straight. I am definitely satisfied and will surely return.

Hopefully things don't change. the service remains. and of course the salon stays open. She reports they've been open 1+yrs.

Janice is the BEST Stylist in Atlanta!

I truly love how Janice takes care of my hair. I was referred to her through a friend and will continue to keep coming to her. She listens to how you want your hair and gets the styles right every time. I highly recommend Janice to everyone in the Atlanta area. She knows how to treat hair that's long, short, damaged or whatever. Check her out and get your hair looking right!!!

"Best Salon for All Hair Types"

Metro Salon is a hidden treasure of Kirkwood, and I am thankful that I could discover its value. The owner Javonna is a jewel and has a passion for making sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied including the children. The gift she brings to the shop tips the scale for professionalism, style,charisma, diversity, sensitivity, and leadership. The ambiance is environmental safe and the stylists are masters at nourishing and styling hair of all lengths and textures. My stylist of choice is Yolanda (Yogi), who listens and cares about the needs of my hair and my daughter's hair. She has taught us to care and protect our hair when we are away from the shop. I was blessed to have Yolanda when I entered the shop during my transition from perm to all natural. As you might image, I was struggling with the care of my hair and had tried other salons prior to Metro, but from the very first wash, steam conditioning, and conversation with Yolanda about what needed to be done, I knew I would come back again and again. The results from the natural products are unbelievable, but I must confess it required some commitment on my part as well, and I am glad I made the change. I encourage you to seek out Metro and Yolanda for hair nourishment, and you will be delighted you did.

Great salon and great stylist named Janice!!

This salon is very nice and has great prices. I went on there makeover Friday where there is a makeup artist and complimentary drinks served as a part of your service. There is a stylist named Janice who is really professional and most of all is really great with total haircare. She has made my hair stop breaking since I have seen her and she cut my hair beautifully as well. I would highly recommend her if you want a beautiful head full of hair!

Great Stylist Named Porschia!

I have very thick and long hair and usually have been to stylists that want to take short cuts when styling my hair or who have me in the salon for hours. I went to Porschia at Metro Salon Studio and she was the best! I loved her professionalism and her great customer service. Though she had another client she managed to get me in and out in a good time frame. She took care of all my hair needs. The salon also has an ambiance that makes you feel relaxed and at ease. Prices for services are very reasonable. When I left the salon I loved the way my hair looked and felt. I was getting compliments from co-workers the next day! I will definately recommend PORSCHIA and I will become a permanent client of hers. She is a great stylist. Thanks to Porschia at Metro Salon Studio!

Great salon that provides qualtiy haircare for natural/ relaxed hair and affordable!

I am very pleased with this salon! The prices are very affordable and I love the ambience of this salon. I would like to thank Yolanda (one of the stylists) and the owner for making my experience enjoyable. I enjoy the small contemporary and quiet atmosphere. It makes me happy to feel good that I can get quality haircare for a very affordable price. I am happy I discovered this salon online and know that I have a stylist who truly cares about my hair. I just hope they update their hours and let customers know their specific hours. A customer like me has been looking for a salon where I can feel comfortable. I am very happy with the health of my hair and I can honestly say that this salon has been a superb one in my experiences!!!
