Healthy cocktails are all the rage now, and Room has definitely capitalized on it! The Carrot Gingerini and Cucumber Mintini are so refreshing, and you can definitely taste the veggie freshness. The bartenders are really friendly and make sure each drink is made to perfection. Definitely a great place to bring your girlfriends for some healthy and delicious cocktails!

My husband and I have been to Lobby (which we enjoyed greatly) and were eager to try Room. We could not have been further from disappointed- it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. We had both sushi and steak (petite filet) and both were off the charts. I was never a fan of sushi but after eating theirs, I've been craving it and am dying to go back.

This may very well be th worst food and service in Atlanta. We went about a week ago. the first thing i will warn you about is a majority of the plated are laced with bacon and fennel. I like bacon and fennel, but every dish? it was absurd. This is the perfect example of BAD hotel food. our Server Andrew didn't seem to have a clue about the menu, i always wonder how these peolpe get to be the faces of the restaurant if they don't know anything about the menu. We saw Andrew maybe twice the whole meal and that was just to pour our wine. he poured out a whole bottle on the first pour for our group of four. he only came back to try and sell us more wine. we will never go back.

Pros: nothing

Cons: bad service, uninspired food, downtown

Was looking to try a new restaurant for cocktails and appetizers. We found off street parking across the way and walked up to the building and luckily for some helpful employees found an entrance into the restaurant. We entered through the dining area and sushi bar on our way to the main bar. The crowd was definitely touristy but that's to be expected for a downtown location in a hotel. The decor is sleek and minimalist with dark tones. Seating at the bar was rather uncomfortable due to the low backs on the stools and the odd lights which shine straight down on your head. We were still able to enjoy ourselves as their cocktail list is fun and though the menu is limited we were able to find a few tasty options. Nothing stands out as exceptional but all are a touch above average including the prices. Can not comment on the sushi. Would not recommend this place as a destination but if you happen upon this restaurant it wouldn't be a disappointment.

Pros: new spot for fun cocktails

Cons: touristy, limited menu, $$$

My parents and I made the decision to go out for a Christmas dinner. Room at Twelve was one of the restaurants open for the day. We were excited about trying a new restaurant. The website informed us they would be serving a 'traditional' christmas dinner which was what we looking for today. The salad area and the seafood was excellent (beet salad, shrimp, shrimp salad, smoked mussels, and stone crab claws). The prime rib and ham was dry, tough and disappointing. We tried the prime rib from two different roasts that they prepared. The side dishes (sour cream mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and mac/cheese) were very good. The sweet potatoes had a nice maple syrup flavoring and the mac/cheese had a breadcrumb topping. By the time we got to the dessert table, they had run out of the initial desserts (which had labels) and started serving substitutes which weren't labeled. Only one dessert from the website menus was served. The white chocolate mousse with cherries and raspberries was excellent. The service from our waiter was very disappointing. I asked about a specific white wine and he couldn't tell me anything about the wine. We have very limited interaction with our waiter because he found another table he was waiting on more interesting. He carried on a 20 min conversation with that table about his personal life while his other tables waited for water to be refill, plates to be clear and to receive customer service ( our candle had been burned out, my father had to ask our waiter to bring a new candle). When we received the bill, the restaurant had included a 20% gratuity which with the lack of customer service we received from our waiter was asking a lot but I know the gratuity goes to other individuals of the staff (other waiters/waitresses and wait staff) who did come over and check on us. I spoke one of the managers as we left and was told that this was their second buffet. I hope anyone joining them for their New Years buffet has a better experience.

Room at TWELVE is my favorite downtown restaurant. The sushi melted in my mouth, and the cowboy ribeye was one of the best pieces of meat I’ve ever eaten in my life. As if great steak and sushi weren’t enough, their cocktails are awesome. Definitely try the carrot gingerini – you can’t go wrong!

Pros: great combo of steaks and sushi, unique bar area

Last week, taking a break from my showroom at the AmericasMart, it was out to the street, being Peachtree, for lunch. And I wanted something different. I just remembered about the opening of Twelve Centennial Park Hotel, and their dining room, Room! I must say, walking into that lobby, is like walking into the now 21st.century. Love the cool, contemporary design, and mood elevating art work. Being alone, I opted to sit at the bar for lunch. I've done this several times at Lobby @ Twelve. But Room @ Twelve, has a whole different vibe. Much more sophisticated and subdued. The personable bartender, was more than eager to please, after being open just a a couple of days. Room is mainly a Steakhouse/Sushi Bar, for dinner, and a lighter menu for lunch. The Shrimp Chowder, had my name on it, this early Fall Day. I ordered a wonderful California Roll, and my fave dirty Grey Martini. The Martini, was more than perfect. But alas, the poor bartender, said no Shrimp Chowder yet. Well, they are new, but I wanted that Chowder. So I added a nice Grilled Waldorf Salad, that put me in the mood for Thanksgiving. And I was thankful, for this delightful lunch. I will be back for that Shrimp Chowder, and for dinner also. Super service!

Pros: Excellent Hip Lunch & A Great Martini! Service Was Outstanding!

Cons: No Shrimp Chowder, I Will Be Back!
