God Awful Customer Service
by gaeats
I arrived at Beleza 5 minutes before it open and was told to wait outside by the Bartender. Although their doors were open, and there were others (non employees) standing inside talking, laughing and having a jolly old time. No problem, I understand an establishments hours.
As I'm waiting outside one of the Beleza employees came outside and got me in a very apologetic manner and asked me to have a seat anywhere I'd like in the location.
Once I was seated (4 minutes later during serving hours). I had to walk up and asked for my order to be taken. And then I had to walk up for a 2nd time and asked to place my dessert order. I had to get the waitress's attention to pay.
I had the Shrimp Moqueca, and a dessert. The Shrimp Moqueca was good, but the dessert was not so hot.
I give the guy who came out and got me off the sidewalk 5 stars for doing his part for customer service.
But that one guy's efforts didn't over ride my total experience with Beleza. It's no way I will go back there. There are other restaurants with in walking distance (of Beleza) with better food, lower prices and customer oriented employees.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Customer Service
Lounge Lizard Hot Spot
by KeithKNOWS
After an evening of groundbreaking performances by the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, my guests and I decided to dine out at a nearby restaurant, of course, most of the restaurant closed at 11pm, next choice a lounge/bar, we decided on BELEZA (means Beauty) on Juniper in Midtown. BELEZA Restaurant & Lounge is a trendy hotspot in Midtown known for its Brazilian flair small plates, creative cocktails, incorporating local and organic ingredients. As we entered the door, we were greeted by a friendly host, who escorted us quickly to our table. Bossa Nova, global beats filled the air, as we swayed back n forth in our plush, comfortable chairs. Its a really cute, well designed..a bit small, however, cozy place to hang out with friends, grab a drink, a quick bite before or after the theatre. My guests and I, were starved, we decided on the same dish, Moqueca(Bahian Seafood stew, organic coconut milk, organic extra virgin olive oil, Mologueta peppers, cilantro, cashews) it was very good. To quench our thirst, we decided on a brazilian natural soda(Elderflower with lemon). I must admit, I visited Beleza on Friday also, where I devoured their Acai Sorbet topped with granola, fresh blueberries, and bananas. If you dig creative cocktails, small plates, funky entertainment on the weekend, Beleza is the place to be! Its sister restaurant is Cuerno which is next door, it features Flamenco dancing on Sunday and authentic Spanish tapas. Whatever you decide, youll enjoy every moment, minute, hour.
- Pros: networking, good music, creative menu

A Great Time
by rph54321
Had a great time here. Beleza has a fantastic cocktail list unlike anything else you will find in the city with fresh, exotic ingredients. Very hip atmosphere, excellent tapas and deserts rounded out a fantastic evening. Great place to go if you are ready to break out of the mold of your dining routine.
Difficult to rate when the food comes from next door

Visited Beleza for dinner the week before Christmas--we were looking forward to trying this style of Brazilian food. Apparently the chef was on Christmas vacation and we were told that the food would be coming from Cuerno, a sister restaurant, next door. We've eaten at Cuerno a couple of times and like it, but we don't typically go to a restaurant to eat the food from next door. We were disappointed that Beleza didn't inform us about the situation when we made our reservation a few days beforehand (and are surprised that only one person is able to prepare the food at this place). The service was decent, but the ambiance was very lounge-like with loud club music playing. The food may be great, but based on our experience and the overall atmosphere, we won't be back to try it.
- Pros: great drinks
- Cons: club-like atmosphere, they weren't serving their own food the night we went
Lovely place. We'll be back!

First thing I want to say is that I have massive respect for a restaurant that serves all organic and vegan friendly food. They have a wide range of choices to satisfy any palette. The food presentation is beautiful and the restaurant's atmosphere: classy yet comfortable. A great date place. The pricing is definitely reasonable considering the quality of food.
I'm looking forward to my next trip so I can try the other things on the menu. Everything looked so good; it was hard to make a decision!
Ps. I went here with my girlfriend and her parents who don't normally eat a lot of organic food, and they left the restaurant very impressed and wanting to try more organic and vegan foods!
- Pros: quality of food
- Cons: it opens late.
THE WORST & RUDEST SERVICE IN ATL
by aabbcc12345678
Upon arrival I decided to order a drink. Beside the fact that the bartenders were not busy and confused on who was going to make my drink. They did not seem very happy with this world which made me feel awkward on paying for a 10 dollar drink. When i became interested on how long two very unbusy bartenders were taking to make my drinks the girl making my drink told me to shut up in spanish. I soon realized why no one was in there. The drinks were good but they got them wrong. On top of them cusing and being very rude to us they charged us for drinks we did not have and when we questioned the charge they cursed at us again. Basically i will never go back and I will tell everyone i Know never to go there. I am so upset if I were amazingly rich I would buy billboard space to advertise how bad this place really was. I started to feel bad that the owner had a staff that does not care about their job, but that just shows how dumb they are for hiring the worst staff known to man. This is the first time i have ever written a review on a restaurant thats how bad it sucked. (the red head knows spanish BEWARE) (and dude with the weird eyes) is A body guard for OBAMA so do not mention Mccain or you will get cursed at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: servers, they will curse at you, tell you to shut up, & make you pay for extra drink that you didnt order!
A real Mix- Culture Midtown restaurant.
by shuhaichan
An excellent evening of great, tasty "petit plate" and very creative, exotic drinks that you can't resist. Beleza is so passionate and at the same time full with irresistible smell of great food and amazing deserts.
It's charm brings wonderful and beautiful people from everywhere filling it up with sensation. The music is multi-culture and flows with the rhythm of the night. I can say a million great things about "BELEZA", but I think you should take "un petit tour" yourself and feel the excitement you will always remember.
- Pros: Parking, Ambience and Service
This place needs to make some decisions!
by uberspoons
If you want a cocktail, go here. It has a great bar with a very knowledgeable mixologist. But if you want to eat...ugh! First of all, our server was rather rude and not really interested in doing her job. The tables are on top of each other. It's not really Brazilian food. While the ingredients were fresh, the place felt like it was doing something different than the way the place was advertised. Seriously, the cocktails/tapas combo is nice, but this place needs to stop pretending it's a restaurant, open itself up, and use small tables to increase space and intimacy instead of the dumb wall in the back corner and the giant tables in the front of the house.s
The Mixologist.
by wrightone1
The drinks at Beleza are truly amazing. The "mixologist" is definitely a master at his work. I had no idea that alcohol could actually taste good and still be able to be potent. The food has a little less substance than I hoped for, but I guess it helped with the potency of the drinks. I would definitely go back... And dont forget to tip your valets!
