Do not waste your money on poor customer service
by jaijones at Citysearch
First, I think all people should realize just because you have the money to own a business doesn't necessairly mean you need to. Owner was one of the nastiest coniving person I ever met in my life. I hosted a spa party there and no one greeted my guest, or try to make them feel comfortable or welcome. Then when I got there she saw me bringing decorations in and I had to go greet her. She left during the party and whisper something in the young lady ear. When I was ready to check out she charged me an extra 165.00 and could not explain where it came from. My guest asked questions about the different services and she told them to look on the internet to see how the procedures were done. I will never spend my money here again.
- Pros: Nice Decor and Nail techs
- Cons: Owner and front desk are unprofessional. Beware of Salam
rude, stuck up management

I've been to Polished several times now and every single time the front desk staff greets me with a stuck-up attitude and they seem put out that I didn't make appointments (I always went during the weekday). I have waited over an hour before, even during the week when the place was not busy. I don't recall ever seeing the manager or front desk staff smile or ask how my services were going - they certainly NEVER apologized for my wait and every time I've gone, I've had to wait. Once they suggested I walk around to the various shops while I waited so I did. I came back about 10 minutes later than they suggested and they actually put me BACK at the bottom of the list. I told the lady that I was never coming back b/c I didn't think that was fair and she just looked at me, square in the face. No comment, nothing. So I said "okay, this is me leaving.." and I gave her one more moment to make things right and she just stood there. It's too bad that those girls who are in the SERVICE industry don't care about providing good service. I will never go back. Unless of course I saw an "Under New Management" sign on the front door.
- Pros: pretty facility; trained nail techs
- Cons: RUDE management; LONG wait times
Upscale Nail SPA? NOT!!!
by customerrsat at Citysearch
Well, where do i begin. let me start off by saying the decor is beautiful, thats what the one star is for. This was my first time here and a friend reccomended polished to me she told me to ask for a technician by the name of Candice who they said would be there when i scheduled my appointment and wasnt there when i got there. someone else performed my services, which to me, were long and drawn out... not relaxing< more like aggravating because two other people were started after me and the still left more than a half hour before i did. i was there for two hours, only to get a basic manicure, and a basic pedicure ($40). it seemed like the technician didnt know what she was doing. very unorganized. Between the phone ringing and the nail tech taking forever to do a simple pedicure and manicure, i was uneasy and on edge by the time i left. on top of the fact that i could have done a better job myself. OH YEAH, im not exactly sure if this was the owner, but the person who seemed to be in charge was rude and only spoke to i guess frequent clientel (because she knew them by name), She never even asked me if i enjoyed my services . ive been much happier at less prettier places. take it from me, if you wanna splurge on a mani pedi, do it at a REAL spa, because this is merely your everyday nail shop in disguise. Totally NOT worth it.
- Pros: Very pretty
- Cons: unskilled nail techs, rude management

Atmosphere was very cute and thought it would be a great place to have girls' night - they have a special Martini Night on Thurs. They weren't very professional from appt. setting to greeting upon arrival. When I got there I had to wait and they did not offer me anything to sip on while I waited, even after they told me to come a little early and have a cocktail. I had a manicure and it wasn't very good. She asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said a little and she cut them super short. They don't have nail dryers, just small little fans. No good - my polish chipped off in 3 days. My cuticles are all peeling back and my hands look awful. I wouldn't suggeest this place to anyone.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Bad service & Manicures
Terrible Service
by Atlantagrl at Citysearch
A friend recommended that a group of us for a wedding party go to Polished for pedicures. We made appointments for 4 people. When we got there we made us wait 20 minutes because the employees had not arrived yet. When they finally sat us, they only had 3 people working on us. The fourth person in our party had to wait while the woman doing my pedicure rushed through it in 20 minutes to then work on my friend's feet. When my sister sat in the chair, a sharp plastic piece in the tub cut her leg about 4 inches and she started bleeding into the water. They merely drained out the water and glued down the plastic piece in the tub...never apologizing. They charged her for her pedicure and a mandatory 20% tip on top of that! They had a fourth employee working that day, but she was working on another person that came in after us. They then had the nerve to charge all of us a mandatory 20% gratuity for a 20 minute pedicure! Although it appears to be really trendy by its website and the salon's decor, the service is terrible, the people were rude, and I've had MUCH better pedicures in Atlanta/Vinings for a cheaper price. I recommend that you go some place else!
- Cons: Rude service, did not have spa tubs, rushed pedicures, expensive
Not worth the money...Polished Beauty lounge

This place was terrible! The atmosphere is great but the service is far below standards. The bowls are odd shaped and didn?t have enough room. The employees are not friendly and kept on rushing me the entire time. I have seen and used other nail spas that are equally nice in presentation but also better in service. I care more about what I get for my money?not about the wall decor!
- Pros: Atmosphere
- Cons: everything else
Clean but lacking good massage and attention to detail
by atl2008 at Citysearch
Went with girlfriends and liked the decor but the mani/pedi was lacking in attention to detail. All of my girlfriends said that they didn't get much of a massage at all on either legs or arms/hands. My technician didn't clean cuticles very well and seemed like she didn't want to be there (and used my file to file her own nails while I was up washing my hands! She needed to get rid of her gum too....). The pedi bowls are too small and odd shaped.... they looked good but weren't conducive to a good soak. My technician told me specifically that I had to keep my feet to the sides so that I didn't press on the drain and let the water out. If you want a nice massage and really good cuticle trimming don't go here.... go to the place down the street with a little less decor but better and more affordable service.
- Pros: Decor, clean
- Cons: Pitiful massage, attention to detail, value
