UNBELIEVABLE aveda SALON!!! Loved it!

I used to be a client at james holden salon and sadly they have closed. But I wanted my friends and other clients from jh to know I tried an unbelievable new place called Revival Salon on main street! They have the coolest, most knowledgable, staff and are an aveda salon! Finally got rid of the brassy-ness in my hilites and I saw some extensions that blew me away. Tell santa I want extensions for christmas! Meme, you've gotta try this place.

• Pros: reasonable, friendly, hot decor,LOVED my color & cut
• Cons: closed on Monday - my day off

Worst color ever

I also went there after my stylist sonya left.They sent me a one time only discount that by the way now I get every week for 40% off a service.I had to go back to have sonya fix. I will never cheat on her again. It is not worth any discount to have your hair jacked up.The place was once really nice but there has been 8 or 9 stylist leave that place in the last 2 years.i feel bad for the owner, 3 stylist has left in 3 months so now there is a new staff that is not very good.If you want great hair go see sonya at bella vita just right down the road,

Loved Nena

I used to be a client at james holden for a year or so.I loved mt hairdresser Nena.unfortunately shels no longer there.I went back and tried another stylist.I've never looked so bad in all my life.the guy took forever to cut my hair.there was an obvious language barrier.he didn't understand what I wanted and did a horrible job,the 20% off discount want worth it.I tried another local salon on main st in old toen suwanee,and guess who I found Nena!I couldn't believe how small suwanee is.if you look around you find what you were missing...Nena...am much happier now thank you Nena,revival hair salon!

Gone somewhere else... Very dissapointing

Unfortunately I've had to change my review from positive to negative. After my stylist left (Nena), I tried to stay with James Holden. My first time with a new person my hair was FRIED. My hair has never been in such horrible condition! Falling out, breaking off, looks & feels like straw!!

Yet, silly me, I tried to give James Holden yet another chance by trying someone else, but when I called, the owner Rob refused to put me in someone else's chair. When I explained I'd received 2nd and 3rd opinions about what fried my hair, he took no responsibility, blamed it on my 10 years of bleaching and flat ironing my hair and put me on an eternal "hold" to answer another call after I told him it's either me see someone else at his salon or go to a different one entirely. Very disappointing! Luckily, I've found an amazing salon right down the road, and after almost 6 months of having to continuously chop my hair to get all the fried stuff off, it's almost back to normal and healthy. Very Bad Business Practice. Will not return.

• Cons: My hair fell out & broke off an Inch from my scalp!

Greatest All Around Experience

I love this salon it had such a nice and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in the door! I had a color, cut, and eyebrow waxing done with Stella and she was awesome. She was great and listened to everything that I wanted. In talking with her I learned that she has over 20 years experience in the business and that was comforting to know that I had a real professional doing my hair. I'm so happy that I found such a great place!

I love my color.Love my haircut, highly recomend it to anybody. The place is set up to be warm and inviting. Very relaxing, and I look and feel great when I leave!!!Check Nena out

I have been looking for a salon to go to near my house in Suwanee and James Holden is the winner!!!! I love the service and the friendly environment. I would recommend everyone to go to this salon.

A Class Act Salon!

This salon is excellent. Glad we finally have a top-notch salon near so I don't have to drive down to Buckhead any more. I go once a month for cuts and colors and my stylist is the best having been in the business for 20 years in New York. She does an excellent job and I look forward to going in to the James Holden Salon. The people are very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is classy and extremely clean. I believe their services to be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!
