Here to Serve took the old Seeger space and didn't spend a dime on it at all. It was always a drab, stuffy space, but Seeger knew how to cook. Posh touts that "Tom Catherall is back in the kitchen". Well, on opening weekend, he was NOT there at all (and this was Saturday night). And if he developed the poor recipes, he has lost his touch and should stay OUT of the kitchen from now on. The inept server lied about the quality and size of the fois gras, which was miniscule, served cold (and this was seared fois gras!), and amazingly overpriced at $22. It's now off the menu. The $30 halibut served was exactly the same as the portion sold at Goldfish for $18 and smaller, more like the $13.95 lunch portion. The remainder of the food and dessert and service was poor. And after writing the management (you, David) about it, they refused to do anything to compensate. We are just waiting for Posh to close it's doors. In a town with so much good food, this thing won't last. Posh does in no way live up to its pretentious name.
