Not Trustworthy

Some time ago I went in to buy a gift certificate for my wife. They poured tea for me, showed me the premises and sold me on buying a gift certificate for a massage and a manicure.

Now that my wife has finally decided to use it, they have pointed to the expiration date and refuse to honor it for its full value. To begin with, when I bought it they never said that it had to be used within 12 months.

What's really upsetting is that the purchase is still clearly in their computer system. They know perfectly well that they sold the cert to me. They just refuse to honor it ... and I live literally across the street from Om Magie.

So much for good neighbors. Go somewhere else.

i absolutely love this place, the staff is soooooo friendly and they give the best deep tissue massageds ever! And to top things off they just started their wellness program with yoga and pilates AND personal training! cant wait to go back!

My FAV Spa

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Spa Om Magie, I've been for the past two years for my birthday. I get the day trip and enjoy every minute of it. Last year my car was hit in the parking lot right before my appointement causing me to be over an hour late, Magie and her staff were wonderful, they checked on me in the parking lot to make sure things were okay and I was still alotted the full time for all my services. This year I felt like a pampered princess, everyone was friendly and helpful and made my birthday an awesome day. Lady worked magic on my eyebrows...they look absolutely amazing. I've been to other spas and they dont compare to Om Magie, I make sure to tell all my friends about this place

Great for girls night out

I planned a Spa Day for my professional/social group in my school. The owner was more than helpful. Knowing that we were busy students, she worked with me on planning it for weeks and she also gave us some refreshment when we arrived. Everybody had a great time. Some of us were never been to a spa before and they loved it. I had a mini-facial that day. It was only 30 minutes but so relaxed that I was about to fall asleep. I haven't got a chance to go back but I want to get the facial again.

Don't waste your Money.

I was very disappointed especially after all the hype and reviews. I have been to dozens of different spas to get massaged and this "spa" is probably the worst experience yet. From the sitting in the dirty waiting room to the lack of service and the loud and inappropriate staff laughing and carrying on in the back room it felt very juvenile. Like someone decided they wanted to open a "spa" then hired anyone who applied for a job. Very disappointed with the massage. Weak, greasy and rushed. There was nothing professional about it. I don't even know if the therapist when to school?? seriously I could go on but the short of it is - Don't waste your money. The other reviews are probably friends of the owner. This place was bad.

Absolutely Love this Place!!

My husband originally surprised me with a day to the spa for valentines day 02/14/09!! I just fell in love with this place the setting is soo pretty makes you feel relaxed and welcomed!! I've been to many spas before and have never exeperienced this type of customer service everybody was soooo friendly and welcoming!! I haven't been to another spa ever since. I live an hour and 15 mins away it is sooo worth the drive!! I recommend Ms. Ginger for facials the sweetest lady you will ever meet and Ms. Genie for massages lady can work some magic on your back!!! On your birthday they send you a gift certificate to use towards your next service have never been to a spa that will do that for you! The service is well worth every dollar and cent spent!! I highly recommend this spa!!!

favorite place in ATL..

I absolutely love Spa Om Magie, it is my favorite place to visit on Sundays in ATL. My wife and I go for our couples massage and then get our facials and detox footbaths. She ends with a Pedi/Mani and I end with a glass of refreshing cucumber infused water, reading a collection of wonderful books and magazines that Magie, the owner leaves for us in her waiting area. The decor is so exotic; I feel I am waiting in a 5star hotel in Morocco!!! Thank you to Magie and the whole staff for outstanding service and wonderful treatments and using the best products.
