My sister and I found this place through a referral from a friend and have both been in for treatments with different estheticians. Melissa and Frances are both fun, knowledgeable and have great hands. My face always feels good and rarely even looks flushed after a treatment here. No stuffy people here like some other spas. I highly recommend services from any person on this team.

Pros: Peaceful location, great staff

Cons: Can be pricey, but worth it if you are serious about skin care

I just saw Melissa for a facial at the Sandy Springs Derma-Luxe location, and WOW! This girl knows her stuff! I was referred to her by the Doctor who injects my Botox. She was very knowledgeable about products and facial treatments. Not only does my skin look great, but I was so relaxed after my facial. It's the best of both worlds at this place. I will definitely go back.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere

I have dealt with my problem skin since I can remember. My doctor visits always seemed promising but after using prescriptions that never worked I sought out for a different approach in the world of aesthetics. I started to see Frances after working with her and listening to how much passion she had for skin and knowing I could put all my trust in her. I am now a licensed aesthetician, although not practicing, and would NEVER stray from Frances because I know she completely understands my skin and how to treat it, a first EVER! For the first time I get complements on my skin daily!! I never thought I would hear such a thing, wondering if they are really talking to me!

Turning thirty was kind of a big deal for me last year...mainly because I felt that I hadn't quite gotten a grip on a few things, like my problem skin. Through my twenties I had tried many over the counter products for my acne and scarring, but nothing seemed to work. The week of my birthday, I decided to finally treat myself to a professional consultation, which is how I met Frances, my hero. Her interest in my skin amazed me. She took the time to educate me on not only their services, but on how to care for and improve my skin's condition. She clearly has a passion for her work and has made me actually look forward to my visits over the past year. I've come a long way and have witnessed my skin completely turn around...Just the idea of no longer having to wear heavy make up makes me feel better and has given me relief on 'getting older'. Frances's genuine support and level of understanding makes me comfortable highly recommending her to other African Americans who are seeking quality skin care. Furthermore, the opportunity to indulge in the Derma-Luxe experience has been rewarding and is truly something to celebrate.

I have found the esthetician of my dreams. I visited Derma-Luxe and had the Ultimate Facial from April and I have to say the word ultimate could not sum up my experience any better. April was obviously very skilled and made my skin look beautiful. She was informative and I have booked appointments with her for the next six months. A facial from April is a must have for anybody who cares about serious skin care.

My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas and I finally got around to using it last weekend. I was throroughly impressed with the entire service expierence. The space was beautifully decorated and peacefull, the front desk was very friendly and my facial with Frances was by far the best I've ever had. She actually took the time to explain to me the cause/effect of my particular problems and concerns instead of assuming it was too over my head.

I have been going to skin care specialists for over 10 years now. I have always had acne issues and tried birth control pills, other dermatological presciptions and products, but the best results I have always received have been from aesticians. When I enter the spa, I am always welcomed to a calm and serene environment. My aestician, Frances Howse, greets me and I am escorted to a room with a plush robe. After changing, the facial begins. For over a year I have been a client of Frances' and she is amazing! I typically have a facial with microdermabrasion. All machines and equipment at this spa are new and top of the line. I have never been disappointed with my results. Because of Frances' skin care solutions in her facials and the products (which she does not push or force me to purchase), my skin has been able to maintain consistency in little or no acne (which is really good for my skin). I know if I did not regularly see Frances, that my skin would begin to show signs of increased acne production. I k now because I have experienced it first hand. For each appointment, Frances looks to see what she previously used on my skin and makes small adjustments in my service to ensure the best results are achieved. She is a funny and caring individual and from the first time I met with her, she is easy to talk to (if you like to do that during your sessions). Frances is the reason I drive 30 minutes to my facial appointments and I am not disappointed.

I live in Duluth Ga and there are 20 spas in a 10 mile radius, I think I have been to them all. I am a swim instructor and spend most of the spring and summer in the sun, needless to say I have serious skin issues and it is very important to me to keep my skin in great shape, despite my profession. It was by accident that I found Frances Howse or as I like to say; a gift from above. that's why I travel from Duluth to Sandy Springs. Since turning my face over to her I have noticed remarkable improvements in both the appearance and texture of my skin. Frances knows her stuff and her recommendations have always worked. Every other so called skin expert I've ever been to, has tried to sell me treatments that were unnecessary for me or tried to talk me into products that I would never use. Frances always tells it straight, never tries to "up sell" me or take advantage of my lack of skincare knowledge. Just the opposite, she goes 110% to make sure that I am always satisfied with my treatments She has taken the time to educate me about skin care and the proper sunscreens to use that will not irritate my skin or break it out. It doesn't hurt that she is bright, funny, entertaining and very charming. I don't know what my face would do without her. I actually look forward to my appointments; it's not only the most relaxing hour of my month it's also the most enjoyable. If you want a great facial, in a beautiful, peaceful environment, make Frances a part of your skincare regiment. You wouldn't regret it, in fact you'll be thanking me for turning you on to her.
