Great movie for kids and adults who remember the cartoon. The movie had a great story line, good acting and great special effects. Not much fighting except during the driving scenes and a lot of the story was kept simple for young kids to follow. I would have liked more interaction between speed racer and his girl friend, but that's because I'm an adult. Some parts were goofy with the youngest brother and the monkey, but again that's more for young kids. Taking that into account, I definitely would recommend it for anyone who has kids. Thoroughly entertaining.
Pros: Entertaining, Special effects, action-packed
Cons: Certain parts of the movie were silly, and not enough romance
