Grown-n-Sexy 101...

I actually enjoyed Mbar. Me and sum friends went here a birthday party... the staff is really nice and helpful...The management is real cool and down-to-earth. My friends said the food was really good and the drinks are good as well. They have drink specials eevry nite.... The only thing about it is...its kinda small... The vip area in the back is the biggest area of the lounge... its very chic and intimate... The white leather seats are very nice and comfy!!!

The Scene
One letter says it all at "M" which could stand for the intoxicatingly drinks--martinis, margaritas, mojitos and mimosas. Muted walls with flat-screens flash vivid scenes from around the world. A short hallway separates the glass-walled front bar from the classy back bar with white leather couches and cozy, candlelit tables that converts to a secluded VIP lounge when local celebs show up for a nightcap.The mod spot, just south of downtown, boasts an air of sophistication with fresh flowers, artwork and museum-style displays showcasing Courvoisier while fresh flowers. The sleek feel of the scene and the crowd makes for a refreshing change from the traditional tavern. The innovative bar menu concept uses the city's rapid transit MARTA map to highlight its savory concoctions. Finally, "M" could represent the music--DJ sounds on select nights and cool jazz during the week.

Urban chic lounge, not club

M Bar does a great job at being a hot spot that's cool enough to hang out at but not the monotonous club scene. Not to mention that their turkey burger sliders are the best in town. Great ambiance and cool crowd.

The decision's up to you!

This bar is really nice but small. I went on a sunday about 08:00 pm, it was dead, and about 09:00 pm, it did start getting a little crowded. It is nice for socializing. The drinks are good but be ready to pay a good grip for those. I took an out of town guest and they enjoyed it. They had a back room available but didn't open that up to everyone to enjoy, so everyone was confined to the front area. Therefore, you don't get exposed to the entire facility. It's not a bad bar but not a great one either. However, if you want a social lounge, my guest and I were able to hear ourselves and enjoy good conversations. The service was really good and our waitress was very helpful and attentive the whole evening. On this venue you will have to go and make the decision for yourself. It's up to you!

Mbar....a good look

This spot is definitely a good look for the Castleberry area. The staff is always friendly...especially the

bartenders! I've been a few times and the food and drinks are always great. The Djs on friday and saturday nights make the experience that much better. The managers are involved and friendly, always checking on the guests to make sure they are ok. My friends and I go out alot and are often disappointed by our experiences but that has never been the case at MBAR!! Keep up the good work

Improved Service!

I have always thought M Bar was a really cool (and se xy) neighborhood bar but I wasn't too pleased with the staff before now. Nobody ever seemed happy to be at work, even though the actual bartending is always pretty good. Anyways, last time I went I noticed a BIG change in the staff, especially noticeably more positive attitudes and willingness to make folks happy. The food was also really good compared to the other time I ate there. My friends even told me that they noticed a difference.

Excellent Customer Service, and Very Chic

When i first arrived to mabr the door was opened for us and we were seated immediately and the server was very prompt in catering to our dining needs. The servers went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. In addition she was very personable and friendly. I was most impressed with the fact the we were all treated as VIP guests and the food was amazing. The decor was flawless, and the music was very appropriate for the vibe. Overall i had a great experience i will make this a weekly venue for me and my crew to visit.

Nice lounge

I am still on the fence about M Bar. Depending on the day, you may find the well-dressed after work crowd or people going out for a drink before going to the club. On another day you can find a mixed crowd that consists of people in white tees/black tees/red tees (you get the point) ,others who are very casually dressed, and well dressed people. Wednesday is a great night to go for an after work wind-down. My observation tells me that M Bar is a place that you can go to just for a drink or a place you can go to to meet the opposite gender.

pretty bar but boring atmosphere

I was excited to go to a new pretty bar but when we arrived, I was so sad. I have never seen so many people bored out of their minds. Zombie like crowds and ok service doesn't quite entice me enough to go back. :(

Martinis & Mojitos!

This is hidden gem, but not for too long. Once people experience the Mbar, they definitely come back and bring their friends. The cocktails are great, The Bartenders are EXCELLENT, the food (small menu) but Delicious!

Definitely a spot those coming to visit Atlanta, and those who live in Atlanta should check out. Its a nice change from the sleazy club scene!
