Overpriced Food

I have been there so many times, although the food is Ok. The princing is ridiculous. There are a few more Cariebean Resturaunts in the area (Buckhead) that charge considerably less. $18 for a spoon full of food. They should be ashamed of there selves. I have told a few people I know not to go there anymore and to go to another Cariebean Place with SAME great food Less $$. I think we should protest the pricing of this restuaunrt.
- Pros: food is OK, service is OK
- Cons: Price, food is only average for the price you pay

Nice to see a Caribbean restaurant with a twist and yet traditional flavor you love. Nice neighborhood spot and atmosphere. Sweet fried plantains on the menu!
- Pros: plantains
AWESOME FOOD

Best lemon-pepper wings anywhere on the planet. And the basic j erk (weird censor) chicken plate with the "slaw" is fantastic as well. They serve a big appetizer sampler plate which is easily enough to feed two big men and has all kinds of good stuff. And you can get it half-price before 5pm (I think).
- Pros: Excellent food and atmosphere
- Cons: None

Worth the search, this little GEM had it all. Friendly greeters, smiling waitress, good service and fantastically delicious, beautifully presented starters and entrees. Hot items served and remained hot until the last bite while cold plate items were chilled to perfection.
The live, carribean background one man band was a pleasure to listen to and added a touch of the islands which enhanced our dinning pleasure.
Pricing was in line with the proportions however the presentation was beyond expectation. "Grilled Shrimp Skewers" looked almost too good to eat, so we took a picture, before we devoured them.
Truly, our only regret was not having room for dessert. I was dying to try the "White Chocolate Bread Pudding Drizzled with Bailey Irish Cream Sauce". Next time we'll bring friends, what a great way to start or finish an evening out. Thank you,
- Pros: Service, presentation and flavor
- Cons: difficult to find, poor signage

Thanks for stopping by the restaurant and hopefully we will see you soon. I am sorry that you didn't have room for dessert but please come by and try our selection of teas and our rich Blue Mountain Coffee along with some dessert. We also now have Pina Colada Cheesecake.

I am new to Atlanta from New York & was a bit hesitant in visiting this restaurant given the venues I've already patronized since moving here to Atlanta. The places I've visited before coming to Chef Rob's Restaurant have to be quite honest left a lot to be desired. The past venues I've visited were actually embarrasing to West Indian cuisine & had terrible customer service. However, a co-worker/friend raved about this place after knowing my West Indian background and mentioned that she wouldn't have mentioned this spot to me if she had ANY reservations about the food & quality of service. So I decided to give it a try. Well needless to say my first visit was with her back in August along with another fellow co-worker who was in Atlanta on business from California. I must say since that day, I have been hooked ever since!! The staff's knowledgeable/nice personalities, wonderful decor, good ambiance and the owner understands the meaning of customer service and lest I not forget the FOOD is to die for. My goodness, this place receives high marks in every category from me. Every other week, I've been back to CRCC because it has served as the perfect spot on a Friday evening to unwind, after a long week. Chef Rob's Caribbean Cuisine would definitely be a stand-out success in an area like Buckhead, w/ out a doubt. The drinks are a plus also, especially $3 Martini nights - Wednesday's. I've indulged in the braised Oxtails, Conch Fritters, Grilled Wings, Fettucine, Collard Greens (there must be a secret ingredient in these greens as they are addictive) and Curry Chicken and have never had a disappointing meal here yet. My husband is now raving about this place! All that I can say is Big Up to CRCC!!
- Pros: Food, Environment & Customer Service - Staff
- Cons: Price...But worth every penny spent

I visited this cafe yesterday and the food was outstanding. I ordered the Braised Beef Ox Tails and they were superb. My guest ordered the chicken which I tasted and they were very good. I can't wait to visit again. The atmosphere and the Caribbean music were perfect and not to mention the service. I really enjoyed being at Rob's. It is now on my list of favorite restaurants. I have been to many Caribbean restaurants and I rate this one tops.
- Pros: Great Tasting Food, Good Music, Service
Jerke Chicken Done Right

This was an excellent dining experience, with warm, friendly and quick service, and wonderful food. The flavors are subtle yet spicey, with careful attention to nuances. I had the jerke chicken, which was roasted to juicey perfection, and served with a sauce to die for. I'm still wondering what gave the red beans and rice such great flavor. This is very different, very homey cooking with a deft chef's touch.
- Pros: Great food at reasonable price
- Cons: shopping center parking

Stopped in at Caribbean Cafe after a movie. A beautiful place with bright decorations. I'm big on clean and the cafe is spotless. Welcomed by Chef Rob, stepped in to hear light Jamaican music. Now for the food. Outstanding. I like a little heat so the jerked chicken was fine. My wife likes low heat. She ordered the Cuban lime chicken and loved it! It was perfect, spicy but not overwhelming. I ordered a ceasar jerked chicken salad. The salad dressing was the best I've had for years. Even though the food was wonderful, it was such a large portion, we took home leftovers for lunch the next day. You could not do better than to have lunch or dinner here midweek. On weekends I understand it is very popular. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends. The service matched the food.
