I found Tracy Ewell Cosmetics online while on a quest to find a makeup artist for my upcoming wedding. I scheduled an appointment for a makeup application for my engagement photos and was so pleased with their work (and even more so when I got the photos back -- it looked amazing). And I had so much fun! Natalie and Tracy made me feel so comfortable. I don't wear a lot of makeup so I was a little nervous but they were great about listening to what I wanted and making suggestions. I would definitely recommend going in for a makeup lesson as well -- they helped me sort through the makeup I have to figure out what was right for my coloring (some of my stuff was way too orange) and I learned how to apply makeup properly! I left with some great products and brushes that I use every day now. People keep telling me how great my skin looks. For my makeup run through for the wedding, I was amazed at what they were able to transform me into! I still looked like me just... a lot better. I am so glad that on what will most likely be a hectic day, I have complete faith that the makeup for my wedding will look fabulous (and that I will be able to relax and thoroughly enjoy myself while having it done). Ladies, if you haven't been, you are missing out!
Pros: Convenient parking
Cons: None!

Tracy is really friendly and she took time with my eye brows but I wasn't happy with the result. I'm not sure if we had a miscommunication but when I looked at my eye brows out in the sunlight light, I felt like I was in Cirque du Soleil. Her tweezing was painless but I much prefer the waxing because it gets all the fine hair around the upper part of the eye and it has a nice groomed look. She's great at what she does but tweezing is not for me.
Pros: very friendly and outgoing
Cons: didn't like the result, terrible parking

Tracy will take ALL of the guesswork out of your makeup endeavors. Like a lot of women, I've spend thousands of dollars over time trying to find the right foundation color, eye color, lip color, etc. Often times I 'thought' my makeup looked good, and then in different light, at work or out in public it would look bad (girls you know what I'm talking about!). I have fantasized about going to a 'real' makeup artist (NOT someone at a mall) but assumed it would be intimidating, my makeup would look overdone, it would be too expensive, and that I'd have to travel far away. Well, none of those things are true of Tracy, and what's more, this makeup goddess is right here in Atlanta. Tracy makes you feel right at home and asks what you hope to gain from the lesson. She immediately assesses your skin tone/color and matches you to a foundation. After making your skin look even but natural, she teaches you how to make the perfect eyebrow for your face. Then the fun stuff begins--she will happily try out different colors on you if you like and teaches you why certain colors do or don't work. I brought all of my own makeup to the lesson and she picked out what I could keep/what to throw away, but now understanding WHY. She'll give you a natural daytime look and then step it up to a 'work' look, and then show you how to quickly transform for an evening/special occasion. She doesn't pressure you to buy anything but you will be hooked on her unique, high quality products. I opted to buy several products simply because I KNEW they worked and I would no longer have to make disappointing store or mall purchases. After I left the morning lesson I shopped all day and when I got home late that night my makeup looked like I had just left her salon. I kid you not. I hated to wash my face, but her individualized makeup chart made it easy to recreate the look the next day.

Tracy is definitely got a gift especially when it comes to makeup. She gave me a makeup lesson a few years ago for my wedding. I was very nervous because I was getting married out of town. After her lesson I felt like a pro. The products that she carries are the best. Her Mineral Makeup is one of my favorites!! It evens out your skin tone without making you look like you have a lot of makeup on. She helps make you look very natural instead of very made up. She does this with cutting edge products...not department store makeup. You have to visit Tracy in Atlanta at the Rockit Salon. Oh and if you want your eyebrows to look the best she is the go to person for that too!! I tried to do mine on my own when I was out of town and it looked like I did surgery on them. Only she was able to fix them.

I have know Tracy for years and have had the most amazing makeup applications over the years. Tracy always knows what looks best on me ........ an everyday look for work or formal event. I just love the colors she picks for me. In addition, I love the way she tweeze my eyebrows. My eyebrows look great. I used to have them waxed and prefer the tweezing.

I bought the best eye cream.....ever! I have been looking for an eye cream that really works and I have finally found it. Caudalie Eye and Lip Serum is like a cup of coffee for my eyes. It firms, lightens, and hydrates perfectly. This skincare is amazing because it contains NO perservatives! Tracy told me it was her favorite product and that it works on EVERYONE. I've been using it for almost three weeks now and I've already noticed less fine lines, less darkness, and no more puffiness. Thanks!

I bought this amazing mineral powder that is so easy to use and it doesn't look like I have anything on and yet it covers. I've been a big fan of Mineral makeup for awhile, I use to use Bare Escentuals, which is great but is hard to put on and only has an spf of 15. Tracy sold me a mineral powder by Susan Posnick, which is packaged with a click brush, is refillable, and has an spf of 26! I was thrilled. Tracy matched my skin to the perfect shade. I'm hooked!

Tracy does great eyebrows....and painless too. She took a lot of time with them and made them look perfect. I had them done somewhere else and they had waxed off too much, so I had been growing them back . She was patient and percise. She tweezes. I highly reccomend and I will definately be back!
