It's One Big Coke Ad, But It's Great Anyway
by thejam at Citysearch
After you get over the fact that you've actually paid to have a bunch of Coke advertising thrown at you, you're gonna admit the attraction is pretty cool. And, hey, they do let you drink all the free coke you want.
This a must-see during a trip to Atlanta, and it's perfectly located next to the Georgia Acquarium and CNN Center.
- Pros: Free coke
- Cons: Long lines on weekends and holidays

THIS WAS MORE THAN I WAS EXPECTING! I HAD LOTS OF FUN. MY HUSBAND AND I CAME HERE BY OURSELVES BUT NEXT TIME WE WILL BRING OUR KIDS. THERE ARE LOTS OF FUN EXIBITS. THERE IS A 4D THEATRE. IT IS A 3D MOVIE WITH MOVING SEATS AND SOME EXTRAS. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I ALMOST DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE 4D THEATRE BUT I AM GLAD THAT MY HUSBAND WANTED TO. IT WAS WORHT THE WHOLE TRIP JUST TO DO THAT PART. IN THE TASTING ROOM THEY HAVE 64 FLAVORS TO TASTE. I TRIED ALL OF THEM. VERY INTERESTING! MY FAVORITE WAS A GREEN APPLE ONE FROM ASIA. MY LEAST FAVORITE WAS BEVERLY FROM LATIN AMERICA. YUCK! TRY THEM ALL! IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
- Pros: LOTS OF FUN, GREAT FOR KIDS, GREAT FOR ADULTS, GREAT STAFF

Welcome to the advertisement you pay to see! Everything is smartly designed to keep you aware of how internationally loved the brand is. That said, I really enjoyed it. It was fun seeing the art and old memorabilia, I especially liked the Norman Rockwell paintings. There's a cute 3Dmovie and fun international ads. The best part is the tasting area....it's fun to sample products from around the world! And they give you a small bottle of Coke to take from the mini bottling plant on site. Then you have to exit through the gift shop (as most attractions are now designed to do). My husband and I went at the end of the day on a Monday and had no crowds to deal with... which is especially good for the tasting area. It was $17 each and took about 90 minutes for us to see everything. It's next to the aquarium and close to CNN so you could make a day of it as an adult for about $60 to get into all 3.
- Pros: Tasting area is fun, close to other attractions
Very interesting place to visit.

Loved all the Coca-Cola memoribilia. This was my favorite place in Atlanta. First you go in and see alot of memoribillia then you watch a movie, the screen goes up and you head forward into the rest of the museum. Pictures are very pricey ($17 for the first and $10 for any others), however, they will use your camera to take pictures with the Coca Cola polar bear. The person in the suit was humorous. You go on into the museum and then go upstairs to a 4D movie and the remainder of the museum then you can taste different drinks from Europe (the Beverly is like cough syrup), Africa and other places my daughters favorites were still North American flavors. Well worth the time.
- Cons: Cost of pictures and parking
It's A New World At Coca-Cola & Andy Warhol, Also!
by jaymaygm at Citysearch
Everyday is an opening day in Atlanta, and The New World of Coca-Cola is just that. The largely expanded museum next to the Georgia Aquarium delivers pride to us native Atlantans. I was never a big fan, of the former location at Underground Atlanta. Upon entering, is the large Coca-Cola sign taken from the orginal location across from the old Lowes Grand Theater. It is proudly rotating, begging all to come in. Beiing a life long collector of Coca-Cola memoribilia, I was anxious to see the new complete collection. Coke founder, John Pemberton's soda fountain is there in all it's glory. We loved sampling all the Coca-Cola beverages from around the world. Some bitter, some sweet, but all made with the same formula. A new pop art museum, features some of Andy Warhol's most famous poo icon works. Andy alwas knew a good thing, even it this one is longer than fifteen minutes. Kids, young and old, with smiles on faces, are everywhere. Don't leave before going into the Coca-Cola store, without making a purchase of your own piece of memoribilia. Ticket prices are right, even though outside, one exterior wall is somewhat dull, hopefully landscaping will help, with the adjoing parks.
- Pros: Excellent Value, Expanded Exhibits, Pop Culture Museum!
- Cons: Parking Is Expensive, Take Marta!

The New World of Coca-Cola, featuring a "4-D" theater and the world's largest collection of Coke memorabilia, is a shrine to the world's favorite bottled drink.
Coke is the Real Thing!

I?ve never been to the World of Coke, so I was curious? What?s the fuss all about? I was invited to preview the new, and much improved ?World of Coca Cola, so I can share my review with you. Don?t go looking for the World of Coca Cola at the Underground, it?s not there, their new home is next to the Georgia Aquarium. The public Grand Opening is Thurs, May 24 @12. I was excited to see, feel, touch and taste at the new WOC(World of Coca Cola). What an experience! I viewed exhibits capturing milestones in Coca Cola history, looked at many of the other brands in coke?s extensive beverage portfolio. There?s a Pop Culture Room with an Andy Warhol exhibit, folk art by brand enthusiasts around the world?computerized ?make your own pop art kiosks.( I had fun making my very own Pop Art creation and e-mailed to myself) I was fascinated with the Ad theater that features archival TV footage such as the famous ?Hilltop? (I?d like to teach the World to Sing). Experience commercials never seen b/4 in the US. I saw the original American Idol couch from the show?s famous ?Red Room? I was getting a lil? thirsty so I headed to the tasting bar where you can sample drinks(soda, water, juices, teas, and more) from all over the World.(here?s a few of my favorite drinks from around the world ?Smart Apple from China, Bibo Candy Pine nut from South Africa, Beverly from Italy, Vegitabeta from Japan, Stoney Tangewizi from Tanzania) There?s so much to see, oh, I can;?t forget the 4D theatre?magnificient?. Other attractions; Water Garden, ?Far Coast? Outdoor Beverage Bar(freshly brewed coffees, teas and infusions from various cultures, Coca Cola store with new and redesigned merchandise, one of a kind art pieces and much more. Grab your family, friends, associates go see, touch, taste the New World of Coca Cola!
- Pros: Convenient Location
- Cons: Expensive parking fee $10
