Track-side retro dealer unloads sporty vintage finds out of a shoebox-sized Decatur store.
by Contributor
In Short
Snappy retro decor mostly taken from the 50's through 70's cram this little shop, resembling wht the set of the Wonder Years might look like if it was all stored in one room. Full dining room sets, Tiffany-blue dressers, old Life magazines, antique radios, silver oval lamps, and even massive elementary school snap-down maps make it easy to find something uniquely-cool from half a century ago. Architecture books and matted prints of iconic Atlanta landmarks are among the handful of new items for sale, fitting the store's motif while mixing in a touch of local charm. Not nearly as expensive as 20th Century Antiques or City Issue, Victory is chocked with goods big and small, so finding a $10 antique stapler sitting on a $400 desk is not uncommon.
Great gift items
by DecaturEater
Don't think that just because you're not in the market for a new piece of furniture you should not visit VV. Lee has great gift items that are really unique. I always manage to find something that I just HAVE to have while I'm there. Don't know where she finds everything, but keep up the good work!
- Pros: Parking
