Lauren is fabulous!

My hair is a true drama: I have a lot of hair on my head; it grows fast and weighs down its wavy, bouncy texture quite quickly. I really do not enjoy the whole blow-drying and 10 products regimen as a part of my hair styling routine in order to make it look good. However, I love coloring my hair, but it should look natural, yet not boring. I need a cut that’s easy maintenance, professional, yet fashionable versatile, a cut that perseveres the “3-70 Days After” test, a cut that even looks decent on a bad hair day. I have set the bar very high when it comes to my hair, I know: I have been faithfully seeing my hairstylist Lauren Leffelman at Adore Hair Studio in Inman Park for almost 2 years now. First of all: she listens to what you say. She takes the time to look at your hair, with its texture, length, color, and looks how to accentuate your facial features etc. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and experienced and gives her ideas and recommendations for a haircut and/or color treatment and styling tips that truly work for your hair, type, personality and lifestyle. Most importantly Lauren loves and understands hair! She is very passionate about and excellent at what she does, which is entirely reflected in her work! Another big plus seeing Lauren is her personality; she is fun, down to earth and very genuine. I love having interesting conversations with her and appreciate the relaxing no pressure to talk atmosphere at the same time. Last but not least, I constantly get turning heads and compliments about how amazing my hair is. Frequently, I’m being asked what I do to make my hair look like that. My response is always: “Nothing. I just get a good haircut. And how I style it? I don’t. OK, I do: I wash it sleep on it wet and uncombed as it is. In the morning I finger comb my hair; takes 30 seconds, sometimes 40. That’s it. – No magic, all you need is a good stylist who gives you the right cut. It’s that simple, believe it or not!” Then I always tell them to go see Lauren at Adore, because she’s the artist who makes it all happen! Thank you so much!

SHAY MCCORD

Shay has been doing my hair for over 8 years. I followed her from Soge to Adore. Every 4 weeks I go into Adore and am welcome by a great staff with nothing but smiles. She has done some fantastic color from burgundy highlights, some bright red peak-a-boo color underneath my dark brown hair and mostly just matching my color in general. NOBODY knows how grey I am because in the past, nobody knew I colored my hair. I always feel amazingly happy when I leave my chair. Not only because I love the way my hair looks, but also because Shay is a joy to be around and probably knows more about me than my mother. You can't go wrong with Shay McCord.

Patrick for Cut, Color, & Convo!

Monogamy has never been a strong suit of mine in the hair stylist department. Every few months, I feel an overwhelming polygamist urge to mix things up & try a new salon all together. One unfaithful day, I decided to stray on over to Patrick Cochran at Adore & I couldn't be happier that I found him!

Patrick is not only a warm fuzzy, who you feel you've known for years after just introducing yourself, but he listens to your ideas while also having an objective eye. Sometimes, what a client wants in theory is simply unrealistic for real life. Patrick knows this & takes every person's hair texture, face shape, lifestyle, etc into account when deciding on the best cut & color for the individual. I can honestly say that I have received more compliments on my color & the overall health of my hair since I've been going to Patrick.

Speaking of, that's the other awesome thing about Adore: they carry some of the best hair care products on the market today. If you're feeling earthier, they've got Pureology. If you're a product junkie & love the sweeter scents, they've got Bumble & Bumble. They even carry the highly coveted & cult favorite Moroccan Oil.

The prices are fairly competitive & comparable to those of other high end salons, but hey, they include a complimentary beverage too! Who doesn't like to chat it up & get their hair did all while sipping on a glass of vino?!?! Adore ain't cheap, but the results are worth every penny. Every stylist looks incredibly talented, but Patrick is so personable that I can't imagine spending time in anyone Else's chair. Go see him. Now.

• Cons: Kinda pricey, but seems to be the norm these days...

Love that Jenn Hipp

Jen Hipp cut off my 10 inches for Hair Donation and gave me the cutest haircut ever! I am getting swamped with compliments on how good it looks. Also she is the best colorist I have ever seen. She makes you look natural! And she uses gloss to make your hair shiny.

I love Adore Studio and JEN Hipp!

Jenn Hipp is the best!

Jenn Hipp is a miracle worker! I've always wanted to go darker, but due to my pale skin tone was afraid to do so. She managed to find a color that worked well with my complexion and even catered to my (in my own opinion) pain-in-the-butt request to do multiple colors, including red and blond. She listens to what you want and does her best to accommodate, all while making sure you don't look silly! Highly recommended!

megan zinke is a great colorist!

I have that dirty blonde/light brownish hair color that has no excitement on its own and must be colored. Megan Zinke (Z) does an excellent job of giving me natural-looking, warm blonde highlights that have great depth and grow out really well. She knows what color I am looking for, even though I am terrible at explaining it! She is fabulous!

Tony D at Adore is the stylist you have been searching for!

"I just can't say enough fantastic things about Tony D. and my overall experience at Adore! I followed Tony when he moved to Adore from Helmet because no one has ever made my hair look this good! I get compliments on my style and color everyday and he even calls to remind me if I am overdue for a touch up! I couldn't be more pleased! The salon is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and helpful.The location is great and I love the product lines they carry! I'm now addicted to the Pureology line! I am a makeup artist and my appearance is a big part of my credibility in the business. Tony never lets me down! I don't even have to tell him what I want, he just knows what will look great on me. AWESOME PLACE!

I went to this salon for the first time and absolutely LOVED it! The atmosphere itself is really cool, unique and modern. The girl that did my color, Megan Zinke "Z" was amazing. She was so sweet and friendly, and obviously very experienced in hair color. I've been to so many salons in Atlanta over the years, and have had such a hard time finding someone who could do exactly what I wanted. She did it! Needless to say, I'm very happy with the results and have already booked my next appointment with Megan.

Z (Megan Zinke)

I Always get asked where I get my hair done. I have blonde hair with low lights to make it look natural. She can really blend well and knows her color! One thing that sets her apart from many color specialist is that she has her own ideas for your hair and still listens to what you want. Go see Z and you will love your hair too :) She is super sweet so I always look forward to my visits.

I followed Megan from another salon because of her color expertise and warm personality. The Inman Park area is worth visiting. There is a nail salon next door to Adore and several unique places to eat. Try it, you'll like it!

Megan Zinke is the best!!

I followed Megan from Van Michael to Adore. Van Michael was much more convenient as it is right around the corner from my house, but it is definitely worth the drive to Adore for such a great colorist! My color has never looked as natural as Megan has made it look. Not only is she the best colorist I've ever gone to, she is so nice and easy to talk to! I would recommend her to anyone!
