We got lost trying to find this place, but once we made it we were quite pleased. The food has a home cooked flavor. The atmosphere is quite and nice. The outdoor deck looks out onto freedom parkway.

The food was good but definitely overpriced for the quality/uniqueness. I went on a wednesday night and we were probably the only people in the restaurant. Although Pacific Kitchen has been praised for it's atmosphere...the emptiness kind of got to me. I think on weekends this probably isn't the case. Waitstaff was good but overall I don't think I would go back.

Pros: Waitstaff

Cons: Price

Loved the atmosphere! It was very elegant yet very relaxed. The service was tremendous-very friendly. The food was absolutely perfect. We had a large party, and this did not even affect the timely service. I had the Wild Mushroom & Feta Pork Roulade-out of this world. Best item on the menu. I can't wait to share this with other friends-I am definitely going back!!

Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Service

Cons: Can't think of anything!

Our family went there last night in a party of nine. We tried every appetizer, and most of the entres. Everything was excellent Chef Shannon has definitely out done herself. We each tried each other's entre's and I had gotten the tomato bisque. I was truly impressed. We are going back Saturday evening for drinks and going to see how the bar scene or nightlife is there. Location was a little hard to find, definitely needs more signs, but it was well worth the visit!

Pros: Food, service, price

Cons: signage

We were really excited to try out a new brunch place and selected Pacific Kitchen from the menu online - unfortunately, it was better online than in person. Food came out wrong not once, but two times, with teo different dishes. I asked for (menu says you can have eggs any way) my eggs over medium, they came out nearly burned the first time and not done the second - the waiter asked "if you could explain over medium, I'll tell the chef, and he can make the eggs the way you want." if they can't cook and egg, then they shouldn't be in the kitchen. We ended up paying for our drinks - the owner was very polite, but we left for Murphys and had a great Brunch there. Very disapppointing I'm sorry to say

Pros: NIce dining area - but that's where it ends

Cons: Everything else.

Can't understand all these positive reviews. I found the food cold, service slow, prices high. The web page looks great, printed menu looks great, everything else disapointing. I wouldn't go there again.

It seems like from looking over all the previous reviews that your experience at this restaurant may depend on what day of the week you go there. My Fiancee and I went there on a Sunday evening and absolutely love the place! Everything about the place from the food to the service to the ambiance was wonderful. I believe the restaurant currenty occupies a former house which explains the somewhat odd entrance. The dining area was probably the living room of the house and is tight but provides a comfortable atmosphere. We did not have to raise our voices to have a relaxing conversation. We both really enjoyed the bread with the roasted garlic and oil, and crab/corn fritters appetizer. She had the moonfish and I had the Ono for entrees...we shared each entree and discovered excellent quality fish, perfectly cooked, with a visually appealing presentation. Our server provided us with the right amount of attention to make sure we were enjoying our meal without coming over every 2 mins to interupt. I have eaten at many fine dining establishments around Atlanta (including One Midtown Kitchen) and in many major cities and this experience is high on my list of favorites. I would highly recommend this place as we found no faults, only positives with our experience.

Pros: wonderful food, not crowded or loud (at least on Sunday), easy parking

Cons: NONE!

First off the decor is enticing and beautiful. As you are seated your started out with an amous bouche of apple cider with orange and fennel to clean the pallet. We have been here 4 times after repeatedly trying other highly marketed new restaurants that are known more for who is drinking at the bar than the food. Service is impeccable and very knowledgeable about the menu. I like how they update the menu with only the freshest product from the west coast and seafood from hawaii. All the appetizers and tapas are excellent. This time we had pacific oysters, salmon crostini, duck ham, wontons, salads, chorizo sausage, and chocolate beignets. I could go on forever about the freshness and quality of the food here. Every dish is impeccable and for the price quite reasonable compared to getting ripped off at a buckhead hotspot. It's simple, really. Pacific Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in the city. Go! You will not regret it. No, it's not cheap. But then the quality of food is top shelf. The food does come out slow but I sense this is purposeful as the restaurant is geared more to someone who wants a slower moving, romantic evening. If you want fast, head to McDonalds. I personally like the fact that it's tucked away but still very convenient.

Pros: Perfect food.

Cons: A bit pricey.

I went to Pacific Kitchen with a friend last night and the food was absolutely incredible. Although it was in a hard to find place (make sure you print good directions and don't try and "drive around to find it" because you won't, it was definitely worth the drive over. The ambiance of the place is really nice and our waiter was very courteous and knowledgable about the menu and wine list. the bread and roasted garlic was very good too. We were even presented an amuse-bouche of half watermelon/half strawberry agua fresca which was pleasantly delightful. After ordering is where things went slightly down hill. Although we requested them to course our meal as my friend and I had ordered an appetizer and a main meal, they took a while to bring the food out and actually brought all our food out at once. Not a huge deal though as the food was delicious. Honestly one of the best means I've eaten all summer. I got the monkfish and organic strawberry salad. My friend got the gazpacho and tuna tartare. The gazpacho is one of the best ive had in a while. Next I had ordered a glass of wine with my meal and only after I asked my waiter for it did he bring it. He was very apologetic about the whole situation as apparently they had run out of white wine glasses. It was only after reading the bill that they actually brought me the wrong wine and billed me for that wrong wine. I was in too much of a good mood to really care to deal with it. And the prices are kinda expensive. Not a place to visit maybe more than once a month! But definitely a place to visit at LEAST once a month. Over all a great restaurant with mishaps that can happen at even the greatest restaurants because I can forgive small mistakes if the food is good and the waitstaff is courteous.

Pros: nice ambience, delicious food, great waitstaff, free parking!

Cons: kinda hard to find (but that could be a good thing lol), food takes a while to come out but its worth it
