WOW, we stumbled upon this great spot and are thrilled. The food was good, prices were reasonable also. We ate outside and enjoyed the area. Service was OK. We would like to come back and eat inside for dinner.
- Pros: great neighborhood spot
A real authentic Pub, great food and ale!

What a find! A real British style pub!
Nestled on quiet Virginia Avenue near the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport in College Park is a great pub, The Manchester Arms.
The owners, John and Anna Katherine are your excellent hosts. This is really one of those places where everyone knows your name, no kidding. Almost all the patrons are recognized on a first name basis.
The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere with an inviting umbrella covered patio with flowers and large candles glowing at night .
The food prepared by Chef John and his kitchen staff, it is fabulous tasting as well as presented with flair.
Great seafood, steaks and special offerings nightly. The ales served represent the best of Germany, the British Isles and the whole of Europe .
The pub is patronized by residents of the adjoining neighborhoods of College park and East Point, as well as doctors, executives, air line pilots and crew members from the nearby World headquarters of Delta Air Lines, along with pleasantly surprised travelers from the nearby hotels. All are welcome and appreciated and soon are on a first name basis with the friendly staff after their first visit
This pub compares favorably with any in the British Isles, Ireland. the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, and all of Europe.
The second floor features a 50 inch HDTV for watching sports while savoring your favorite ale. There is plenty of parking in back as well as across the street.
Next time you are in the neighborhood stop in, you won't forget it.
- Pros: Thumbs up!
Wow, Who Knew!!!

This place is a definite "don't miss" spot for Atlanta. For those of us that live south of I-20 it's becoming a must on a regular basis and for those of you that have business at the airport or in this area should really plan a visit! In spite of the scathing review offered just prior, the food and atmoshpere here is great! There are new owners, (that are actually friends of the origional owners), and the menu has been expanded, first rate specials abound and I find it to be warm and welcoming. I have met the new owners....... They are working hard at making this place all that it can be. Most nights that we have been there we see the new owner , John, making the rounds and inquiring as to everyones satisfaction and comfort. They have added new staff, a new chef and great new menu items. The shrimp and grits that are offered as a special from time to time the best anywhere. Another special that I've enjoyed was a whole boneless (yes, boneless) trout. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented- Incredible! The fish and chips here are not to be beat- they were always good and have held their place on the menu. A friend that eats there with me thinks that the burger (thick and juicy and hand made) is the "best he's ever eaten anywhere"! We've also recently had amazing steaks here... Ribeyes and New York Strips, generous cuts and cooked exactly as we requested. Oh, I forgot to mention the "starters"- Home made potato chips topped with crumbled bleu cheese and balsamic- Fabulous.. And the calamari, lightly battered and not overcooked. The in house hummus is really good too! Great beer and wine selection!
The place is very clean, (I just found out that they recieved a perfect score of 100 by the Fulton Co. Health Dept) , warm and friendly. Check it out, you will not be sorry! We love it!
- Pros: Great patio, fun bar, friendly, neighborhood feel...
Wow. Great food, presentation and ambience

Visited for the first time for Friday night drinks after a friend read about it in the paper. It's charming on the outside, but once you get inside, the real fun begins. Great little bar with friendly staff (ask for Drew, he's worth it). If you go for dinner, try the Chicken Piccata-- it was the best I've had. My friend's pork chops looked awesome as well. I can't wait to go back and try something else.
- Pros: Great pub with polish, quiet street, parking plentiful, service with personality
The Gem of College Park

I'm totally surprised that there are no other reviews on this place. I work near College Park and had heard of it, but never been. Finally decided to stop by and try it. It's one of the best pubs around! This is in an old home nestled in an established College Park neighbourhood. There is plenty of on street parking, a super nice patio and a typical British pub feel inside. Super friendly staff, good food, and more importantly, an excellent beer and wine list. I went on a Friday night and the patio was nearly packed but still plenty of room inside. All I can say is that the place is great!
- Pros: Great ambience, no smoke, plenty of on-street parking

Brit-style pub in College Park that dishes up comfort food like shepherd's pie and Yorkshire pudding in a low-key setting.
