Great hair really is possible!

I found Fresche and its owner, Joi, about four years ago through CitySearch's rave reviews and have been her loyal client ever since. Why? Because she's THE BEST, plain and simple! Not only does she really listen to what you want, but she can also tell you what will work best if you're not sure what you want. Her cuts look good from day one all the way through till it's time to get it cut again. I don't know how she does it, but it's true. Personally, my hair never feels too trendy or too boring with one of her cuts. It actually feels like this is the way my hair should always have been. That's the thing about Joi, she makes you look like you were just born with great hair and style. It doesn't hurt that she and her wonderful staff are pleasant, helpful, and professional or that the salon itself is not intimidating but quite warm and homey.

Make an appointment with Matt

Matt is incredibly creative and always does a wonderful hairdressing job. I gave him a vague idea of what I wanted and he took it from there and gave me wonderful color and a great cut. He is warm and personable as well. I have been to a good many stylists in Atlanta and he is surely the best. Not only is he my hairdresser but also a fine friend. You can't do better...

BEST CUT SINCE NYC

I haven't had a good..let alone decent haircut since I moved out of NYC last December..one bad cut after another. Well, Matthew at Fresche is amazing!! If you are new to the area or looking for someone who actually knows how to cut hair, give him a try! Instead of a 10min glance over your hair...you will get 30min+ delight as he works your hair in sections the way it should be done!

I went in for a single process color and cut...both look amazing! The staff is really friendly, it is a chill atmosphere, and Matthew really took his time to make sure everything was right!

Great cut and color

I have been going to Julie at Fresche for 3 years. She does an amazing job. I have never stayed with any one stylist for this long but I love Julie and the atmosphere at Freshe. They do a great job with color/highlights. Now my husband goes too!

Five stars for Fresche!

I started coming to Fresche because my daughter had been going for a while and was really excited about the cuts and color she got there.

After about six months of her getting her hair done there, I tried it.

It takes a REALLY good cut to satisfy me and have me come down from Flowery Branch to get it done! Julie did a magnificent job on my hair. I have lived in and around Atlanta for over 20 years and have been looking for a good Salon for that long. Fresche fills that requirement easily. And, Julie is SO good at what she does!!

Kudos to Julie and the rest of the staff for a wonderful Salon!

great choice!

I just moved to Atlanta from California where I modeled for many top hair shows and was used to top professionals being the only ones dealing with my hair (L'anza, Paul Mitchell, Nioxin, Wella, Sebastian, Matrix and others). It was very stressful for me to think about finding a stylist in Atlanta that would be up to par to that which I was accustomed to.

After much research I stumbled upon Fresche and got a good feeling about it. I went there to change my look a bit and even got bangs after more than a decade without them. I must say I loved that Phillipa took her time to make sure it looked perfect AND even showed me a few tricks to keep it up.

Now, months later I started messing with my hair color... did an in home thing that did not come out quite like I expected it to but I lived, and recently died it black for my Halloween costume. Now I am tired of the intense black and I will be going to see Fresche yet again but this time for a color correction.

I can honestly say I trust them for my hair that has been spoiled for years by top business professionals.

Just average

I have gone to Fresche three times all with different stylists. I have had two excellent hair cuts and one mediocre hair cut. I did tell the stylist regarding the mediocre hair cut that she cut my bangs way too deep -- but really what else can you do? Once it's cut it's cut, there is no way for her to fix it. I also had one color that was average and one that was botched. I did return to have the botched color fixed and the staff and stylist were very professional about the matter. My hair is medium brown and I requested an all over brown in the my natural color -- it turned out black so highlights were added on my return to fix the color -- at no charge. I have decided to try other salons in the area to see if I can find a better one -- but my suspicion is that this may be as good as it gets in downtown Decatur -- too bad.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience that wasn't as expected at fresche. On a positive note; I am happy to hear that you did have 2 excellent haircuts from us! I'm not sure about the not so good time; but it does sound like we did everything possible to make it right and you were treated with the customer service that I expect from my staff. We do try extremely hard to make everyone happy and give them what they want; but sometimes things do happen with hair that you just can not predict. We have excellent stylist who cut and colour at fresche that I would put up against alot of other Decatur and Atlanta ones ~ maybe you just haven't clicked with the right one yet!

Excellent color!!

AJ really listened to what kind of color and highlights that I wanted and he surpassed my own expectations!! As a lady of color, sometimes our hair color does not come out very good, but I am happy to say that Fresche knows hair color. They are excellent at it!! I would recommend them to everyone. Joi and AJ...you are the greatest!!

BEST place in Atlanta for Color!!!

I just had my hair done with Sarah at Fresche, and it was the BEST salon experience that I have EVER had!! She listened to my ideas of what I wanted, and gave me a "Fresche" new look! The staff were all very friendly, and it was just an all around great experience! Sarah is GREAT, and I will definifely be using her as "MY" stylist from hereonin!!!

Great time

I just wanted to say my hair looks and feels great after I left from my visit with AJ. It was the first time my husband liked my hair after it has been cut and colored.

Also had a mani with amy and she was good too. Took a little time but was worth it for sure. I will be back for my next cut and already am looking for to my next cut and chatting with AJ again :)
