I never take the time to write a review, but after my experience at Fresche I just had to. My best friend recommended that I go there and boy, do I owe her!!! I am a single mom so, needless to say, I have not had my hair done in a while!!! But I decided it had been long enough and I needed to pamper myself. I must say, I was a little intimidated at first because I knew how good the reviews were. But as soon as I walked in, I knew I was going to have an wonderful experience...the staff is SOOOOOOOO amazingly friendly. My appointment was with Philippa and she really did an AMAZING job!!! Like I said, I'm a single mom so money is pretty tight for me. And it's often been my experience that when you go in to get your hair done and you try and "cut corners" the stylist usually gets a little frustrated. Not Philippa!!! She took the time to really listen to me, made her suggestions and then, voila...she worked her magic! I am so happy with my hair, I will never go to anyone else. Oh, did I mention I live in Macon??? Seriously, I will make the drive to have her do my hair. For years I have been trying to get someone to color my hair this way and I've never been satisfied. She did an amazing job and I just want to thank her and the entire staff for making my experience so unforgettable. Although I won't be able to go in as much as I would like, you've definitely made a customer for life. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!!
Pros: Beautiful Location, Exteneded Hours, Friendly Staff, Exceptional Service, Wonderful Ambience
Cons: Not a one!!!

We moved from East Cobb to the city of Decatur so going to my "regular" stylist at Three-13 was not really an option I wanted to consider. I (of course) went to CitySearch and found Fresche. It was a toss up between Grow and Fresche but the hours and availability at Fresche won over, especially since they were the winner of "Best of" in 2006 and are open 7 days a week!!! I had initially wanted to see Tiffanie since she is in nearly every review, but Taryn was available the next day and was nothing but sweet and attentive. She has cut my hair once (plus one touch up) and is wonderful. I have another appointment scheduled for color this week and I confident she will exceed my expectations. The salon is small, very relaxing which makes you feel as though the stylist are there just for you. Drinks are offered when you arrive and the wait is under 5 minutes... just enough time to catch up on the latest gossip from the plethora of magazines available. After (or before) your appointment, check out the good eateries within walking distance :-)
Pros: Open 7 days a week!!!

I think this is a nice salon - friendly staff, never have to wait long. I've been slightly disappointed with my hair color though. I have read all the recommendations and I think this salon is good, but not as great as it's made out to be. I have noticed that my colorist does not place my highlights that close to the root. As a result, I have to go to the salon more frequently for touch-ups. The last time I had my hair highlighted here, I noticed that my roots were still showing in places. I was charged $100+ and it really didn't look like I had my hair done. I haven't had this happen at other salons. I was a little disappointed because of the hype. This is definitely not the best hair color I've ever had and I don't think I'll be returning to this salon.

I recently decided to do to the blonde-in-the-box thing, and would you know it - I looked like a lemon. After searching for a salon with consistently good reviews in both Washington DC and Altanta (which is hard to find), I came across numerous recommendations for Tiffanie. I was flying in from Washington DC to visit my parents who live 2 hours south of Atlanta, so I went ahead and made an appointment. Tiffanie was worth it! I scheduled my appointment as a possible corrective coloring. After evaluating my hair, she determined it wasn't bad enough to be corrective. She did a phenomenal job matching the color to my natural hair color! She also took the time to teach me how to style my hair and what I needed to do to treat it because I had really destroyed it. She gave me a great cut, took the time to explain everything to me, and she keeps a little book with all of your color ingredients so that she can repeat the color the next time without any strange color lines/variations. If you need color, call Tiffanie! (By the way, I am now making all of my hair appointments in conjunction with my trips to visit my parents when I fly in from DC.)
Pros: Tiffanie, offered tea/cookies/water, professionalism, and Tiffanie
Cons: Not in Washington DC

I've been getting blonde highlights for awhile, which I liked, but it was time for a change. Of course, I didn't really know what I wanted. After talking to Tiffanie, and listening to her suggestions, I decided to go red. It turned out FANTASTIC!!! I absolutely love it!!! I have very thick hair, which takes forever to style. Tiffanie gave me a cute new hair style and thinned out my thick hair. It takes me half the time to style it in the morning. Gotta love that! Tiffanie is such a sweet person and she knows what's she doing!
Pros: very skilled, friendly stylist
Cons: non

As a new mom, I have been in a hair rut since having my daughter. I have felt so blah and just really needed a change. I had been going to the same salon for four years, and I kept walking away with the same exact cut and color every time, in spite of asking for something new. I came across Fresche on CitySearch and after reading the awesome reviews for Tiffanie, I just knew I had to make an appointment. Tiffanie and the salon totally lived up to their reviews. Tiffanie was wonderful. She took plenty of time to talk through what I needed and wanted, and she made great suggestions. I had a few time constraints because my baby was at home with a babysitter, so Tiffanie worked very quickly without sacrificing quality so that I could get home to relieve the babysitter. She also made sure to seem interested in learning about me, my likes and dislikes. I felt like I was having a conversation with a trusted friend. I have received so many compliments on my hair! It looks the most natural it has in years. After years of visiting snooty, high priced salons (and I have been to a lot of Atlanta big salons), difficulty in finding convenient appointments and long drives , I am thrilled to have found this great salon in this fun neighborhood. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I can't say enough good things!
Pros: Easy to make an appointment, cool location, knowledgeable staff

Ok, so I did a bad thing and dyed my blond hair dark chocolate brown. It was fun for a while and not horrible but too many people were commenting like, "your hair...it's so dark?"...I was unemployed and bored. Walked in on a whim, without an appointment and Joi suggested Tiffani take a look to see what she could do. She made no promises and said it might take a few visits to fix. Within 3 hours (totally my fault) I was back to the honey hue I love, with a few lighter highlights. Tiffani truly fixed my hair and over delivered! I wasn't expecting a miracle and she performed one as I had used a box color to cover some highlights that had bleached out in the sun. I have to say that I was more than pleased with the outcome and the service. I booked a haircut on the spot and have another appt set for more color as I am going back to blondy, blond blond! Great color, great haircut and best of all great price. This is my new salon! Thank you Tiffani!
Pros: color experts, great cut, in my neighborhood
Cons: NONE!

I've been visiting Joi at fresche for 2 yrs. now. I'm from East Tennessee and during a trip to Atlanta decided I would like to try a new salon to update my look. This salon, fresche, was such a welcome surprise. I was a little nervous because I've heard that big city salons can be quite stuffy. This is not the case with fresche. I was made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere is very soothing and friendly. My appointment began with a relaxing shampoo and neck massage. Joi spent a lot of time with me during the initial consultation to examine my hair texture, facial shape and coloring. I left feeling like I'd been given a complete make-over with a new hair style and highlights. She gave me a look that my friends tell me has taken 10 years off my age. Talk about magic, she definitely has the gift. I still make the trip to Atlanta every 6-8 wks. to let Joi work her magic again and again. Thank you, Joi.

Joi is a master magician of hair. I have been transformed. No matter where I go I am stopped by strangers who have to know, who is the artist that created this masterpiece? I've been to a lot of stylist and I've had a lot of different styles but no one has ever connected with me, my face shape and my persona the way that Joi has. It’s like she looks deeper, beyond the surface and is able to find a hidden diamond buried in the rough. She takes it out, polishes it up and then sends it walking out of the doors of fresche, for the world to see. There's just something to be said about walking past a mirror, catching your reflection and the first thing you think is. Who is that girl with the hot hair? Then you remember, oh yeah, that’s ME. I have Joi to thank for her wonderful bag of tricks. I have never felt more confident than I do today.
Pros: Creative, Inspiring and friendly atmostphere, Personal Touch

I have finally found the salon for me! My girlfriend told me about Fresche! I feel like I owe her the world. This has been by far the best salon experience ever. My magnificent journey began when I called to make my appointment. The girl who answered the phone took the time to match me with the stylist perfect for me. She asked me several questions about my hair type and from my answers she paired me with Julie. Wow, what a great call. Julie really knows her stuff. She is young, fun and she listened to exactly what I wanted. I only wanted a haircut, but I can't wait to come back to get highlights. Everyone there is friendly. The girl who washed my hair was the best. She had a boy's name like Phillip or something, but her touch was that of an angel. I can't wait to come back. Fresche is just that......a breath of fresh air. There are no "stuck up, wannabees or flaky" ladies at this salon. I've never been to the other shop, but I'm sold on this one forever. Loving my hair!
Pros: Friendly staff, ample parking and lots of books to choose haircuts from
