Based on the great reviews, I called and booked an appointment with Ana. When I arrived, without my knowledge someone else cut and colored my hair. During the cut I found out the person working on me was not Ana. The person who did my hair was not experienced. The highlights were terrible and the color started about 1" from the scalp instead of at the scalp. My hair was all one length and not quite at shoulder length. We decide to keep the style (it was an expensive cut from a different salon). This person CHOPPED - not cut my hair. On one side near my face is a place with hair less than one inch long. The other side has a place where the hair is so short it looks like there is a hole in my hair. I was very unhappy when leaving. I was still charged full price of $150 for cut and color. They completely ruined my hair. This is an awful place - do not go here. I think they wrote all of the previous good reviews.

When I went to Shear Amore for the first time I was welcomed literally with "Open Arms." I had my highlights and haircut done by Elzabeth Dickerson and she is the best. I get so many complements on my hair and I cannot say enough great things about her and the salon. I highly recommend seeing Elizabeth I promise you will not be let down. She takes you through everything she is doing with your hair and really makes you feel comfortable. I will never go to anyone else!

This is a great salon where you get individualized attention in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and talented. I keep going back because I like what they do and they really care about your satisfaction (unusual for me since I'm known for being a salon hopper!). Try it!

Shear Amore is the best Salon I have been to and a 1st class facility. The staff is very friendly and professional. I thought I had the best for 14 years till Ana did her number on my hair and proved their products worked well beyond anything else I have used. Bumble and Bumble products are like no other I have tried. It brought my natural curl and left it very natural looking. It was full service and AAA+++ on everything and well worth the drive. You feel like a movie star from beginning to end. It was easy to find. Afterwards, my daughter and I enjoyed a walk along a beautiful river path right next to the Salon. We will be back. Thanks Ana!

Review: It was my very first time getting highlights. I was always afraid to get highlights because I like the natural look. I also have dark brown hair which makes highlighting much for apparent so I always put it off. When my birthday came along with a few white hairs I decided to take the risk and giving Ana full authority to color my hair. After it was finished I fell in love with the dimensions she had created in my hair. They accentuated my features, facial color and hair type. I could not stop looking in the mirror. When I arrived to work I kept noticing everybody's hair and realized that Ana was a true professional. Every women in the office wanted to get their hair highlighted by her. She's truly a master at her profession and I feel comfortable taking any risk with her. This is a rare thing for me because I'm so attached to my hair and it's important for me to make changes that look elegant, chic and classy at the same time and she made me look a thousand times better and younger. Thanks Ana Moura! I look forward to seeing you in 8 weeks!!!

After reading the reviews on citysearch I anticipated a pleasant experience, but what Ana was able to achieve with my hair was MORE THAN I IMAGINED! I have never felt so happy and attracted to my hair! Ana read my mind (color and style). I received so many compliments and looks that I went back the next day to pick up a gift certificate for a friend.

Beautiful Salon in a quaint area of Roswell. This salon uses quality products and Anna is always willing to give samples and show you how to use the products---with out the hard sell. I have always been pleased with any service at this salon. From facials to highlights I would recommend this Salon.

A couple years ago I decided to expand my pampering and have pedicures, but I'm so glad to have Skye doing my pedicures. She is very friendly and the time spent is very relaxing. It is like a visit with a good friend and a great way to end my week - a haircut and then a visit with Skye for my nails.

About two years ago I started having my nails done by Skye Wee-Tom. All the nail technicians are good but Skye goes the extra mile. She is extremely friendly and goes to extremes to make every visit relaxing. I enjoy her friendship and fun conversations. Her visit is the the last thing I do on Saturday to cap off my day. Recently, I was glad to find out that she had started doing facials, and even more pleased that it was the best facial ever! Skye is one best asset!

As a former NY editorial fashion model, I've extensively traveled. So, I've had good stylists and hair stylists work with my hair. As far as hair stylists are concerned, Ana of Shear Amore, is the demarcation line between great and FABULOUS!

Pros: One on One Attention, Talented staff, Hip/Laid Back Salon
