I don't see a differentiation in Citysearch for Decatur vs. Emory Village locations. Haven't tried Emory, but here's my take on Decatur: We popped in for lunch one day shortly after opening, anxious to support a new local business. From the start, I absolutely did NOT love the "counter service" concept. Spending $40 on lunch for two, in my mind, means not having to get up out of one's seat to order or request things, particularly when we were the only ones in the place. The food was nice. My linguine with clams and wine offered an incredible quantitly of (small and obviously canned) protein, but a satisfying dish none the less. I appreciated the in-shell clams that garnished the dish as a very nice touch. But I just couldn't get past the counter service, because I just cannot say loudly enough, a $40 lunch for two does not equate me ordering at a counter. Please---fix this hiccup in what would have otherwise been a nice dining experience.
Pros: very nice food
Cons: counter service is unacceptable

Having passed the restaurant many times, usually opting for a neighboring pizza place instead, we finally stopped in for lunch one day, and I'm so glad we did. We walked in the door, picked up menus and found several things that all sounded amazing. Walk-up ordering was easy and convenient and though our food took a couple minutes (which assured me that it was not sitting in the back waiting for me) it was fantastic. The red sauce on the pasta had just the right amount of spice and so much flavor. The prosciutto and arugala sandwich had a layer of lemon vinagrette that really brought out the flavors of the ciabatta bread. I was full after half my sandwich and salad but continued to eat because it was just so tasty! The price was extremely reasonable, service was helpful and quick and the ambiance was low-key.
Pros: Delicious red sauce, creative menu, available tables
Cons: Parking may be hard to find

My husband and I have eaten at Saba several times. Each time, we have been thoroughly impressed. The service is friendly and quick, the restaurant has fresh flowers and a cozy décor, and most importantly, the food is delicious. They have creative pastas, such as pumpkin ravioli and pasta with vindaloo sauce. The salads are fresh and delicious – I especially loved the Caesar salad and the Greek salad with sundried tomato vinaigrette. Today, I had the chicken club sandwich, which was to die for. The chicken was moist and tender and the fresh-baked cibatta bread was perfect. My husband ordered from the brunch menu and had an omelet stuffed with prosciutto and goat cheese. He said that it was the best omelet he had eaten in a long time. I would highly recommend dining at Saba – you will get large portion and gourmet food without putting a strain on your wallet.
Pros: Delicious Food, Cheap Prices, Beautiful Decor, Creative Menu
Cons: None
