Misrepresentation

The pictures on the website make this place look like a million bucks, not true. When our cab pulled down Shadowlawn and kept driving into a dark neighborhood/office buildings, I said "Oh no!" It was 11pm last Friday night and my party didn't even want to get out of the cab. We decided to go inside and try it, what a mistake, should have told the cab driver to keep driving. There was about ten people and eight of them were together for a bachelorette party. A smell smacked you in the face as you entered and "club" seemed dirty. We looked around and left. I read all of the reviews here and thought this was a place I had to visit while in Atlanta, wrong. The club presents itself as "exclusive and hip," as they require you to be on the guestlist if you want access before 11 or suffer the consequences after 11. This "place" is not a club!

Get in the Mood

Mood Lounge by far is the hot spot in Atlanta for a Buckhead Tuesday or Friday night! The atmosphere and music remind me of a Miami night club. The dance floor is always filled with the hottest people in Buckhead. The bartenders are incredible and make the best drinks. I recommend Mood Lounge to anyone wondering where to go to try somewhere new. .... Did i mention beautiful people!!!

Went on Friday night...this place goes off!

Had this Elder Flower maritni - fantastic and FREE. My girl and I got there before 11(straight from dinner) and not only did we get in free, but our first drinks were also on the lounge. The DJ reminded me of my last trip to Miami...I will def be back again!

Classless

Do not waste your money nor time!!!! There is a reason "MoodLounge" is a well-kept secret. They don't want our business. Do know the old rules of Buckhead still apply..."KEEP IT LILLY". I am a consistent patron of Atlanta's great spots; Accordingly, I am the one all who I know call upon to ask where to go in Atlanta. Mood Lounge will never be on my list of recommendations. In short, because any longer would be an enormous waste of time and typing, my 3 girlfriends and I were the very 1st to arrive on a Tuesday night, as we did not know to expect typical Club hours. We were impressed by the trendy atmosphere. However, I immediately picked up on the completely unfriendly, unprofessional bar staff. I thought they surely could not be concerned with making money and must have just been volunteers. We took our drinks outside and sat at one of the tables on the completely empty patio. We had not been seated 10 minutes before being approached by a cocktail waitress instructing us that in order to "SIT" at one of the tables, there was a 2 drink minimum and she would need a credit card to start a tab. We informed her we had no interest in starting a TAB for 2 DRINKS a piece. We still had our drinks we had JUST gotten from the bar minutes earlier and she said we would still need to order 2 additional drinks from the table to meet our "minimum". Of course I asked her to send the Manager over. He approached our table asking "Is there a problem?" No Good evening...No how are you ladies? We all spoke up alternately at our dismay on the insistence we start a tab to sit at a table in a completely empty club. We even went further to explain we understood and respected club etiquette and would certainly get up from their "TABLE" as their minimum drink guests arrived. The Manager decided he would ensue with rebuttable debate with me until I remembered I was the customer and in an inappropriate Tongue-Wrestle with the Help!

He then relinquished as he knew it would take physical removal which he and his flunkies, I mean Doormen, sorely lacked. What man argues with ladies over seating at a table of an empty establishment which has a 2 year life-span. Oh, did I mention Mr. Manager thought it necessary to inform us that Mood Lounge occupied "Prime Real Estate" in Buckhead???!!! How random and un-qualified I suspect unless he actually had a brain under his head-band. Obviously he has not seen a Real Estate nor Economic Report in the last 2 years!!!!

• Cons: SO-CALLED MANAGEMENT

Awesome place and good looking people!

Mood Lounge is a great place to go for music or just to meet some good looking people. Upstairs the music is awesome and theres a great dance floor. I like that there is usually a DJ downstairs with some different music that what's upstairs so you can choose to go down there as well. I have an awesome every time I go there!

One of Atlanta's Best Hot Spots

Mood Lounge has the perfect combination of a little L.A., a little New York, a little Miami and lot of ATL! Mood has an amazing ambiance of trendy, upscale, sophisticated yet full of southern hospitality. Tuesday nights are packed with Atlanta's diverse clubbing crowd, celebrities and the lucky tourists who find this hidden hot spot. Mood Lounge is one my favorite places in the city, it's small enough to keep up with friends and big enough to dance, peolple watch at the bar or chill out on the patio. The staff is always friendly and professional; the drinks are great and affordable; the music is awesome, and the crowd is HOT! .......See you at Mood Lounge!

Hottest club on Tuesdays, Best lounge on the Weekends.

I've been going to Mood lounge on Tuesdays for at least a year pretty regularly...let me tell you it?s the ONLY place to go on a Tuesday in Atlanta. I've seen some people post here about the cover charge.. This is the HOTTEST club in the city on Tuesdays its kinda a given there will be a cover charge! They also have a guest list sign-up on there website so isn?t as bad as some make it seem, just arrive early..

You'll see everyone from celebs to big-time lawyers to athletes here almost any night! This club looks awesome with the LED lighting and great sound system and not to forget a HUGE bar!.. I love how they play top 40 mash-ups upstairs and downstairs is house music.. great way to mix it up..

If you?re looking for something to do on a Tuesday night, go here, it will always have a big crowd no matter rain or shine... If your looking for something to do on the weekends this is also a great choice as its not as packed as on a Tuesday an the cover isn?t as much, but its still got plenty of people to make your night a blast!

I would recommend Mood lounge. It has cool staff, good drinks/crowd and great overall ambience!

Get in the Mood...

If you are looking for a gorgeous crowd with sinful drinks then look no further. The vibe is in the name and this is the place to see and be seen every Tuesday night. The Outdoor Patio and First Floor are always hot, pumping out your typical top 20's dance music, but if you are looking for something with more of a techno/house vibe then you have to check out the downstairs bar area. Basically, this place has a little something for everyone including some of the city's best bar staff...or shoudl I say best looking?!

Hidden Gem

Good things come in small packages, and Mood Lounge is no exception. I get to experiece the sights, sounds and energy of a hot nightclub without spending most of the night searching through 10 rooms and 2000 people for my friends.

I've been to Mood more times than I can count! Whether we've planned a Birthday celebration weeks in advance or gotten a wild hair and joined the Tuesday Night crowd, it's always a blast.

The music is great mix of dance, hip hop, Top 40, rock and house. The barstaff is friendly and accommodating...they really want everyone to have a good time. And the drinks aren't as expensive as Midtown. It's tucked away off Peachtree, so you'll have to pay attention to find it, but once you have you'll feel like you've finally been let in on the secret!

Fun staff!

One of my favorite places in the city! Mood lounge is the perfect blend cozy comfort and cutting edge design. The owners and management are incredibly down to earth and the staff is experienced and accommodating. Tuesdays nights are notoriously fun and filled with hometown hotties, young businessmen and local celebrities. The venue is also great for private parties and birthdays. I highly recommend checking out one of the last hidden jewels of buckhead!
