Little Shop Of Stories is everything you'd want in a neighborhood bookstore. Carefully selected children's books and related items, a smaller but excellent selection for teens and adults, and cozy nooks and overstufffed armchairs to enjoy quiet moments. Walking into this cheerful and whimsical bookstore immediately puts you in a good mood, and the owners and staff welcome and assist you with genuine enthusiasm. You get the feeling that this is more than a business--it's a labor of love and a commitment to the community. If you want to indulge, Little Shop Of Stories shares the space with Jake's Ice Cream, home of "Slap Yo' Momma Chocolate" and other delicious flavors. There's a party room in the back, and the two businesses combine to host birthday parties, visits from children's characters and other fun events. It's a warm, wonderful place, a welcome addition to the neighborhood. You should go.

Rarely do I find a book store with as much passion and love for books, especially children's books, as Little Shop of Stories. They specialize in the best of the new and the most loved of the old. They schedule so many fun events for kids, they can honestly become a hub to help a child's literacy and interest in books and reading. It is obvious that this store is well-loved by the owners and all the employees. It is bright, cheerful, and impeccably clean. If you ask for a suggestion, be prepared to get a list of great ideas, they've read them all. They share their space with Jake's Ice Cream. Books and ice-cream, can't beat it. Gotta go.
Pros: Passionate, Educated, Supportive
Cons: Parking issue fixed
