I went with three other adults at 11 am on a Monday. It was still busy with school groups but I imagine it's even more crowded on the weekends. There were some nice exhibits. I especially liked the "river" above your head in one area and the otters. There are hands-on areas for kids and a few glass "bubbles" you can stick your head in to be part of the exhibit. The 4-D movie we paid extra for was in no way worth the price. But what you're really paying for is the HUGE tank with the whale sharks. It really is impressive and probably the reason they say they're the largest aquarium. If you're visiting Atlanta and can avoid the weekends, I think it's probably something to see...but I've been to better aquariums (Chatanooga and Baltimore) that took longer to go through and had more to see.

Pros: Great whale shark exhibit, close to other attractions

Cons: Expensive, skip the movie
