Classy Nightclub Scene till 4 in the morning

My husband and I visit The Modavi Lounge on a regular basis. It is a Great place to come with friends, have parties, or just come to relive yourself from everyday life. The service is great, the drinks are hard, and the atmosphere is to die for. The restaurant radiates a since of class and elegance. I?m in my early 40's and still have a spark left; I?ve been dancing since I was 12 and have a great time at Modavi, because I can dance my heart away all night long. The music is good and the dance floor is very large. I love this place.

A ROMANTIC MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!

Thank you Mr. Schaper and the staff of Modavi Restaurant for your assistance with my surprise proposal to my now future wife. I had contacted the owner of Modavi Restaurant, Mr. Schaper, to assist me with the arrangements. Dim lights, a table setting under the palm tree, the candle flickering, it was all so romantic and the perfect setting for my proposal. After dinner I had preplanned to order a bottle of Champagne. I had asked Mr. Schaper to drop the ring in her Champaign glass. We toasted to our romantic dinner and a special night. I waited for her to notice it. I then got on my knee, got the ring and placed on her finger as I asked her to be my wife. She was completely caught by surprise, the look on her face I will never forget. She said yes!!!!!!

Once again thank you Mr. Schaper and the staff of Modavi Restaurant for such

a memorable occasion.

Admirable restaurant !

I must confess, this is the first time that I had ever posted a comment on the web regarding an experience that I have had in the marketplace. Seeing as I have witnessed the commitment to serve this community with such dedication by the owner of Modavi Restaurant, for whatever it?s worth, I am moved to speak my voice. I have been a patron of Modavi Restaurant for quite some time and have witnessed the trials and tribulations this man has endured. From demographic labor pool pits to economic kayos, this man remains committed to succeed. Although at times it may seem that he does not care about his patrons, I have come to understand that taken on the task that he does, he truly cares but just doesn?t have the time to often show it. Time that is to greet and socialize with his customers. Myself and other regulars have truly witnessed the passion and commitment that this owner and staff of Modavi Restaurant have put forth and we really appreciate that. Hats off to him. I wish him all the success. He truly deserves it!!!

We love it!

We visit Modavi on a regular basis. The ambience is both lively, if you are in the bar, or serene, if you are having dinner. The food is fabulous too. Our favorites are the blackened grouper and the filet/lobster combo. We always have such a nice time here that I threw a surprise 50th for my husband. What a blast! If you are coming in just to have a drink at the bar or staying for a nice romantic dinner, you can't go wrong at Modavi!

GREAT PLACE FOR PARTIES!!!

Modavi is the best place in Atlanta for any special events. I was so pleased at how wonderful my 40th surprise birthday party went. The staff was so accommodating. The food display was beautiful, and everything went so smooth. Everyone got there before I did. I arrived at about 7:30 to discover about 150 family & friends shouting surprise!!!! Upon my arrival. The party was served cocktails and hors d?oeurves for a couple of hours. The ambiance was wonderful. It just makes you feel good. At about 10:00pm the DJ began playing music. They have a beautiful dance floor that my party was enjoying all night. I meat the owner as he personally came and wished me a happy birthday. The owner was so pleasant. He offered me and my husband the restaurants limo to take us home. It was all just perfect. I sincerely enjoyed every minute of my experience at Modavi. Thank you so much!!!

BEST RESTAURANT AND NIGHT CLUB EVER!

modavi restaurant is the best place in the world. every time i goin in to modavi i have a fantastic time and so does everyone that i am with. the food is amazing, the service is great, there are so amazing things i could say about modavi i would be typing here all day. i am just shocked how amazing modavi is! not to forget there sushi is good as well.

P.S: everyone who reads this site, dont read the the bad comments. they just probley trying to slamder modavi just because thats what type of people they are. if you really wont to have a good time, go to modavi and see for your self.

Avoid for bday parties for sure!

my friend had her bday party there...food was horrible..service was horrible and they have 3 bartenders at the most. I am so suprised they have made it this long. Just horrible

Dont EAT HERE!!!

Suburban dwellers be warned this IS NOT a place for fine cuisine it?s more of just a bar.

Website states that they have sushi (NOPE), half the items on there menu, they were out of. One waitress for the entire restaurant, food was cold and to salty. When asked to speak to the manager she was to busy to speak with us b/c she was managing the bar in the other room (which WASN?T slammed). Food was very pricy when asked if you wanted a side with your meal it was an extra cost.

When ordering shots at the bar don?t expect a lot for your buck, expect less then what u think. As for the entertainment Saturday night states club fusion live DJ, lets say club fusion LIVE JAZZ BAND, with in-between dance music.

Do not go to this place!!! Do not even try it!

We went there for our Valentine's dining experience. What a horrible one!!! I made reservation for 9:00 pm, when we got there at 8:45 pm the hostess said they will not be able to sit us until probably 9:30 pm because they were shorthanded, Hello!!!! not of my business!, you should adapt to change, if not you will die! Even so we decided to stay, then whe we finally got our table, around 9:15 pm, the booth table was not centered, my wife is pregnant, so she could not fit. They even said that unfortunately there will not be another table available (no staff to accomodate one!!!), on top of this, the booth behind us they have been waiting 30 min for a bottle of wine. We ended leaving and going to a nearby Applebees.

• Cons: Service is the worst I have ever experienced.
