Great food
by Grendel at Citysearch
I just had the best sandwich (Jojah Reuben) at Muss & Turners. Based on the ingredients, it should have disintegrated after I removed the toothpick. I don't know how or why it stayed together, but it did. Not only did it defy the messiness I expected, it was delicious. The unique combination of ingredients was fresh and very tasty. Muss & Turner's prices are a little higher than most lunch spots in the area, but I will gladly pay a little more for something extraordinary! The service was pleasant, and it was a great place to relax for a late lunch and read a few chapters of my book.
- Pros: good food in a pleasant atmosphere
- Cons: self service and a little on the pricy side
A must do for food lovers!

This local eatery has it all! Great sandwiches and soups for lunch, great entrees and salads for dinner, and some delicious sweets for any time of the day. The weekly beer and wine tastings are another great reason to stop in, as many of the spirits available on their large and frequently updated list are chosen by their patrons. I personally appreciate the mood and vibe always expressed when I frequent this "foodie heaven." Having lived around the city since 1969, I can truly say that this is one of the best kept secrets in Atlanta. Don't be fooled by the "outside the perimeter" address...this is a must do for all of you that appreciate great food, surrounded by great people. Muss & Turner's is a gem in the crown of Atlanta's culinary offerings!
- Pros: Extensive wine list, menu constantly updated, amazing flavors!
- Cons: Closes early on Sunday
Great neighborhood dinner spot
by RLEvans at Citysearch
We stumbled across this restaurant after hearing much about it from friends and reviews. Muss & Turner's is a great local spot with a huge wine list, excellent beers and everything from gourmet seated dinner to wine & cheese to prepared takeout of meats and gourmet sides. We really like this place and plan to make it a regular spot for us in Smyrna.
Great Lunch!
by todd1001 at Citysearch
I had heard a lot of good things about this eatery and finally stopped by for lunch. The sanwich list is long and unique. The fresh made fries were delicious! They have a large porch for outside dining - like many of the other places at Ivy Walk. The prices were a bit high - but the food was great!
- Pros: Good Food
- Cons: Price
Great service, fabulous wine and beer list, food is EXCELLENT
by au3delta at Citysearch
I was skeptical when my friends from the Smyrna area raved about Muss & Turner's until I moved there myself. Their menu is excellent and the accompanying wine list / beer list is one of the best in the city. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a great gourmet take away counter, cheese and deli selection, and a dessert case to DIE for. I take out of town guests here all the time and I've never had bad feedback. Their outdoor deck is great for spring and summer. One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Period.
- Pros: Wine list, beer list, food, dessert selection, deli, cheese shop
- Cons: Small seating area can sometimes lead to a wait time
Pleasant atmosphere, gratifying food

Excellent service.
Charming wine bar area ... great place to sip a glass of wine after work.
Very flexible...offered to modify items if something on the menu didn't meet our needs (i.e. vegetarian).
Food was different, fresh, and yummy.
Lastly ... it's not a chain!
- Pros: Service, Food
- Cons: Price
Nice addition to the area
by mcoreo at Citysearch
Nice to have something more upscale in the area. That being said the prices are high and the selection is a bit low. But, if you want a 75 dollar tomahawk steak or something else over the top, this is the place to go. Lots of items you do not find many other places and the patio is nice. The employees were nice and funny too!
- Pros: Choices you do not find in the area, employees nice, food made fresh
- Cons: Not alot of choice, prices way high
Cheery Smyrna eatery raises culinary standards in the suburbs.

The Scene
The orange signs in this booming town-square type development lead to a sunny and welcoming deli/restaurant. The interiors are bright and relaxing with clean, light woods, a curved wine bar and cases full of gourmet butter, cheeses and meats. A chef takes your order and counter workers will cart takeout items to your car. Dinner features table-service from upbeat employees.
The Food
Whimsically named sandwiches are robust and outstanding, especially the slow-smoked, pulled pork with spicy slaw and applewood bacon, which is a succulent, messy delight. The southern fried chicken breast on a massive "dog head biscuit" is a meal for two. The shrimp salad is a creamy classic full of mayo and dill. Desserts rotate, but the ultra-moist, frosting-rich carrot and unusual polenta/rosemary/raspberry cake are standouts, along with the oversized ginger dark chocolate cookies and whatmawhats, a chocolate/praline confection topped with sea salt.
For Foodlovers

The atmosphere is simple, but the staff is knowledgeable and dedicated to one common goal: the promotion of great food and drinks. You'll find that just about everyone there knows a ton about the product, and the product itself is great food at a really reasonable price. If you're in the Smyrna/Vinings area, this should be one of your regular spots!
Excellent service with incredible food!

It seems that the person that made the other posting was mistaken. This place offers some of the best service in Atlanta, curteous and attentive to your needs. The sandwhiches are out of this world, and the selection of cheeses, wines, desserts, and prepared foods is hard to beat! This should be on everyone's "do not miss list".
- Pros: food, wines, service
