Best place for "Down Low" Gay men to meet

THERE ARE SO MANY “UNDERCOVER” GAY MEN IN ATLANTA AND THEY ALL COME HERE. My girlfriends and I went to Onyx this past Tuesday. I was attracted to the idea that men had to pay a $40 cover charge to get in. We thought with a cover charge like that the club would be full of Atlanta’s finest. We expected to see the men dressed up for the ladies but once inside it was nothing but Gettooooo. And the worst part about the whole club is that 60% of the club was filled with Atlanta’s down low gay men. I’m talking about the butt-f**king gay men who have baby momma’s ONLY to hide their gay tendencies. Also, this club claims to be an “Upscale Gentleman’s Club”…just because they charge an outrageous cover charge does not mean that it is upscale. All it means is that some broke azz just spent all of his money getting into the club and will not be buying drinks or anything else once inside. PATHETIC.

pretty club

The bartender with the sleeve tattoo gave me a different price on the same drink 3 times! And she had a very bad attitude she was swamped and it did not seem that busy. The door people were angry, and the staff complained about the managers and the way the club was ran. I stayed an hour cause i wanted to get my monies worth, i got there at 11:45pm i paid $40 to get in (4 friends too!) I guess we came to late to pay $20. VERY OVER RATED!

• Cons: goth manager / over heard sleeps in coffin!

Not Good Business!!

After being a member for so long the respect has changed and as a business i think it can be much better!!! I was moved from were i was and almost near getting put out because i used gold silver dollars. Sense when has that not been money!!! I have plenty of them that i collect as well as cash!!! Money is money!! Tried too bring something new too the game!!

Just an Angry Club

The door guys were nice, but everyone seemed angry in the club. Girls were cute and thick. But the attitude was bad, from the goth manager to the bar maids.

Beautiful Women

Went there on a Saturday in May of 08. The women were on point pretty and thick not fat. Black and spanish women drinks were cheap 9 dollar long islands. One stage one bar but the club was big enough. Girls were nice and gave good dances. The only problem was they had crazy minmums I tired to get money with my credit card they had a 500 dollar minimum. I had 80 in cash they wouldnt give you change unless you had 100.

Great girls, but pressure to spend

I went to Onyx a few months ago. Its $20 to get in the door. Its pretty cool on the inside. The set up isn't anything special but it does the job. The music is bangin' if you like hip hop There is only one stage and one bar. Its not the biggest club. Seating seemed to be a problem. I guess because I went on a Saturday night. Oh and don't even sit down unless you're going to spend A LOT. We bought drinks when we first came in, but the waitress got mad when we didn't order the second round as soon as she wanted us to. Also, when I went to get change for two twenties, the woman giving the change told me "well we normally only break hundreds" and at first, tried to act like she wasn't going to give me the change. I should have told her "forget it, then. I won't spend ANY money here." And she had the nerve to have a tip jar. Did she really expect people to tip when she's making a fuss about how much money they're spending?

On the other hand the girls there are usually black or Spanish and are very pretty. But I can only give this club a three because the great girls don't make up for the condescending way they treat people just because they aren't spending by the hundreds.

Don't bother, no girls

I've been to club few times, not very pretty girls. Not many girls at all. Place is always empty, even sat. nite. All flash and no substance. Plus, the drinks are the most expensive out of all the clubs I been to

Pretty Good

Well this place is on par with most strip clubs in Atlanta. I have been about 3 times with different results each night. Sometimes this place can be dead as a doornail, but the next night its nothing but beautiful women. The girls usually nice, and always come and sit down with you. You are never pressured to buy drinks here either. I would recommend this club if you haven't gone. Admission is $10 + $3 for parking, dances are $10 but usually no grinding unless you are ready to spend some $$$.
