I like both Twist and Shout for the food, cocktails and the beautiful customers. This is a very trendy restaurant.

I threw my 30th birthday party at Shout on 6/28 and had a great time. I had a party of about 30 people and had made the dinner reservation about a month before the event. I was helped by a woman named Paula who made sure everything was taken care of. She was courteous and very responsive to my questions and concerns. My party and I had a nice semi-private area in the rear of the restaurant with a long table that accommodated all of us nicely. The main server's service was okay- nothing to rave about, but I also understand that it's difficult tending to so many guests. The food was okay as well. I had the mozarella and tomato salad, which was really just tomato and mozarella cheese with balsamic vinegar drizzled on top. There was no "salad," per se, just some frilly green stuff on top, which may have been alfalfa or something. I scraped it off and ate the tomato and mozarella cheese. I also had a raspberry mint mojito, which I did like. Overall, Shout was nice. I really liked the ambience, the music and the vibe of the restaurant. I would go again with a smaller group and next time check out the rooftop area with the Miami-style cabanas. I would recommend Shout to anyone who is into the downtown urban trendy scene. Dress to impress and be prepared to spend some $$.
Pros: Atmosphere, Music
Cons: $$, Parking

Service was terrible and the food was terrible. Drinks were okay and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered the Mahi Mahi- it looked disgusting and tasted awful. Even our salad was pre-made and tasted as though it had been sitting around for awhile. Very disappointing.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Food and service

I went there for dinner and the portions were real small but the prices were big. The food wasnt even that good. Wouldn't reccomend this for a dinner spot.
Pros: Nice Atmosphere
Cons: pricey

I went to Shout for a bachelorette party on a Saturday night. It started off bad when we had to wait to be seated after making reservations nearly a week in advance. 10 friends of mine made reservations for 10:00pm....we were seated at 10:40pm. Apparently a lot of prom kids were there so they were behind. So we were seated in a private area with another large party there for a birthday. I had read in another review that it was very dark and that was definitely the truth. Our area actually was a little better lit than the rest of the place. I started off the night with a banana hammock for $7.50 and it was pretty good but a little small for a cocktail (about the size of a scotch glass). There were several mojitos on the list for $8.50 which were very good also. I tried the Number two, Rasberry Coconut mojito, and a mai tai (which was not on the menu, but the bartender made it anyway). To eat, I had the crunchee roll on the sushi menu...very good. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. One of my friends had pizza which I tried and also was good. However, tension seemed to rise when the waitress completely screwed up the bill of three of my friends, not once, not twice, but THREE times! She was polite at first, but when she brought the third bill she just gave it to her and walked off without saying a word. After dinner (around 12:30am) we went upstairs to the patio/club/bar area. I had looked at the pictures on the official website and it looked relaxing, beautiful, and elegant. I didn't see any of that. It was crowded, loud, and basically like any average bar/club. I wanted to go to Shout because it looked unique, but it was really just ordinary.
Pros: food, drinks
Cons: service, ambience

Shout provides customers with a variety of items to choose from with their ecclectic menu. My roomate and I go there every Tuesday because it is half price bottles of wine!! The atmosphere is very unique and the rooftop patio is one of the best in the City. However the service at Shout tends to be a little on the slow side so if your in a hurry- you may want to go somewhere else!

Oh My Goodness!!!! That was awesome. Some girlfriends and I decided to go to SHOUT to celebrate my birthday last night (Saturday night). We had a dinner party that started off with 6 and ended with 10 and there were no complaints. Our table was in the back part of the restaurant so it was an intimate celebration...PERFECT. We had tons of fun making shout outs back and forth to the large party next to us (WHAT'S UP Chris!!!). Drinks: First off the drinks were fabulous...the Fusion martini is a must! Entree: Salads were good...the Caesar dressing needs a little work but the Chipotle Ranch got raving reviews at the table. We all ordered entrees since the tapas are a bit pricey. The Spinach and Cheese pizza are awesome. And the table shared the eel, avocado sushi and no one could stop talking about it. Dessert: The Cheese Cake is very good. The brownie isn't anything to talk about. People Watching: The original plan was to leave SHOUT after dinner and go somewhere else to finish the night. But SHOUT is amazing and that never happened...we went up stairs to check it out and ended up in a Cabana ordering drinks and hitting the dance floor. This one of the best places in Atlanta for people watching...great mix of everybody (A dispute broke out but security handled it before it got out of hand). Music: The DJ was awesome. He played enough of everything and if you requested it he had it. Needless to say we ended up with a group of 10 and we all had a fabulous time!!!! My birthday celebration could not have been better!!!! Thanks SHOUT for accommodating us.
Pros: Dinner/Club combination, Rooftop, Ambience
Cons: Valet $10, Parking Garage $11 MAX (but you can leave when you are ready instead of the VALET wait)

Wow! What a great Saturday night! I went into SHOUT with my girlfriends not really knowing what to expect. I heard that they had a DJ and a dancefloor....but I had no idea how much fun that could be. We had dinner at the bar downstairs. GREAT service! Then we headed upstairs and were greeted by a manager and ushered to a open cabana, where we proceeded to get another round of drinks.....and it was on! The DJ was very friendly, played a good mix of music. The bar staff outside was FANTASTIC, they joked with us and made us part of their fun. We never waited for a thing. So different than other bars in this town!!! (And there is no cover charge!!) The view from the patio upstairs is really cool, and the dancefloor is hot. I would highly recommend checking it out. But get there early if you want to sit down.
Pros: Outside Bar and Dancefloor

Citysearch, you are so outdated! You really do a disservice to all small business / restaurant owners in Atlanta by offering a forum for disgruntled guests to whine on incessantly about their "poor service", and "dashed expectations." I find your reports to be one-sided....not to mention from THE YEAR 2005! Get it up to date!
Pros: Bar Scene Rocks, Great Dance Floor
Cons: Valets
