Wow is the first thing i must say the pizza was fantastic!

I am a foodie and Pizza snob but this pizza parallel some of the beautiful street fares in the sweet city of Roma!

Try it you won't be disappointed!

Located just down the street from the King Center, walking inside the barred windows and heavy door of Edgewood Avenue Pizza immediately conjures up a mix of downtown Manhattan pizzaria mixed with dirty south attitude. Pizza by the slice is dished up and served to diners having to fit in the scarce seating inside or the sidewalk standup table. Local urban art is showcased heavily on the green and orange painted walls, while the lack of A/C hinted of the no nonsense feeling of the joint. And as for the slices--they were surprisingly delicious. Droopy and flimsy yet still curiously still crusty with gooey cheese dashed with oregano and toppings like the spicy pepperoni or specialty slices like Hawaiian or bacon cheeseburger

Best Pizza Intown ATL

Yes, it's better than Felini's, Johnny's, and Savage. Liro's is on Edgewood near Boulevard, across the street from Javaology. The crust melts in your mouth. The atmosphere - well, there isn't any really. But on nice days you can sit outside and watch the people go by.

Huge slices and Huge Taste

$2 for a slice that is twice the size of a Fellini's or Mellow Mushroom slice is only the beginning. The sauce and toppings are very tasty. The service was very attentive, although our visit was not a normal meal time. Parking was the only challenge, but on the weekends a street space is easy to find < 2 blocks walk.

Best Slice Hands Down!

Liro's has the biggest slice, the coolest location, and the best toppings in town. Nobody beats this place period.
