Worst experience ever!

Untrained and unethical!!!!!! Jessica the owner can't cut hair to save her life and was yelling at her staff right in front of me. This was my first time to Salon Red as I just moved here from out of state. It was a Saturday morning and I could tell they were busy but that is no reason to yell at someone. The staff member she was yelling at was just some young guy, I felt really bad for him.. She was so focused on everyone else and her own personal problems that she jacked up my hair. Also, and this is the worst part, there were fruit flies everywhere, I thought I was going to get sick! I guess the ac had broken and they opened up the doors. At any rate for 75 dollars I expected much, much, more.

Alana Rocks!

Alana is the kind of stylist everyone dreams of finding!

I have been going to her for three or four years, and I have always been knocked out with the results. She is a genius at looking at the (sometimes slightly unrealistic) pictures of hairstyles that I like and adapting them so that they work for me. She is an amazing colorist, too--perfect highlights every time!

In addition to her phenomenal talent, she is fun to chat with and also gives lots of great tips for staying within a budget.

Alana is the best!

Alana is Fabulous!

I have been going to Alana at Salon Red for about about two years and she is the best colorist/stylist I have ever been to in Atlanta! I always look forward to our great conversation and her fabulous results. She demands perfection of herself and the support staff but if pays off because I have NEVER been unhappy with my cut or color. Book an appointment now!

JESSICA!

Jess cut and colored my hair Saturday. She used highlights, putting in several shades of blonde and a few lighter brown. Jess took my hair from being inverted, layered and stacked to a blunt bob. Very fresh! I have very baby fine hair but also a lot of it, a stylist has to pay a lot of attention to what they're doing and she rocked it. Oh and it was my birthday and EVERYONE was in love with my hair that night. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Definitely going back!

If you have to see anyone, it's Atwood!

About a year ago, I was looking for a great stylist. Nothing too expensive and nothing too cheap. At first I was I was skeptical but decided to go.

Atwood is very friendly and does an excellent job for women who have natural hair. My hair is extremely tight coiled and she did an excellent job doing it! She listened to what I wanted! Her cuts are amazing too! I left the salon feeling really great!

I would recommend her for women who have curly hair/natural hair! Trust me, it's worth it!

Excellent style, Excellent sylist!

If you are new to the area and are looking for a great stylist, go see Atwood!

I moved to Atlanta a few months ago, and was in desperate need of a haircut to freshen my look just in time for the holidays. I was a bit nervous about trying somewhere new because before moving, I had been going to the same stylist for as long as I can remember. A friend recommended Salon Red, and I made a last minute appointment with Atwood.

Atwood was very friendly and welcoming, and did an excellent job giving me the style I wanted. When she was done, my hair looked amazing! I left the salon rejuvenated and feeling really great about my hair. I can't wait to take holiday pictures now!

This is my second time going to Stacy Atwood at Salon Red. She is the best - a GREAT cut, and my color looks totally natural (red, which is hard), beautiful, and healthy. I also thought her pricing is very reasonable. Completely satisfied and will return!

I have been a customer at Salon Red in Decatur for about 2 years. I feel as though I am a picky customer, in that I have a certain color I like to get highlighted in my hair... blond, but not yellowy blond, yet just the right amount of shine (blah, blah - you get the picture...). I must say though, since I've been going to Atwood at Salon Red, she's pinpointed the color perfectly! I have always walked out of the salon a satisfied customer, feeling refreshed and ready to start a new day! Atwood is such a caring stylist, really taking into consideration what you, the customer, wants done to your hair. She's friendly, yet confident in her abilities. I appreciate that!

My husband and I just bought a house about 45 minutes south of Atlanta and I still plan to keep Atwood as my stylist... the drive is worth it!

Best place in town for a great haircut!

For the last two years, I have been going to get my hair cut at Salon Red with Stacy Atwood. Her wit, good spirits, and intelligence are not the only reasons I keep up with my appointments. Atwood is the best hairdresser I have ever encountered. She turned my hair from an ugly bob into a beautiful curly Grecian look! And not just for the one day that she cuts it. It stays beautiful and healthy permanently! Go to her for the same wonderful treatment every time!
