Cancellation fee is went up to $75!!!!!!!

EEEKKK! A $75.00 cancellation fee for not calling with in 24 hours. It is crazy for a procedure that really takes less than 5 minutes to charge such rates. What can I do, they already have all my money.

Worst place in the world

This place is a joke. I went there for over 2 years for laser hair removal on my face and have had absolutley no results from the insanely painful experience. They say it's painless, but it's like getting hot rubber bands continuously snapped on your face. Now that I want my money back for not getting any results, I've been given the run around for 4 months from Leslie the manager in Buckhead and Nina the regional manager. Nina has not returned my phone calls for the last two weeks and Leslie's worse. After three months of phone calls (where I was tempted to just go into the clinic because I couldn't get a call back), she dragged the process on and on with her "non-responder charts" and talking to corporate, Leslie said that I was going to be issued a refund. That never came so I called back and was told that I would have to grow all the hair out and come in for pictures! I don't think so! If I don't get my money back soon, I'm taking them to small claims court. Lynn428- are you interested?

BIG SCAM!!! I never got the results they promised either. I've been going for 3 years and I've been shaving my upper lip in between treatments like they suggested. I'm worse off then before. I tried complaining to the manager, who was all of 18. I gave her the name of the manager who sold me the package and she even agreed that there had been other complaints about the false claims. She offered me another package at half the price. What a joke. Anybody else interested in taking them to small claims. I'm not done with them yet. slv4@charter,net

I "won" $300 off any package so I went ahead and had a consultation. I have worked with laser hair removal in the past and was well aware of how treatments work and cost. These people are ripoffs. They overcharge on the packages and try to bully you into signing up for treatments. It was like working with a used car guy. It's been over three months since my appointment and they are still calling me to come in and sign up for the rtreatments even though I was told that my $300 expired after 30 days. The district manager is even calling me now. There are plenty of other specialist in the Atlanta area that offer laser hair removal at a fraction of the cost and with the same machines and experience.

Scam artists

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. I bought a treatment package. At my consultation I signed a form that lists about two dozen requirements and recommendations to be followed in order for the guarantee to apply, though this fact is stated on a different form. It did NOT require use of their ridiculously expensive lotion ($35 for 8-10 oz), though it was pushed hard. When I went back to buy the package, they slipped me a different form that says you must use it for 3-4 days after each treatment, or the 2-year guarantee is void. That bait-and-switch adds substantially to the cost of the treatments.

I was told that I'd get treatments till there was no regrowth for two solid years. Not true. It's 2 yrs after the 6th ("final") treatment, which are spaced 3 months apart, so that 2 years expires quickly. After 6 treatments + 2 yrs, you must buy more treatments or just continue to shave. One of the clerks later let this slip: "Don't be concerned that you still have so much hair after six treatments. Six is just a very basic beginning." They also will TELL you that the removal is permanent, but in WRITING it's "hair reduction." In other words, they can take your money and give you little or nothing in return.

Too much fast talk, too surly/incompetent a staff once they've got your money, never the same tech twice, they can't keep a staff. After 11 treatments and nearly 3 years, I still have to shave my legs, so I've wasted hundreds of dollars and hours of time. And even after I flat-out said "No," when asked if I'd be interested in a facelift, the tech continued to recite prices and packages. They can't clear my legs of hair, but I'm supposed to give them more money and let them near my face with a laser?

Warning. This is a Scam!!!

Purchased a 2 year laser hair removal treatment package to remove facial hair 10/01/04 paid $1299.50. Manager at the time was Shannon and she informed me results were guaranteed or I'd get a full refund. I should see hair loss after the 1st or 2nd treatment & should be completely hair free 6th treatment. I've had 13 treatments and no results. And this has been a nightmare. Their money back guarantee is a scam!!! Please do yourself a favor and don't go here!!!

• Cons: waste of money. painful, doesn't work, unsanitary .. use same laser on bikini area and armpits of one customer then use on next customer's face.

This place is awesome!! I am having wonderful results and the staff make you feel right at home! Trust me--I have had treatments at other laser centers and you have to keep purchasing additional treatments. At American Laser Centers they give you a 2 year guarantee after your 6th treatment so they will keep treating you until the hair is gone!!
