The Intercontinental is probably the best hotel in Atlanta (and I've stayed in many). The staff can be stuffy and you still get that corporate Holiday Inn feel sometimes, but overall I would recommend this hotel

Pros: Overall Hotel Experience

Cons: Prices

Thanks to this site we chose the Intercontinental and couldn't have been more pleased! Yes, the rooms are quite small but every inch is packed with luxury.

This is a first class hotel. The rooms are spacious with the most comfortable beds. The staff is superior with assistanace to and from rooms from check-in to check-out. The food from room service tastes wonderful and is hot upon delivery. The amenities are superb. Hot tubs are amongst the best in Atlanta. This is a must stay for luxury hotel lovers. Perfect for and romantic getaway or a busniess stay.

Pros: Ambience

Cons: Parking

This new hotel is best luxury under $300/night. Aside from the Ritz, Four Seasons crowd, this the bes luxury in Atlanta. Rooms are super. Late night dining is best in ATL and jazz trio at sidewalk bar is awesome.

little slice of heaven in the city. Great staff, sunday brunch to die for! worth the price. found a great deal on hotwire at the last minute. The down side internet was an extra fee and parking Worth every penny

Pros: the bathroom tub & sunday brunch

Cons: parking way to $$$- internet was not included in hotel price

I loved the service and the rooms were amazing! Nice and relaxing weekend for two! We're planning another stay for our anniversary. The room service was fast and really good, which can be uncommon even for the most upscale hotels.

Pros: beautiful rooms

Cons: expensive

We got a great hotwire deal at the Intercontinental. The room was on the small side (although not by Atlanta standards--having stayed in some tiny rooms downtown) but it was well appointed. Bathroom was gorgeous and spacious with marble tile and a deep soaking tub. The bed was a dream in terms of comfort. The staff was gracious. A small problem with the bathroom sink was fixed within a couple of hours while we were out to dinner. The bar is great for drinks and people watching and on the Friday night we were there had a really good jazz trio. It was a perfect spot for hanging out and relaxing. Location is convenient to restaurants and bars. My only complaint was that check in was slow: not enough clerks and too many in line, but it they did attempt to remedy the situation.

Pros: bed, bar, bathroom

Granted we stayed in the Presidential Suite on our wedding night, so this review may be a little biased. The staff at the hotel was extremely pleasant and responsive. The turn down service, as silly as it sounds, made me feel so relaxed. They turned on the fireplace, had soft music and dim light. Of course chocolates, but they even sprinkled pink rose petals through-out the bedroom and bathroom. Room service was prompt and their breakfast was delicious. Valets were responsive as was the front desk. We had a wonderful experience here.

Pros: service, great food

Cons: price

On several occasions my lover and I saty at the hotel for weekend pleasure getaways. We live together, but it's a great way to feel romantic with the cost of an airline ticket.
