Morgan @ Soda Saved My Hair!!!

I am typically a client of Kyle's at Soda - Grant Park (who is fabulous! A master of color!). While on a recent business trip to Miami, I thought I was lucky enough to "score" a last minute appt at a high end salon for color & highlights. The color/highlight process took so long (and the colorist left the toner on my hair for about 40 minutes) that I didn't have time for a dry and had to rush out the door with wet hair to head to the airport (after paying a small fortune). When I got to the airport and visited the ladies room, I looked in the mirror & discovered that my hair was blue and charcoal grey. In tears, I called the MIami salon and they said not to worry, it was just toner and would wash out. Once I got home, and 6 shampoos later, it was still blue & grey, only now was breaking off mid-strand. In a panic I called for Kyle but he was on vacation. Luckily, Morgan in Roswell was available! She was a complete sweetheart, and after two color processes and a vitamin treatment (amen for Kerastase!!) I left with a silky shiny mane, that was totally passable for natural. She saved my hair, and I am forever greatful!!! (and now I can't decide whether to go back to Kyle or Morgan... :o)

Julie is my stylist, and she's terrific. I finally, at 47 years old, have the first hair style I've ever liked and look good in! I love Soda's service, ambiance, amenities. Try it, you'll love it.

Artsy, Unique, and Genius

I think the location is clever, and the artsy yet modern styles of meeting together to coexist make this place, alongside of J. Christophers, a place to go and pamper yourself. It is tucked away to a certain extent but once inside definitely stands out in more ways than one. You can even buy paintings in there if you like. I went to Elise and she knew exactly what to do with my hair and for it since it was badly damaged prior too. I have been getting non stop compliments from everyone due to her genius artistic ability. The cut she gave me (mind you my hair is long and thick) was perfect, framing my face and lightening the load :( My hair is bouncy, perky and soft once again, and the color is rich and stunning. She did a great job and this was my first time there. I recommend her and this salon!!!

Elise = Excellent

Before going to Soda, I was a serial salon hopper. I had never had a haircut at the same salon twice. At other salons, even if I was satisfied, the cut was either too expensive or it seemed like the stylists had butchered their own hair so much they forgot what it was like to have...hair. Fortunately, I found the best stylist in the Atlanta metro area--ELISE--at Soda Salon. The salon is beautiful, and everyone is super nice. Elise gave me the most wonderful shampoo I've ever had--it felt like I was there for a day at the spa and not just a haircut. Elise listened to my styling concerns and made my gnarly long hair as soft and lush as a Victoria Secret model's, while still keeping it at the length I requested. It's obvious Elise is a mature stylist, with her own hair looking healthy and natural (instead of bleached out and mangy--you know the stylists I'm referring to!) She is a delight to chat with and sent me out the door with a ready-to-go blow dry and style...all for under 40 bucks. I'm definitely a repeat customer! Thanks Elise!

Elise is a true artist!

Just had my hair cut and colored by Elise at Soda salon. I really didn't think my hair could look this good! She has that rare ability to match a person with just the style for them. She is truly an artist, and very sweet as well.

People are telling me I look 10 years younger!

The salon is very relaxed and friendly, with inrteresting artwork on the walls. Altogether a great experience.

voted top salon in atlanta? i think not.

My experience at Soda was not what I was expecting from a so-called "top" salon. I was miss booked for an appointment with a stylist which first of all was not my fault but my hair had to suffer.Went back to get color corrected, stylist said I told her that I wanted my hair that color and was basically told me that it was my fault for the way the color came out. She also told me that I would be charged for seeing a different stylist (when receptionist on the phone told me I wouldn't). I expect someone from a top salon would have been able to look at my hair and know exactly what to do right away. Instead, was looked at like I didn't know what I wanted and stylist didn't know how to correct something that seemed so simple.

Never coming back to this salon again, very unprofessional staff for a place that is supposed to be the best around!

LOVE MY HAIR by ELISE!

This past Monday was my first experience with Soda and Elise. I am always nervous about trying out a new salon/stylist, but now I definitely will not go anywhere else but Soda. The whole vibe of the salon is very artistic, yet still is very intimate. You don't have to worry about "stuck-up" stylists, everybody was extremely friendly.

I went in the ratty, nasty split ends and an all-around dull hair. I thought it was going to take a miracle to make my hair have life again. Once Elise was done with my hair, not only did it look like it was full of life again, but also she gave me exactly what I wanted: a new hair style with notable difference, but still "me." She made me feel comfortable with all that she was doing, and gave the BEST shampoo ever!

I can't wait for my next appointment :)

Love, love,love Soda

I can't tell enough people about David @ Soda. He is amazing. I came to him with "problem hair". My hair is fine and not so easy to work with. David was professional and very realistic about what he could do with it. He absolutly delivered on his promise of a great haircut. I even loved the cut as it grew out over the next 8 weeks. I look forward, with much anticipation, to my next visit to Soda, to see David. I trust he will give me as good a result with my color.

Fabulous hair stylist

I am so pleased with finding Sara! I was seeing the same person for years never happy with the haircuts i was getting. A friend ( with great hair) recommended Sara at Soda ,Roswell. She has vision on what your hair should look like and what it can and cannot do. She gave me a consult and a great cut. She's young and very stylish-that's the kind of person i want doing my hair-Don't you? i've seen her 2 times now and she's consistent. I get compliments on my hair all the time now. Thanks Sara!

So happy with my hair!

My entire experience at Soda was terrific, from beginning to end! I called to make an appointment for a cut and color, and they fit me in for the same afternoon. The salon itself is impressive, very laid back and cool, with beautiful artwork on the walls. I saw Elise, and I was extremely impressed when she sat down with me and asked me exactly what I wanted, and offered her opinions without being pushy. I was not even sure myself of what exactly I wanted, but I knew my hair was in pretty bad shape, so I asked her what she thought. She had some great ideas for my hair, so I went with what she suggested. I am so happy that I did! Elise did a terrific job, she put so much time and effort into my hair. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror, it did not even look like my hair (in a good way)! I have already gotten a ton of compliments on my hair, which has not happened in a while! I would recommend Elise and Soda Salon to anyone looking for a new salon. I have definitely found mine!

Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere

All the staff makes you feel at home with something to drink and no-fuss. They are not dramming products to buy down your throat although they will make suggestions on something if they think it will help your specific needs. My hair has never felt better and I love my new cut. Morgan really listens to me and takes her time with my hair. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. Great experience!
