A rustic business getaway surrounded by mountain wilderness.

The Scene
Guests here enjoy 15 acres rife with North Georgia wildlife. Owls, hawks and bears populate this landscape that is home to awe-inspiring mountain peaks and the highest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. Hiking opportunities abound, although many visitors prefer to just sit in a rocking chair and contemplate the beautiful setting.

The Details
With its rough-hewn exterior, the lodge looks rustic. In fact, it was built in 1990 and offers every modern convenience. Along with team-building programs for conventioneers, activities include a ropes course and guided hikes. Five conference rooms and a ballroom for up to 500 welcome standard meetings and can also be used for themed events. This is an excellent location for business retreats, but it also caters to families. Fishing and volleyball are on offer, and there is a playground and on-site interpretive programs tailored especially for kids. The Maple Room Restaurant offers excellent dining.
