Ladies and Gentlemen!! I beg you do NOT use these guys. The good people of the world have to put them out of business, they lie, put the phone down, curse and swear. They have no idea of how to speak to a customer and no appreiation that they have everything you own in their deopt. The Reviews here are terrible and it speaks volumes. We all know and apprecaite that things go wrong but when they show no desire to put it right it's ridiculous. I looked on Google, and it looks like they have changed their name to get around the poor reviews they have. It looks as though they are now: ATLANTIC RELOCATION INC 4300 Bankers Circle, Suite D Atlanta, GA 30360 If you are looking to re-locate pay a few more $$ and get decent service.

Cons: Extended delays, lack of courtesy, lack of respect for your business or your possesions.

This was the absolute WORST nightmare of my life!!!!!! There are so many terrible things I want to tell you about this company but I don't have enough space. James gave me a low ball quote and then it ended up being over 2 times the original quote. The movers that showed up to move me into my new house consisted of 2 guys that didn't speak english and a 16 year old kid. They unloaded half of the truck and then demanded more money saying that moving the furniture into the house was a "long carry". They scratched the hardwood floors with the dolly, broke my desk, broke an antique chair...didn't even apologize. I have missing boxes and the owner Jay denies that any of my stuff is missing. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Just read the rest of the reviews...it says it all!

Pros: NONE!!!

Cons: Liars, broke furniture, unprofessional and RUDE (James and Jay)

LOOK AT THE 15 NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND ADD THIS ONE TO IT AND IF YOU WANT YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS HANDLED SAFELY, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING SOMEONE ELSE THAT IS MORE PROFESSIONAL. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS. YOU CAN ALSO GO TO THE BBB'S WEBSITE AND SEE THAT THEY ARE ON SUSPENSION WITH OVER 30 CLAIMS FILED AGAINST THEM AND WE WILL BE ADDING TO THAT NUMBER AS WELL. JAMES AND JAY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS. I COULD BEGIN TO TELL YOU THE NIGHTMARE MOVING SCENARIO HOWEVER IT IS QUITE COMPLICATED & LENGTHY. I JUST HOPE THAT STRENGTH IN NUMBERS WILL HELP PUT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS.

I used this company to move my grandmother's 2 bedroom apartment. They sent the three men and 27 foot truck exactly as promised. The three men did a really amazing job at protecting the large fragile pieces, and also worked quickly and efficiently. Also, the price was great for 7 hours of work with such a nice-sized truck and such experienced workers. They made one logistical mistake but they corrected it in time. My only problem with the company was the fact that you can only pay in cash or money order. You put your deposit on a credit card, but believe me, you can ONLY settle up the difference in cash, so be prepared.

Pros: Handling of valuable big furniture, price, friendliness

Cons: Only take cash

These are a bunch of liars and scams that even work for the company. James and Jay will call you as though they have the best rates, and appear very pleasant. After you schedule a move date all HELL breaks loose. The two Foreign guys and child that came out to move me, which were to have been 4 men. First came in wanting to quote all these addtl prices and wanted to know if I spoke Spanish. That was because they were back on forth on the phone with the scandal managers. However, these fools even attempted to STEAL my possessions. The Police were called and both James and Jay were so irrational, screaming and cursing at the Police. I was quoted a move of price of $240.00 and after they WAISTED TIME fooling around demand $750.00 cash at 1:00 A.M in the morning or they would steal my possesions. However, I can't express enough not to use this company. I have contacted the BB Bureau, Sherrifs Department and am considering a local news Consumer Affair's Report. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . They do not need to be in business at all. These are criminals. Regardless of what they tell you do not consider this company. Let's work to put them out of business.

I called Advantage Movers about a month in advance to schedule my move - I called them once later to push the move back one day - at that point, the person who had handled my initial request was no longer working there. The day of the move, a man called at the time of the move that they would be three hours late. I thought, ok, well that's not great, but I thought I could wait. The man was relieved that I was generous about it. He then asked what I did for a living. I said I was a doctor. I asked if they would give me a discount and he said he did not have that authority. He called a couple of hours later saying that he could not even move me that day. I asked again if he could give me some kind of discount or reparation since I would have to pay another day of rent and then he said he had lied earlier and was actually the sales manager, and because of my profession that I could afford it and couldn't I move the next afternoon - I did not trust them at this point and made other arrangements. I then read these reviews, and totally agree with all of the negative ones. I should have read this feedback before. I asked for my $100 deposit, which he said would be returned to me. It took them nearly two months after multiple phone calls and e-mails before I ever got my money back. I still have not gotten the money I had to pay for an extra days rent and utilities and I doubt I will. But I urge you, please do not use them. It was a horrible experience.

Please Please Please Read this and EVERY other review about these scumbags! They are horrible people and Im sure they read these reviews and laugh! I wish I had found this site before hiring them to move my belongings from Ga to Ca. The original bid was substantially less than everyone else...that certainly changed! It ended up being double what legitimate movers were asking. I too originally spoke to Brad and when everything started to go sideways I was informed he no longer worked there. Given their track record probably a lie.The moving crew that showed up was unprofessional and continually hinting about being tipped for all their hard work...then I was handed a bill (adjustment) for boxing up boxes that were already in boxes! A 769.00 adjustment! When my belongings arrived in Ca they were in shambles.Boxes were smashed and an entertainment center destroyed. Glass was everywhere! I have made several attempts to contact them and recieved absolutely no response! I beg you not to follow in my footsteps and use these people. If you read the rest of the reviews you will see a constant theme. If anyone would like to see pictures of the condition of my furniture and belongings or if anyone can use them to put these scumbags OUT OF BUSINESS please let me know. Contact me at rhinorock@aol I have documented and photograghed everything from the original email to the final drop off point...my front yard! I am embarrassed to say that I tried to save a little money and got my butt handed to me with no chance of recourse...except maybe this ...if just one person reads this and ALL the rest of the following reviews maybe they wont get your business. This company has lot of charges that they do no tell you upfront and charge by the cubic feet. Estimation are off and they are extremely expensive. I paid because me items were ready to ship and I had my back against the proverbial wall. they charge high prices for packing material and also labor to pack in thier boxes is also expensive. Just a really bad compnay to do business with. Do not fall into the trap that I did and be taken by the reasonalby low price at first. They will jack the price up once they get you commiteed and the packers arrive. Also on delivery ther is additonal charges to unload and unpack items that they packed. Crazy right. Do not giv ethis company your business. They are not in the business of fair practice. Very deceptive.

I am so thankful that I did not use this company to move my belongings. I used Homebullietin website which is an on-line service who sends out my information to movers in the area. Brad from Advantage had called me to solicit my business. He did a teriffic sales job and I did reserve my move. However, just after I hung up with him, I received a call that I had an issue with the purchase of my new home. I called Brad back within 10 minutes of reserving the truck and asked him to cancel the reservation. He said he already sent the information to accounting and that he would have to get accounting to reverse the charges on my credit card. I called again a few times and Brad could have not been more dismissive. They did indeed charge my card. Luckily my credit card is reserving the charges. I then did some more research this mover and all I could see was the worst ratings and horrible moving experiences from others! This sounds like the most disreputable moving company ever. STAY CLEAR OF THEM!
