I moved away from Lawrenceville for a few years and have returned to The Arrtisan...Kristi is my stylist and it is the same comfortable salon, friendly, great customer service, wonderful hair cut and color. It is so nice to come back to a salon where the same stylists are still at the salon...no turnover...that is a good thing...means they are happy! They stay updated with current trends, products, information. And being an Aveda salon is great too. So happy that Kristi is back from maternity leave. I refer The Artisan which means I get $10 off for each referral which I love!!! And they have a rewards program...spend $100 on Aveda products and I get any product free. How nice is that?? Thanks, Artisan!!!!

Pros: Talented stylists, great customer service by all staff, comfortable atmosphere..just like home!

After relocationg to Gwinnett County, I needed to find a hair salon! Thank goodness for this website, because it gave me options and reviews. My first appointment @ The Artisan was wonderful, loved my hair, the atmosphere, & the genuine professionalism of all. My stylist is Kimberly Whitfield, who I highly reccommend. Friends and family have complimented on the subtle changes of the color and cut, and, my third appointment with the salon is this week.

I used to love the Artisan Gathering, but I have been disappointed of late. My stylist Kristi has been MIA since she had her baby, and her hours are way too limited to ever get an appointment :-(. The administrative staff have been uninfomed/or deceptive in communications. I recently called to change an appointemnt and was told it had already been cancelled. I never would have known if I hadn't called! I hope Kristi REALLY comes back soon and that the appointment setters learn some professionalism or I will be looking for a new salon. The Artisan Gathering is just too pricey to get mediocre service.

I was referred to Amber by two of my friends (thank you Krissy & Nancy) who are long time customers. Their hair was always shaped well, the color was flattering, and they were very satisfied with her services. Since she became my hairdresser I have been very satisfied with my hairstyle and color, which without her would be a very plain shade of grey. Amber has given me back my beautiful birth color with highlights. She is very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgable about the style and colors which are suitable for me. The salon staff are very friendly and the location is convenient to my work and home. Thanks, Amber

I was looking for a new hairdresser and I asked a friend ( who's hair always looks fantastic) who did her hair. She refered me to Amber at The Artisan Gathering and I've been a loyal customer for almost 2 years now.On the first visit, Amber offered very good advice on the cut and color I was looking for and she does the same every time I go in, because I usually don't know what I'm going to do until I'm in her chair. Amber and the staff are always friendly and fun. I have a couple of friends who now go to Amber and we all always look forward to our appointment.

I absolutely love this place! I moved to Georgia 6 years ago and I was looking for a salon that used Aveda products. I'm from Minnesota so Aveda products are all I have ever used. The Aveda store at the Mall of Georgia recommended the Artisan Gathering, I booked my first appointment and have been a loyal customer ever since! Amber Haga is my stylist and she is the best, she is not only my stylist but I feel like she is my friend. She works with me when I'm indecisive about my color or style and I'm always a willing participant when she has a new color technique to try out becasue I know I will always come out looking great! My friends tell me how natural my hair looks and I feel I owe that to Amber. If your looking for a relaxing atmosphere and friendly service this is the place for you!! What are you waiting for book your appointment now!!

Shear Delight!! The Artisan Gathering is a welcome change from the gimmicky and unpersonable mall type salons - it was just a completely wonderful experience. I have frequented expensive salons in Buckhead and also salons around the Mall of Georgia and this salon was just a joy to find. The atmosphere is so friendly and bright and comfortable and all the personnel make you feel like you are at home - I didn't want to leave!! I saw Wanda for highlights and cut and she was great - she spent a lot of time on my highlights trying to achieve a more complimentary highlight pattern and the final product was worth the wait! Not to mention the amount of personal attention taken to make sure I got the results I wanted. When it came time to pay I actually thought I underpaid for the services I received. I spent a very relaxing and comfortable part of my afternoon at that house and I felt like I was part of a family - all the sylists were so friendly and all the customers seemed very happy to be there and with the services they were receiving. This salon is truly a delight and I am so happy I found it!

Kristi Christman is the best hairdresser I have ever had. The Artisan Gathering is a wonderful salon. It is by far the best experience in salons I have ever had from California, Washington, Florida and Georgia! The people are super friendly and helpful. No snobby people here. You know how you as for advice and don't get it? Here they work with you to create the perfect color, the perfect style and you don't feel rushed. I recommend The Artisan Gathering with the highest score. It is top notch!

Very relaxing atmosphere with experienced and caring stylists. Been visiting salon for 10+ years at the recommendation of a friend of mine. No desire to change. Stylists are very up to date on styles, products, make up, etc. I

The Artisan Gathering is my favorite salon. I have moved several times around the country, and recently my husband and I moved to Georgia. I am a religious Aveda user, and I only go to Aveda salons. My first visit to the Artisan Gathering was a few months ago. The atmospere is calm, and comforting. The staff is very kind, and you are offered a drink as soon as you come in the door. The salon itself is in an old house, and this gives you a sense of "feeling at home". The stylists also give you the same feeling, they make you feel welcome. Unlike many salons I've been to, I didn't feel like stylist was trying to rush me out of her chair, she seemed to really care about me, and my HAIR! If you love your hair as much as I do, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with one of the ladies at the Artisan Gathering!!

Pros: Excellent talent, Quality work, Friendly personalities, Calming atmosphere

Cons: NOTHING!
