This is a very cool and relaxed back spot to go to for a night. I like the atmosphere and the setup of the club. There is an underground location where most people go to dance and hang out and have fun then there is a bar area where the mini flat screens review what the theme of the night may be. The types of events that go on here are for the very artistic type of people.

Downtown dosen't really have any options for a drink and scene, other than the major hotels. But this little hole-in-the wall place in Farilie/Poplar is the answer. Whether you are a GSU student, business man, or DT resident, this place grooves. Nice bartenders, good drinks, and just fun. Downtown is coming back!
Pros: It's Downtown! Hip, Groovy, and Just Fun!
Cons: Parking Can Be Tight!

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about! The Mark is great! The staff is fun and courteous. I had a great time there about a month ago, Lauren and Mylyn took care of my friends and I! I will be back again.
Pros: cute bartenders, strong drinks

This place seems to be at the high end cost-wise of the Atlanta club scene. $20 cover on a Saturday night. Rail drinks $9, call liquors are $10 or $11 and was too afraid to ask what a premium cost. The two room setup is pretty nice and sound doesn't bleed through between them.

Yes, the place is beautiful. The "old Karma" is definately spiffier, but the staff is so rude, I won't send another client there. I constantly have to direct my clients to places that they will enjoy while they're in town. I used to send them here. Not anymore! I would only send the people I didn't like now! The staff is borderline hostile. Of the three times that I've been there, 2 out of 3 have been bad experiences due to staff (door and bar). The only good experience that I had was the opening night when the owner was there and we played connect four and had drinks. I won't go back, nor recommend that anyone else be put through the experience.
Pros: Decor, Lounge, Music
Cons: Staff, Bartenders

Well the thing that ticked me off most was that I read online that if I rsvp'd I could get in free, but when we got there they acted like they knew nothing of it. I protested b/c I knew I had read that and basically I was made out to be a jerk for arguing and had to pay. I emailed about it and was told that no one else had a problem getting in free and that I could come back for free but I definitely would not want to, I guess when we came none of the staff had been told about free entry. Also the crowd sucked... I felt like I was the oldest person in there and I'm only 23. Never going back!
Pros: Strong drinks
Cons: Staff

Thank you thank you thank you! Karma was "home" to so many of us, but you have taken it and improved on it more than words can describe! NYC has nothing on "The Mark"!
Pros: True Class, Best Sound, Best Bartenders
Cons: , Nothing, Nothing

So many clubs come and go in Atlanta....The Mark is an all time CLASSIC. Formally Karma, then revamped into the swanky, mondern lounge "the Mark" will always beat your expectations. The space is great with many different areas to dance or catch up with your friends. I have been to the new places and although fun, The Mark is the root of Atlanta clubs.

Wow. The old Karma got a hell of a facelift. Much better than before, and improving on itself week in and week out. We went last week to catch Grandmaster Flash and he did not dissapoint. The decor is swanky, the sound system is awesome, and the vibe definitely hits on point! A little crowded that Friday night, but that's to be expected. Downtown's definitely coming around with the Mark and Sidebar (former ground level of Karma) on the ground level. We picked up some great food and drinks and then headed down to the club. Great pair!!
Pros: Sexy, Good Music, Great Staff

This place has one of the greatest layouts I've ever seen -- easily the best in Atlanta. Beautiful decor, plenty of room to lounge, great flow, with the dance floor separate. And the staff are really cool, too; none of the attitude like you'll find at eleven50. I was very impressed; I just hope people will make the drive downtown to check it out because it's totally worth it.
Pros: Great vibe, Lots of room
Cons: Stands alone
