I thoroughly enjoyed this bakery! I love mom & pop type of stores any way-they are always so charming. They are definiely Australian in their baked goods, it isn't just a name. They have alot of things I have never seen or tried, and maybe one day will be brave enought too. My daughter was happy they had some American treats too. We ordered coffee, milk and pastries and enjoyed looking around at the Australian decor. The vegimite almost scared me out the door (that stuff is horrible), but they assured me it wasn't in the baked goods!

The Australian Bakery Cafe on the Square in Marietta is a fun place for a bite or to pick up baked goods. While it is probably best known for its very inexpensive authentic Australian meat pies, the sweets and desserts are also intriguing, with Pavlovas and Lamingtons and other non-American sounding goods to try out.
The walls are lined with Australian goodies, including Vegamite, which some of us know only from a certain 80's Australian pop group.
Step in when you're on the square, for a fun eating and shopping experience.
PROS: tasty fresh pies and baked goods, interesting shopping, very inexpensive
CONS:
Very happy

They did some trays of bite-sized meat pies and quiches, as well as assorted deserts. It was incredibly easy, and went over very well!
