Great place to shoot pool by Natalie J. at InsiderPages

East Point Corner Tavern has GREAT food and awesome prices! They also have a section in the bar for shooting a few games of pool. It is kind of hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. It's street visibility is pretty bad. I loved this place and will go again.
Great karaoke, Good Food, Good Mix Of People

This is a wonderful neighborhood bar near the East Point train station. I went there to eat initially because I'd won a gift certificate to The East Point Tavern but have since returned many times. The food is good.
Saturday's karaoke is really good. I like the sound system there. There's enough participation to keep it interesting. A truly diverse crowd that somehow meshes. There's a good groove going on!
- Pros: Good food, karaoke, friendly people
- Cons: I think you can smoke
Great Neighborhood Tavern

Everytime I go to the EPT Tavern I have a great time. The variety of beers, food and people makes this bar awesome. They have trivia, pool tables, karaoke, poker, and live music. I meet great people all the time. The entire staff has the best customer service. If you ever in the Airport Area, you should definately stop by and have a cool time.
Coolest EPT Bar

East Point Corner Tavern is a great neighborhood bar. They have cool a** bartenders(Heather & Chris)! I love Adult trivia on Fridays and Karaoke on Saturdays ( wait to you see the Michael Jackson guy...Hilarious) and pool tables. The Burgers and the Fried Artichokes are the best, as well as the rest of the food. Mostly, I love the mixture of people, it reminds me of the East Point I grew up in.
great music

This place has great food and atmosphere. We saw two great singer/guitar players from Athens, GA. Spencer Frye and Jason Beckham are two of the best song writers we have seen in a while. We also saw Jade Lemmon from the rock band Injected hanging out. This is a place to see stars and to discover up and coming stars!
- Pros: Great music
Perfect bar. Glad it's in my neighborhood.

No matter who I take here, they always love it. My last date was transported by what was playing on the jukebox -- he said it reminded him of his college days in a very good way (he has great taste in music). It's the only bar I've been to where I've not had to battle to get a pool table. Staff is awesome, friendly, willing to make anything you can describe in a drink. You can park in the back and sneak up the rear stairs if parking out front is not available. Never been for trivia or tournament pool nights, but have seen a twosome playing guitar in the past. Great place.
- Pros: Adventurous bartenders, great music, all kinds of people
Local tavern lures worker bees for casual lunches and night owls for twilight bar games.

The Scene
Traipsing up the seamy stairwell to the second level in this historic building, visitors may be apprehensive but will feel at home once inside the cozy tavern. A jukebox belts out rockin' rhythms while a mix of urban pioneers and airport employees devour meals, compete in pool games or commandeer a comfy, exposed-brick corner for a game of backgammon. Affable staff keeps cocktail and pint glasses filled.
The Draw
Off the barhoppers beaten path, the tavern has become a neighborhood institution for its reasonably priced, pub grub menu, billiards, Hold 'Em tourneys and live music. This watering hole, in the hometown of TLC and Outkast, is adding a little alternative flavor to the area, as East Point becomes a hot spot for trendy urbanites. When the weather is balmy, seize a wrought iron table and plastic lawn chair on the covered balcony that overlooks the square below.
Better than "The Earl"

Just moved to "the Point" and am becoming a regular here. Their food may really be the best bar grub in Atlanta. The chicken sandwiches are noteworthy and the specials always please. Be sure to order a side salad with your meal. It is surprisingly fresh and tasty. I guess the burgers are fine too. Ambiance is groovy. People of all lifestyles hang out there, you can smoke and the waitstaff are cooly tattooed and jaded. The high density Belgian brew on tap is a must when you want a quick buzz. Feels like home.
- Pros: Food and above ground terrace
- Cons: Can't think of any
best bar in East Point

I love Corner Tavern. The space is massive and wonderful. The patio is one of my favorites in Atlanta. Food is consistently good. Service is always great. Poker night is fun. Good jukebox selection too.
- Pros: great service, food, ambience
Great Neighborhood Restaurant/Bar
by mt1 at Citysearch
Very friendly staff seats you promptly or tells you to sit anywhere you want. Nice bar with attentive barkeep and pretty good drink selection. Menu is fairly standard, but tasty and never disappointing. The music isn't cranked up and you can have a mostly normal conversation without shouting. Never seems too packed with people or too deserted. Nice outdoor seating in the back. The usual pub/bar stuff like darts, pool (3 or 4 tables), jukebox, and regular events like trivia night.
Each time I go I tell myself I should go more often.
Maybe just a tiny bit hard to find the first time... It's upstairs, so you only see the front door from Main Street. It's in the last building on the left before the traffic light at Cleveland Ave, across Main from East Point MARTA station. Main is one-way (north) for about three blocks in this area.
- Pros: Friendly staff, Good food, Good drink
