Okay, so like many others I hardly payed attention to this little gem of a spa until I was leaving the grocery store, Sevenanda next door, and decided to venture in! Boy, was that a JAckPot move on my part. I got a quick consultation from the front deck attendant and told them what I needed, in terms of massage issues, and they certainly steered me in the best direction I have found in a talented MT in quite some time! She is angel with a Certification and very skilled, warm, nourturing hands. Elizabeth is this little dynamo's name and massage therapy is her AllStar game. Thank you for hiring her. She totally takes care of me everytime and was a great find after my long-time therapist moved away to the bright lights and big city of LA. Elizabeth is the BEST, for my money and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pampering and special care and attention to detail. I'v been going to Sweetgrass now for more than a yr and they definitely do not disappoint everytime I make it back in.... Oh, shoot! That reminds me....I have an appt. to make! Can I invite you to come with....you won't be sorry!!!!!!!!

You'll Be Hooked

I discovered Sweetgrass walking past it one day in Little Five Points. Its in an old building kinda back from Moreland. I honestly went in just to take a peak, but the front desk girl was so nice and engaging that I decided to make an appointment. That was a year ago and Ive never looked back.

I have had everything under the sun done at Sweetgrass and its all been fantastic. The decor is a little eclectic, the rooms are kinda small, there is some vivid colors on the walls, and its definitely not your granola spa scene- but hey its Little Five Points. However, aside from the untypical spa decor I could not say enough about what a 5 Star spa and salon Sweetgrass really is. They are super friendly, remember your name and face the moment they see you, they seem to all work really well together and seem to be having a lot of fun working there even though they are absolute professionals.

The manager recently explained that because of the limited space they can only hire the best of the best and that there is a really tough interview process. Well congrats to those who made it in, because its paid off. Every single person I have had there has basically been the best, and they seem to get better and better every time i go. I highly highly recommend this place for hair services or spa services.

I LOVE THIS SALON AND SPA

I thought I would write a review because I have been going to Sweetgrass for over five years and I cannot say enough about what great hairstylist they have. They are very talents stylist, always friendly and go-the-extra-mile to make sure you enjoy your service. I have also purchased many gift certificates from Sweetgrass and everyone I have sent there has loved it too. The massages are the best I have ever had. I highly recommend Sweetgrass Salon and Wellness Spa.

SO worth it!!!!!!!

I pass sweetgrass almost everyday and so i finally, on a whim, went in for a haircut. BEST decision i've made in several months. the stylist i saw was very thorough in explaining how to take care of my hair. she told me everything she was doing as she did it and was just generally helpful and friendly. i totally recommend this place if you need a haircut/style/trim. and they use aveda products! a little pricey, but absolutely worth it.

Best eyebrows and my skin is better than ever!

I've always done my eyebrows myself. My friend went to Sweetgrass and got her eyebrows done by Kristen a few weeks ago. I have never seen her eyebrows look so good so I decided to see Kristen myself. I'm so happy I did! She also discussed what Aveda skincare products she thought would be best for me. I bought them and have been using them for 2 weeks now. My skin is glowing! I keep getting compliments which further convinces me that Kristen knows her stuff! She told me I should come back for a bikini wax, I'll have to think about that one...For now I know where to get my eyebrows done and when my Mom visits I plan for facials by Kristen!

Personable Spa and Salon

I have recently started going to Sweetgrass since I moved to Candler Park. I first started by seeing Kimmy for a haircut. I didn't request anyone but was very happy to end up in her chair. She has cut my hair three times total and I have referred her 2 of my friends who have also been very happy. I recently took advantage of a great offer they had for gift certificates they ran over Christmas and me and my boyfriend went for a couples massage. They were excellent massages!!! Seriously the freaking best. Everyone in there is so cool and geuninely nice. They really seem eager to help out. Cant recommend it enough- its definitely a locals place since it seems like everyone there knows everyone in Atlanta. Im happy to be a regular customer!

Great Hair Job

Ive gone there twice for both a hairstyle and a hair wax and both have been fantastic. The hair stylists seem to move around quite a bit, but I have been more than satisfied both times with my color and cuts. I love that the salon area isn't a crazy mess and full of people. Its really personable and quiet, and much easier to relax versus a bunch of assistants running around.

The waxing girl has been there forever, I can't remember name but shes really nice and super fast. Basically the best bikini wax I have ever gotten since it was practically pain free.

Price wise they are reasonable. The haircut and color is only $100 total. I get one color though so I am not sure what highlights cost. The first time i went I printed a coupon from the website for a free cut with color, but you can only use it once. Absolutely dig this place!

Peace in L5P

I must have driven past this place over a hundred times before I even knew it was there. Its underneath a tattoo parlor and beside a vegan grocery store so it gets kind of lost in the shuffle of Little Five Points. Once inside of Sweetgrass you instantly forget that you're in the busy neighborhood of L5P. It's in an old rustic building thats been kept up well and the decor pays tribute too. The spa area is a fairly large space in the back closed off from the salon out front. The employees are all very nice and have zero attitude unlike most of the stores in that area. The soft music they have playing drowns out the sounds of cars and people. The massage therapists magic touch drown out your thoughts and stress. Definitely recommend this place! You will leave floating down Moreland.
