Miracle Workers

My hair is definitely not easy to "Tame". Heather Weaver (wooohoooo married Heather Wallace!) never ceases to amaze me as I walk out of the salon with the straitest and flattest hair anyone could ever want. Yes, some people do desire flat strait hair...it comes from a lifetime of extreme bigness and frizzy curl.
Never have I felt uncomfortable, as every stylist smiles at me or remembers my name from the last times I was in the salon. I love the realness of Heather as she does my hair and finds some humorous story to tell me. I always leave more than satisfied and I feel like a walking advertisement as people constantly ask where I get my "hair did". You can't go wrong with any of the stylists at Grow, especially Heather, who has such an eagerness to continue learning, beautify people, and install a sense of self-confidence in others. Her beauty truly shows the light that she lives for.
- Pros: Staff, Smiles, Laughs, Atmosphere
- Cons: not a one

I've actually been driving back to grow from Athens just to get my hair cut, as I haven't been able to find anywhere I like as much! Chris and Martha are both excellent. I recommend it!
- Pros: atmosphere, stylists, prices
- Cons: none i can think of
So happy and still getting compliments!
by JulesM55 at Citysearch
I have recently been very busy so my hair had not been done forever and it showed. I finally made time to get to the salon and just recieved the nicest compliment about my hair so I feel I must give credit where credit is due. Adrianne cuts my hair and she does a wonderful job turning my mop into something beautiful. What I love about it is that it is not just beautiful when I leave the salon but looks great after I wash and style it as well. To me, that is the mark of a great cut.
- Pros: parking lot, friendly, relaxing
- Cons: none
hair goodness.

heather at grow has been good to my hair. i have seen many hairstylists in atlanta, but heather is the one that has gotten my hair right. she knows how to color it without stripping it of its goodness, and my cut has kept from giving in and cutting my hair short (i've been trying to grow it long for a long time, but always give in.)
grow is a hip and relaxing environment. people are nice and real. if you need a good cut and color, grow is the place to go!
- Pros: good products used and sold. and the products are nice to animals.
Best salon in ATL!
by holidayabby at Citysearch
Grow is hands down the best salon in ATL. Heather's been my stylist for 2.5 yrs. and I've never walked out of the salon feeling short of amazing! She's willing to to try new things with me, offer suggestions, and listens. Over the 2.5 yrs I've been seeing Heather, she's seen me go from elbow-length hair to a shorter bob-and she's worked magic every step of the way. She is incredibly down to earth and has never made me feel uncomfortable. I scheduled an impromptu appt. to get my bangs trimmed w/another stylist at Grow one day when Heather was out and was not disappointed although I was a little nervous seeing someone else.
I always recommend Grow Salon to anyone looking for a new stylist.
Haircut appts have become my favorite days! I always look forward to my next appt.
- Pros: Everything! Especially the people!
- Cons: none
Great salon!

People,
I really enjoyed this salon. First of all, I called last minute and they were so sweet and accomodating. Secondly, Tiffany, whom I was cut and colored by, did a fantastic job. She really listened during the consultation, was confident in her manner, and gave me what I asked for. I would highly recommend her.
Overall, I found the salon to be relaxing and professional. I also really appreciated not having to interact with 5 or 6 different staff members.....you know one to wash, one to dry, color, cut, and then pay. I was warmly greeted, promptly tended to, and left with my services, tip, and shampoo/conditioner for under $200.
I am so happy I was referred here and have found a new place to get everything done under one roof.
- Pros: talent, relaxing, free/easy parking, get some Figo on your way home...
Unable to get appt.

My current hair-stylist flew the coop, so I needed a new one (always a scary proposition). Tried to call for an appt at Grow all afternoon. Nothing but the voicemail. Needed a hair cut really bad, so couldn't wait (I had read other reviews about the lack of Grow's response to the voice mails). Ended up gettting an appt at Helmet in East Atlanta for the next day. Grow should probably re-think the voice-mail thing and get a scheduler. I do hear Grow is really nice, though.
Response from this business

I am incredibly sorry that you continually got the voicemail at grow. We have two very capable people at the front desk that handle the scheduling of appointments. As the salon is very busy, there are times when they are both completing a transaction with a client. When clients leave messages they are promptly called back. We strive to provide the best in customer service and I hate to hear that you were dissatisfied. I greatly appreciate your input and encourage you to give us another try!
Finally found my stylist!

I love going to Grow salon and I love my new stylist, Eric. I've seen him 4 times now and I'm always happy with the end result. He does an excellent job on my cut and color consistently. We usually do something a little different so I don't get bored with my hair, but he makes sure I'm comfortable with the changes. I leave the salon feeling great about how I look and knowing my money was well spent. I've lived in a few different cities (LA, NYC) so I've been forced to find new stylists over the years. I've always had a hard time finding someone that is very skilled, has good taste and doesn't chat me up the entire time I'm in the chair. I love getting my hair done when I can relax, sit back, read and know that my stylist is focused on my hair and not trying to entertain me. Although, Eric is nice and easy to talk to if you feel like talking.
The salon has a modern, relaxing and comfortable feel. It is in a cool shopping complex with yummy food nearby (Ducks & Corner Pub) and the parking is very convenient. I'm just so thrilled to have found a stylist that is professional and that gives me a flattering and beautiful hairstyle every time!
- Pros: Wonderful stylist Eric, easy parking & eating nearby, staff isn't snobby
- Cons: none so far!
What a relaxing experience!

Finally a salon where everyone is friendly, accessible, and professional. This place is beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxing. For the first time in a long time I enjoyed my visit to a salon. I am very picky but was so happy with this place! Thanks to Adrianne who did a wonderful job with my cut and my color and made me feel like a milion bucks! I will definately be back here to see Adrianne.
- Pros: lots of parking, great atmosphere, wonderful cut and color, relaxing
- Cons: none!
