My Favorite Thai Restaurant
by DennisB at Citysearch
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Atlanta metro area... maybe of any that I've tried anywhere. The Spicy Basil is my favorite. My mouth waters all the way to the restaurant when I think of the flavor. I like that the decor is more modern and hip than the usual elephants and statues at most Thai places... as is the music. The owner and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make our meal enjoyable. It is always our restaurant of choice to celebrate birthdays or other special occaisions.
- Pros: Nice atmosphere, great food
- Cons: too far from my house
Tried them for takeout Pad Thai
by Anonymous0509 at Citysearch
I decided to try this place for dinner take-out and all was fine until I got home with the meal, and noticed that there was no shrimp in my shrimp rolls and the chicken in my Pad Thai was overcooked. That being said, the flavors were good, and I will give them another try.
- Pros: Nice Decor, Fast & Friendly Service
- Cons: Chicken in the Pad Thai was overcooked & got the wrong rolls

The atmosphere itself will make you forget you are in Smyrna! It has a beautiful natural yet modern vibe to it. Everytime we've visited the food has been exquisite. I'm a big fan of the pad thai with shrimp and the basil rolls. My husband loves the masaman curry and we both can't get enough of the thai iced tea.
Best Thai food in Georgia!!

Siam Square is amazing!! The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is charming, the service is superb. We used to live close and have now moved to Roswell. Siam Square makes us get in the car and make the drive. It is worth the drive (and we drive at least once a week) for the amazing food. The calamari is one of our favorites and it is by far the best. We have not found calamari anywhere that compares. Chanya the owner has truly brought a piece of Bankok to Smyrna.
- Pros: food is authentic and outstanding; service is excellent
Great food, staff, and atmosphere!

Siam Square is the best all around Thai restaurant I've ever tried.
The service is very friendly, and they are happy to help answer any questions.
I love the spicy shrimp soup and pad thai!
Siam Square would be a great place to go on a date at night because the atmosphere
is unique and romantic. I can always count on Siam Square to provide for me a good time, and a
full belly!

SIam Square offers Thai food that is truly tasty and unique in a quiet corner of Smyrna. Jennifer Kornahrens took me there for many years and I have yet to find a nicer Thai restaurant with a nicer staff. Good service, good food...all around excellent.
- Pros: Nice art
Great atmosphere, great food

This is one of our regular Thai restaurants, and we eat here at least once every other week. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great. You get the feeling it should be in midtown rather than in Smyrna. The food is always great. This is the best calimari I've ever had. I'm also a big fan of the Siam Square curry.
Good food and service

I receive coupons in the mail frequently for restaurants. I try to use a few of them to save money since I enjoy eating out so much. I've recieved coupons for Siam Square on Windy Hill Road before, but we never seem to make it up there. I am glad we finally did! The dining room is very modern with Thai influences. The restaurant is named after Siam Square, the "Times Square" of Thailand. A large photo of Siam Square hangs on the back wall of the restaurnt. Reds and gold accent throughout. On a Friday night, there were only 5-6 tables seated although more came in as the meal progressed. In talking with several friends that work in the area, it's very much a "lunch place." My dining companion opted for hot tea while I had iced tea. Both were very good, with a hint of a spice we could not identify. We got the fried tofu with plum sauce as an appetizer, quite good. I love tofu in almost any form. The outside was fried crispy with a soft inside. My companion had a curry dish for his entree and enjoyed it. He did not say much else about it. The steamed, sticky rice was good. I had the pad thai with chicken and tofu, which is my usual dish when eating out for Thai since I do not like curry or spicy food. The noodles, sauce, tofu, and vegetables were excellent. The sauce was not as sweet as normal, which I liked. My only complaint was that the chicken was a bit chewy. The homemade tea ice cream for dessert was average. Portion sizes were large but not unreasonable. We did not take any leftovers home. The service was very attentive; we were never lacking for anything. The courses were paced well, and the chef/owner came out to see how our meal was and to make sure everything was ok.
Our check was $35 before the coupon and $24 after, quite a bargin. There are several other dishes that we want to try, so we will definitely go back.
- Pros: Easy Parking, Convenient, Good Food, Good Service, Lots of Tofu Dishes
- Cons: Dessert
Inconsistent Thai
by yojoles at Citysearch
I have gone to this place every week for the past year and I was really enjoyed my meal. However, the last 3 times I was there, they either got my order wrong, took forever to wait on me, or the food was not good. It seems that they may have different chefs, because they prepare the dishes differently depending on the day. One day there may be onions and broccoli and cabbage and baby corn in the dish and the next time, there may only be broccoli. I usually go here during lunch, but I have decided to give them a break because the last time I was there service was so SLOW. I was there, watched 3 parties come in after I did and all of them ordered before me. One actually got their food before I got the chance to order., so it frustrated me. There is a possibility that if you go here, the food will be good, but right now, there are on my x list.
- Pros: Prompt seating
- Cons: Inconsistent food quality
Absolute Best Thai!
by jacksonamym at Citysearch
Siam Square was my first Thai experience and I keep coming back! I've tried many other thai restaurants and nothing ever holds a candle to this place. The service is always very warm and friedly. The owner Chanya Than is always there talking to customers and and making sure everthing is running smoothly. No matter how long it has been between vists she always recognizes us and talks with us like old friends! An added bonus to the sophisticated atmosphere and excellent food is eclectic thai jewerly she sells right there by the bar. The absolute best dish is the Siam square Curry which is, potatoes and chicken in a yellow curry sauce, served with a small dish of cucumber, onion and a sweet honey vinegar! A dish you won't find anywhere else! I believe I have tried most everything on the menu and have yet to find something I don't love. Once you try Siam Square you won't eat thai anywhere else!
- Pros: Ambience, food, service, authenticity
- Cons: location
