by CSMobileUser2
It was my job to find a restaurant for a family
Get together.unfortunately i made the mistake of
Choosing this place.we had reservations and were
Sat down promptly but it was 15 minutes
Before anyone even aknowleged us,our food
Took forever to arrive and was not well
Seasoned,rather bland.very difficult to get
Drink refills and when the bill came i thought
We were going to have to wash the dishes
Not worth the money, will not be back.
Poor Service, OK Food, Rude Manager
by DMC75
Was there for lunch on a weekday, and despite being mostly empty, service was very slow. My wife ordered a fish entree and asked if she could substitute the salad for the normal side orders. After much discussion, our waitress returned and said that would be OK and we placed our order. After a long wait, my blackened salmon sandwich was very oily and not very blackened, and my wife said that her entree was just OK. However, the real shock came when we received the bill, where I saw $24 for my wife's fish and $7 for her salad after being told that a substitution was OK (remember that these are LUNCH prices, not dinner). I went to speak with the manager about this, and rather than attempting to make this right, he was nothing short of rude. If you're looking for good seafood and professional service at reasonable prices, pass this restaurant by.
- Pros: Iced tea was good
- Cons: Overpriced, slow service, mediocre food
The best seafood in Atlanta!
by vbach68
My family took me out for Mother's Day and we had the most amazing seafood. My husband had the blackened mahi with fried oysters and loved it. My daughter and I split the halibut with heart of palm salad and almost ordered another to split. Instead we got the tiramisu trifle for dessert. The service was friendly and the food was great. We highly recommend this restaurant!
- Pros: Food, Service, & Atmosphere
- Cons: Music too loud

as a picky eater, i can say that this is probably the best meal ive ever had. fresh seafood (in alpharetta!), great service. we did have to wait about 30 min for a table, but had great drinks at the bar while we waited! all in all, a great experience!!
- Pros: great bartenders/seafood
- Cons: none
Seafood Nightmare
by sunfleet
This restaurant has really gone downhill. Several times over the past few years, since the restaurant opened, we have been able to get relatively good service and sea food, however last night was a very poor experience and a birthday celebration at that. The waiter was mediocre, water, coffee etc. not refilled, however the worst was the manager, who was very rude and short in defense of his chef. The oysters literally came out the size of almonds (no kidding) which we refused and they did take off the bill, the tuna au Poivre was cold and there was a drop of sauce on the steak, the grilled lobster was uncooked and when returned was mushy (like they heated it in water) and when we asked to speak to the manager on duty, Ross Coleman, well he was just rude, cold, and indifferent.. NEVER AGAIN! The price is too expensive for poor food and poor service.
- Pros: seated promptly
- Cons: manager on duty
great seafood, too far for me
by lalababy
While Atlanta has been developing around the city such as Buckhead and Midtown, Atlantic Seafood Company is too far for me. I love seafood, and ASC has definitely satisfied my desire for that. They have great service and the atmosphere is great. I will definitely return here.
- Pros: food,service
- Cons: location
Best seafood in a long time
by Foodie4580
I dined there last Saturday and they were packed. I waited an hour for my table and it was certainly worth the wait. We started out with mussels in a chipotle broth and they were amazing! My wife had the soy honey glazed sea bass and I had the grouper special. Both dishes were out of this world and I love how you can see the fresh fish when you walk in. I would definitely recommend this place, it was the best seafood I have had in Atlanta!
- Pros: Fresh Fish
- Cons: Loud

Service is good however the portion and price is terrible. High price for small portion size. The food is good, but not really worth the cost, especially for lunch. I am generally more pleased overall with the dinner menu and dinner portion sizes.
Declining in quality, but still good
by bu_bear
I dined at ASC mid-October 2007 while in the ATL on business. Had dined there previously about 4 years ago. Overall, ASC seemed to have slipped a few notches in the areas that made it such a nice place before - ambiance, food quality, and classiness. The food was still pretty good, even for the price, but we could have been at a Shoney's for the all the class and ambiance ASC has now. The front entrance smelled very fishy - not a good thing since that's the sushi bar! We had the scallops, trout, and salmon in our party of 3. All were good, although the portions were not huge. The side dishes were just as interesting as the entrees, but the quality was a little less than expected.
Maybe the telling point for me was when we ate there several years ago, the fancy cars parked just outside the front door by the valets were a nice Mercedes and Porsche. Recently, the lone "trophy" car was a yellow Mustang!
- Pros: Menu variety, food quality
- Cons: Ambiance is mediocre at best
Saturday Night Not-So-Special
by nehji22
My wife and I ate at ASC two days ago and are still are having a hard time shaking that feeling that we just got taken for a ride. The restaurant has the potential to be a great spot, and the decor is nice as well. The problem is they charge premium prices for mediocre food. The service was not bad, but not great. For a $100 meal, I was highly disappointed with the quality of the food. There are better seafood places for 1/4 the price, you just don't get the stuffy atmosphere to go along.
- Pros: Decor, free Valet, Immediate seating (now I know why)
- Cons: Food, average service
