Very helpful service and advice

I had purchased an opal for a gift for a dear friend. My husband and I visited Solomon Brothers to get the opal set in a pendant. Ryan spent a lot of time with us to select the setting which had to be ordered. He called us when the setting arrived and we came back to approve it. After the opal was mounted, Ryan called us to pick it up and the work was beautiful and the price was very good. I strongly recommend Solomon Brothers for anyone needing any work done, and especially Ryan for knowledgable and extremely friendly service.

Buyer Beware

Incompetent sales force, horrendous customer service, bait and switch pricing, and arrogant/indifferent management staff makes this a store not worth returning to. Promised the piece we ordered for our anniversary in 3-4 weeks, it's now 7 weeks later (and well past our anniversary date) and still no ring. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

The best place in Atlanta for engagement rings

I brought my girlfriend at the time into Solomon Brothers to look at engagement rings. She was moving overseas for an 18 month work stint, so I needed to get an idea of the type of ring she was interested in. After spending almost an hour scanning each case and looking at different settings, she actually found she liked a style completely different than what she thought she would like. We had her ring finger sized and setting style recorded by the sales associate.

Zoom ahead 9 months... and I was ready to purchase the ring. Unfortunately, my information was cross referenced in the computer. There was another customer with my same exact name, which meant the ring size and setting were not recorded in the computer. Thankfully I remembered the ring size (or close to it) and was able to remember the exact setting.

Normally, the above experience would have soured the transaction... but Terry with Solomon Brothers really went the extra mile to make up for it. The engagement ring was ordered and turned out incredible. Since I didn't have the size exactly right (it was a little big) Solomon Brothers took care of having it re-sized (twice) when my fiance was back in the states.

My fiance and I purchased our wedding bands from Solomon Brothers as well... both turned out great. We will definitely use Solomon Brothers as our jeweler in the future.

I bought my engagement ring on-line, I've got exactly what I wanted in a beautiful box, at a great price.

The service is excellent, Jared will make you feel like you are part of the family, and he will do whatever he can to make you happy and to make your special moment extraordinary.

I got the biggest and clearest diamond for the money.

After the purchase I had that professionally appraised and it appraised for 40% more of what I paid for.

Great deal!!!

I am coming up on my 3 year wedding anniversary and remembering how wonderful my experience was with Solomon Brothers. We got my engagement ring and both our bands here. Our salesperson was awesome. We definitely felt like she gave us the most for our money. (Now let's hope my husband makes another trip to Solomon Brother's for an Anniversary Band!)

Ron listened to my specifications and gave honest, objective feedback to my questions. I shopped plenty of diamond retailers, but no could match Solomon's price and Ron's outstanding service. I'll be back for the wedding bands!

Beware!!

Buyer beware – If you are not able to visit Solomon Brothers in person I would suggest that you find a reputable local dealer to work with. I purchased a round 2.5-carat stone from Solomon brothers and specified that I wanted a platinum, six prong, tiffany replica setting. I was assured that I would be happy with the setting but when upon receipt I was horrified to find my diamond set in a six prong setting with prongs that looked like they would be better suited for a garden rake than on a $11,000 diamond. I immediately consulted with my sales rep and told him that I would have to send the ring to another shop to be re-set. I was told that this would be fine as long as the other shop did not damage the setting and it was sent back to them.

I received the setting back from my new jeweler in perfect condition and when I inquired about the return I was told by Solomon brothers that since I did not return the setting within 30 days that they would not honor any return or credit.

This is how I was treated when purchasing a large stone; I hate to imagine what may happen to someone making a lesser purchase.

Beware of this vendor!

The six prong Solitaire sent accomodated a large diamond securely.Prongs any thinner might compromise the stability of the diamond. The customer wanted thinner prongs and therefore was unhappy with the mounting. He was offered a full refund if we received the ring mounting within the 30-day refund time which is stated on the invoice. 60 days later he found the ring. Below is the email we received.

Jared,

Hope things have been well for you. I gave her the stone a month or so ago and she was ecstatic, so thank you for your good work.

I have a problem though. I had spoke with you regarding the return of the setting and thought that it had been taken care of. Unfortunately I found the box with the setting in it yesterday in my desk drawer.

I don?t know what your policy on returns is or if it is flexible with absent minded people like me with the best intentions.

Best selection and prices in Atlanta

I have purchased several items from Solomon Brothers and find their selection and prices to be unmatched in Atlanta. Look around and compare- you will see! Ron has been the salesman that I always ask for because he is knowledgeable, honest, and easy going. He even remembered both me and my sister after only one visit to the store. He is a real gem- pun intended! I don't intend to make any future jewelry purchases anywhere other than Solomon Brothers.

Great products, great service and great prices

I dealt with Jared for the engagement ring; he was a pleasure to work (unlike a number of other jewelers that I dealt with), helped me find exactly what I was looking for and even got me a discount. We went back to Solomon’s for the wedding rings!
