Small Fun Hangout
by Jettison04
This is a fun place to hang out. Bartenders are friendly, sometimes a little cruisy, but still a great bar and a lot of fun. No dance floor and pretty small, but more like a "cheers" bar.
- Pros: nice bartenders, good people, friendly, great happy hour crowd
- Cons: small, no dance floor, cruisy
Best Cocktail Hour!
by jaymaygm
My partner and I always come in to kick-off the cocktail hour here. David, the batender, pours one of the best "Texas-Rita's" on the early cocktail scene. This is the place where we met thirteen years ago, when it was called "Scandal's". We still see regular's here, we met back in the day. Friendly casual crowd and atmosphere. And David, The Owner, is still a character. Along with The Oscar's, Burkhart's--Ansley Square is one stop shopping! Love it!
- Pros: Best "Rita's" On The Scene, Friendly Bartenders!
- Cons: Can Only Drink Two "Rita's"
Quaint late-night crowd-pleaser welcomes newbies and Ansley Square drifters with open arms and chalked pool cues.

The Scene
This teeny tavern features one jukebox, one pool table, one dartboard, one cute and friendly bartender and a passel of talkative regulars. A neighboring restaurant dictates low music early, which is perfect for conversations at the fully-stocked bar. The low-attitude older crowd and a younger after-hours set mingle effortlessly. Felix's is one of the few bars in town where guests can exchange numbers without having to yell above the din.
The Draw
Sitting in the heart of the bustling Ansley Square gay scene, Felix's is an ideal locale to kick or finish off a night out. Come in when going out is a priority but wall-to-wall bodies packed on a dance floor is at the bottom of your list. Friends or out-of-town guests will enjoy frothy drinks and banter. Many call Felix's "home base" to meet up with the gang before or after a jaunt through the Square.
